This is my 3rd time applying for my SSDI, and when I have checked my status in the past, it usually just says denied. I've never seen this message before. I'm just so highly anxiety ridden about this, I don't dare call them, I don't dare know the answer I guess. I was hoping someone could just give me a little hope. It's been a long 5 years of this. I finally have good doctors now. Lots of evidence this time. Here's to hope. Thank you for your time.

I was approved for Disability Maine Care, then recently I applied for SSDI. Does having disability Maine Care help my chances of being approved on my claim? Does DHHS make the disability Determinations for the State of Maine?

My husband had his disability hearing yesterday. Everything went well, my husband had his evidence, and his testimony along with mine..my question is, why did the vocational expert not speak at all? Is this a good sign? I'm so confused..

Why won't any lenders give me a home equity loan one year after my chapter 7 bankruptcy? my husband and i recently moved to a new address,we booked a vacation with the new address, and booked a flight and car for when we get there. here is my question. we went to the dmv to get our address changed on our license, but it will take 2 weeks, and we leave next week. our licenses are current, just the address is different...will we still be able to go?????

I have owned a small profitable salon in the state of Maine, and have owned it for 8 years..I am looking to sell it, but need some help with coming up with a reasonable figure. It makes around $40,000 a year. It's in a rented building...and the landlord has no problems with someone taking over and staying there...any help would be wonderfully appreciated...

My mother lost her husband last May, Last September, a very suave, handsome man came to visit his stepdaughter that lived on our street. As soon as he found out that my mother was a widow, his radar went up, and he swooped in, told her what she needed to hear, and basically pushed his way in. He moved in, used my stepfathers vehicles, ruined them, used drugs, cheated on my mother, was getting rough with her. No one liked him, but he knew just what to say to make her fall in love. We found out he was a child rapist that "served his time" but didn't register, and had warrants out in another state for felony gun charges. He was arrested, but my mother is an emotional wreck. He keeps calling, she keeps accepting his calls because her heart is in love with him. She knows in her head it's wrong, but her heart is another story. I pray he's in prison for a long time, but I don't think he will be. My mother is falling for his stories that he will change, and if he got out tomorrow, I know she would take him back. HELP. Where do I go to get her the emotional strength she needs to tell him to go to hell? I have a 14 year old daughter I don't want around this creep if he gets out soon, I know she will take him back. I need to convince her he's a loser. God, give me strength, I don't know what to do for her...

my partner just decided that she was going to leave. I don't want to leave, I want to stay. She came in, cleaned out her stuff, and just left. I put the license in my name, and explained that she just left, got a new license and thought that was it. She contacted a lawyer, and said I made an oral agreement that I was gonna either close the doors or give her 3,000 dollars. I never made that agreement. Now, does she have a leg to stand on, or do I need a lawyer myself? Everything she told that lawyer was wrong...

my partner up and left, cleaning out the place of things without letting me know, and now has hired a lawyer stating we had a verbal agreement that we would close down, and I owe her $3,000 and she will go away. I have never agreed to any of this. I didn't know she was leaving, I thought she left for the day, I come back the next day, she's cleaning me out. She's lying to her lawyer, I put the business license in my name about a week after she left, because I didn't know what else to do. I really need a lawyers advice, but it's a Friday night, and I thought I'd ask you good people for some good advice..thank you

got her home and found her loaded with fleas. I feel really bad for her, and cannot really afford the expensive brand of flea control and was wondering if anyone knew of a good home remedy until I can save up enough money for the vet brand. Thank you for taking the time to answer!!!
