  • I keep seeing the number 34 everywhere. Why?

    Here's my take on this. . .

Our subconscious is very, very powerful. It it is smart enough to be able to know when to look up at the clock at 7:34. It knows how to make a purchase so that the change on the receipt works out to a combination of 34s. It knows to make us look up when the street number on a house is 1134.

There are arguments involving pattern recognition that the sceptics will tell us about. But these fall short; they are evasions invented by people who cannot see and who do not want to see; they are evasions invented by people scared of the magical side of reality. If anybody needs proof of the mysterious, they need only explore the double-slit experiment; accepted science has cold proof that reality is far, far stranger than what the sceptics would have you believe; in fact, that consciousness is a vital component largely ignored by science, (at its own peril.)

And after all, we must ask, if the subconscious can see and seek patterns, and it certainly can, then is it not also smart enough to perform critical thinking as well? It's all happing in our own heads, after all.

But there is more. . .

There are things the subconscious cannot know in a linear sense. It cannot know to switch on a news program at the exact moment when a big 34 will be flashing on the screen on the side of a fire truck, or whatever. It cannot know that the play length on a specific MP3 with a strong and relevant message for you will be 3:43 before you download it. It cannot know that on page 34 of a book you randomly picked off a spinner rack will contain a character with your name and a solution for a specific problem you happen to be experiencing. But these things happen. We've all experienced things like this.

So how does the subconscious know these things?

It knows, I believe, because all of our subconsciouses, our higher-selves are connected and in communication all the time. We know how to send each other messages, how to help direct each other to the important lessons we need to learn in life.

If your subconscious wants you to see the number 34, then it is trying to tell you something. But what?

Well, from reading through the many posts here, we can get some idea; most seem to not know; they are just confused, because they are at the seeking stage. That is how they found this website. Others are frightened, or get a strong fear message from 34, but they are in the minority, and I think that is just their social programming kicking in. Others get a positive feeling from seeing the number. I am one of these.

3 is a power number, the number of wishes in fairy tales. It is the number of this reality. We are 3rd Density, (look that up), moving to 4th Density. (Look that up too). Together, 3 + 4 = 7, which is the number of union with God; the highest level of reality.

The number for me, when I see it, tells me I am on the right track, or that I should pay attention.

When you see the number come up, try this. . .

Stop and consider what you were just thinking about, what your intentions were in that moment, what you were doing, and how those things fit with your life path; the thing you know deep inside is the right thing for you to be doing in this life time.

Many of us are here with specific mission profiles; we are here to change and anchor the vibrational frequency of this reality so that it does not resonate with fear and anxiety and hate. We are here to be brave and to explore the world and to live our lives in strong, confident and loving ways. We are here to live the path of compassion and joy and knowledge.

34 is connected to these things.

Do not fear it; it is your own mind, the best parts of your mind, telling you that you are on the right path, encouraging you forward.

My advice is to trust in yourself, to know yourself, to fight the negative aspects of your ego, to seek knowledge.

  • Music question: is the frequency difference between the 8 octaves constant?

What I'm wondering is this: when you sing the music-words, "Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti Do", and if you start the scale with Do being, say, 400 Htz, does each note graduate to the next by a constant increase in frequency, or does it vary? --I'm reading a very interesting book which is touching on music theory and the claim is being made that the difference between the notes on the Do Re Mi scale is not a regular thing. This seems really weird and counter-intuitive to me.

I'm not a music guy at all and there's probably something I'm missing, (and I'm not even sure if I'm using the term, "Octave" correctly), so if somebody can fill me in with some hard details, it would be appreciated!

    Thanks!

  • Christians: How do you reconcile spousal abuse?

I just read this article and found myself astonished by it.

    http://www.religiondispatches.org/archive/1007/bib...

It brought back a flood of memories from ten years ago. A woman I knew who nearly died as a result of abuse left the psychopath who regularly beat her. But when she worked up the courage to ask for help, her church, virtually her entire social network, seemingly wholesome Ned Flanders types, threw her out and rallied support around the smiling lunatic. Luckily, she got away and found help at a woman's shelter, but not before suffering broken bones, internal injuries and a wrecked spirit.

  • How much mind-share is Israel winning?

The attacks on Gaza continue, UN resolutions go ignored, over 200 children killed, Red Cross and UN envoys and shelters attacked, the Vatican just described Gaza as resembling a huge 'concentration camp'. --And Jews both in Israel and around the world have staged protests against their own government. All in all, a public relations nightmare for Zionists. --To counter ill-will from around the world, the Israeli push on the internet has been well-coordinated and wide-spread, with several clever semantic arguments which we've all no doubt heard by this point.

My question is this: How effective has this campaign been? Is Israel winning the psy-ops war? Have you been convinced of Israel's moral upper ground in this massacre?

  • Can You Please Tell me Your Favorite Songs?

I want to put together a CD for my sweetie. She's a wonderful person, very positive and charismatic, with a very deep insight into people and the world, constantly blowing me away with the things she understands and sees. I'm totally in love with her; we've been going out for a few years now, and the last time I put together a CD of music I thought she'd like, she DID; she loved it, played it in her car for months until it finally got scratched and lost.

Anyway, my music-fu is pretty lame, and it took a lot of work and most of a year to find amazing songs which would surprise her, (she's more plugged into music and knows a lot more than I do about it.) I even pulled a couple of tracks from some obscure anime I remember liking when I was younger. --So what I wanted to do before Christmas is find another list of great music she won't have heard before but which will be really awesome and special for her to discover, except I've been at it for a month now and my list is pretty sparse.

So. . . Everybody has at least a handful of songs which are their special faves. Please tell me some of your picks. I'd really appreciate it. New or old, but semi to completely obscure is best. Any style or genre within the basic song format, (classical music isn't what I'm looking for on this project). --Though a cool dance track or two might be good. They don't have to be necessarily happy songs. This is a person who loves stuff from Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman and Bob Dylan all the way to today's popular radio music.

    Thank you so much!

  • Max temperature of Electric Blanket?

I need to know what temperature is reached by a basic electric blanket on the highest setting.

All I can find are vague terms offered by the sales literature like, "Warm" and "Cozy". I need useful numbers in F or C, but I can't seem to find this information anywhere. --Not in any of the user manuals or safety reports I've searched through on-line. Does anybody have this information?

    Thank-you.
