for the last week now (Oct 2014) my JVC stereo amplifier when turned on every morning will be at any previous volume setting (vol. 1-15) and it has a maximum of 50 which I never use. Though for that last week when it starts up while showing on the LED Vol. 1 the sound in my speakers will all be sounding at vol. 50 while still showing vol. 1. The reciever is roughly 10 years old or less, and I'm not interested in paying $600+ on a new one when I bought this one for only 300 or so.

Hello I live in Canada and am now being bothered by "non existent" solicitors.

I know that they're playing a random number game and I'm sure it's illegal but it's NOT illegal if the authorities (RCMP, Police, FBI) won't do anything to help you unless there's a death threat. Does anyone know if there's something being done about this?

situation is I've taken to calling back a few of the displayed numbers on my phone to ask them not to call ever again, resulting in the operator from either america or Canada to say "we're sorry the number you have dialed is NOT in service" Though if I were to reach someone and cancel that would only get them off your case but they'd spread your number to other solicitors. Grrr this is agrivating.

I swear it was duckman, where there was a song the cast and crew sang " Hick a bick a boo my dear, hick a bick a booo" anyone know it?

a friend of mine once let me borrow his system with a game he himself was borrowing that had you play as a barbarian I think. it had a world map and each town had a dungeon or arena where you would fight in turn based action sequences. Now that I have Xbox360 I want to buy it myself but I don't recall the name. I had lots of fun with it. and NO it wasn't Colosseum which was like the movie Gladiator. this was Turn based, though it came out roughly the same time.

this is getting real annoying.

Almost every day now sometimes twice a day we'll get some telemarketer/Auto dialer calling our number and we don't pick up leaving it to our machine. But lately it's been getting so bad that if we don't pick up then the answering machine can be heard calling them instead and when our machine doesn't get anyone we hear the auto operator say "Please hang up and try your call again" and then a VERY VERY LOUD busy signal for 2 minutes unless we pick up the phone and hang up again.

since our machine still answers correctly for some I doubt its a problem with our machine. Please anyone else at least have this same problem? I hope someone knows a work around other than calling these people back adding my number to their personal list of do not calls then they add our numbers to 2 or more other telemarketers lists. GRRRRRR this is really invasive and annoying

in the limited amount episodes I watched of the original series of Yu-gi-Oh. Yugi sure seemed to like saying "Oh no!" so how many times do you figure he said this even though he won nearly EVERY time. lol

I've gone to the site read the computer logs, gone into the excavation and killed the 8 Husks or at least I hope it was all 8 they charged me and I didn't bother counting while I was fighting. and now I'm left with nothing to do. The cave is empty and there's 2 doors at the back that are locked and a caged looking rock in the middle. I've walked all around the cave and nothing shows up as interactive, and NO 11 extra husks attack. please help thanks. I think I've glitched this mission.

browsing places for example Facebook Albums and I open up a picture ever so rarely and find a strange random line on the image. the thumbnail doesn't show this line is how I know its bad. Please help I believe its something to do with my connection but I'm on some Highspeed DSL thing near Toronto Canada.

any solutions would be nice thanks

I recently got my Xbox 360 connected to Windows Media Center in Windows 7.

disconnected my 360 from WMC after I found I can't listen to my music while playing games. So now I've gone and re-installed Winamp remote/Orb. But wait I can't get my 360 to locate Orb 36q24264d etc... it just says REMIERES -PC:remieres. and when I try to connect to this it says that my 360 isn't enabled on my PC. I've checked and the only thing that enables the 360 besides my Firewall (which is configured properly btw) is Windows media Center.

I recently got my WMC working by specifying the IP address of my 360 in my Firewall "ZA:SS 9" I'm not willing to change Firewalls thanks. I've re-installed ZA no dice. re-installed Orb, re-installed winamp. Not sure what I'm missing. before I changed to windows 7 and was on WinXP I had no hassle I just installed Orb and enabled my PC IP and away I went. GRRRRR. Why do people have to make things difficult.

I'm considering buying a new External Hard drive or using one I have.

but I'd like to know if I can use it for more than Movies, Music and Pic's. I mean I only have a 20/17 Gig Xbox HD right now and I'm constantly cleaning it up to make room.

So I'd like to know whether or not I can store DLC on these things Provided it is compatible in the first place?

I'm betting no but I don't want to spend the $90-200 and find out that it's hardly worth it.

trying to figure out if its possible to flip the video horizontaly. I'm riddled with a video project that has words written backwards (BTW its an old 1930's vintage film that's been digitized) what function in PS12 or what plug-in is needed? I'm not going to go out and buy PS14 or 13 or what ever.

I"m not talking about adding removing people. I'm talking about changing what the people in those lists that I already have (eg. friends, others, family) can see or show in my home page.

I'm getting tired of having my homepage filled with soooo much personal information from aquantances I play games with who are not actual friends. I mean I don't need to hear 2 or more girls chit chat about a picture of shoes they baught and I only see shoes as something to wear outside.

so where is this option now? please help I've looked this up but its extremely limited and doesn't list the lists I want to change.

I know I can just make a new list but I should not have to.

Had an accident on my scooter, chronic leg pain in my left outer thigh. starting from my leg socket all the way down to the top of my knee. I've seen my doctor and he ordered X-rays but of course he doesn't find anything wrong because I'm not feeling anything like a break. and since he's being lazy in his analysis I'd like someone to help me before I spend the fortune to see a physio therapist or Chiropractor. (BTW living in Canada that's why it hasn't cost me a fortune already)

No swelling. no bone pain, it just feels like something sharp sticking into my muscles or tendons. I've tried doing some stretches and more than half the time they make it worse the next day. Pain killers don't seam to help, only when I'm sitting does the pain go away or if it by some miracle just doesn't appear ( meaning that some days I'll not have any pain and thank Jesus it's gone)

I've thought before it had to do something with the pressure I'm putting on my foot while standing but often I'll lean against a wall and lift that leg off the ground completely for some time, still the pain persists. I've often thought this pain will lead me to using a cane early on in my life (only 28 yrs old) but since lifting my leg doesn't relieve the pain I doubt this will help anything but my balance.

I feel I may have left some symptom out but for now all I know is Jabbing PAIN! every day but not all day every day just most of EVERY day unless I'm lucky (Capitols are replacing Bold font so don't think I'm trying to be rude please thanks)

nearly all dreams I have where I'm driving (not the passenger) my dream self either can't seam to get the breaks to work or seams I cant control the dream to hit the break at all.

any ideas? and again I seriously dont believe in dream analysis but since it happens too often I'm intersted in trying to change this via face my fear stuff.

so no superstitious ideas I'm only intersted in the psychology etc...

my house fan which is one of the 3-5 ft standing ones takes aprox. 5 minutes or more to get started. Meaning that when I turn the fan on with one of the 3 speeds it shows the propellers moving so slow you have to watch it to see if its even on.

I baught this thing for cheap and I am going to replace it but thats not the issue. I'd like to repair this one not throw it away or destruct it.

so please anyone know why it's slow? I believe I once put grease on the wheel to try and make it go faster but nothing helped.

My windows live messenger 2009 (14.xxxxx) won't remember my login information after I check off (remember my login) every time I boot windows it needs to be inputted back in.

I've unchecked the options under, Security,

read somewhere that if I create another windows account and use windows live there successfully then I need to transfer my info from "Documents and Settings" between accounts. I don't know if I did this right but its still not working.

I so far love this new version of WLM but I've been recieving a few sex bots recently.

I prefer to allow friends to find me and ask to add me, but it seams that only these Web sex bots keep finding me and its irritating me.

I dont want to block and report them before I add them because they dont show up as (name: XXX Charlene XXX) they show up as Name:Charlene

So I have the common courtesy to try and talk to them. but now I've had to adapt to this crap and get the first line in on any of the conversations.

eg. WARNING the moment you ask me my A/S/L or show me a picture of yourself or send me to any advertisement site you will be deleted and reported. failure to provide valid Human interaction in search of a friend within 3 days will result in the same deletion and Reporting.

I realize that my leaving my contact info on the web is what got me in this mess in the first place but I wish to know if there's a do not allow friend invite option?

gods name is not god in my opinion, its his title but not a name.

so why do we say that your taking gods name in vain if you say god XXXX ???

I know its not good to say this and thats not what I'm asking, I'm asking what is the logic and explanation for god being the name?

Jesus is the name of my god, or Yahweh. (not Jehovah, Allah, etc...)
