just completed my 1st month in a new job, my wages are 16k per annum. I havnt paid tax for 8 years previously. N.I has been taken from my wages. I know i have tax free allowance of £7470 ish per annum, but i assumed the remaining tax would be averaged out over the 12 months.

I worried that because iv paid £0 tax this month, im gonna get a huge hit of tax out my wages (more than a months worth of tax) in the coming month(s) . Anyone think i should be worried?

its a pay monthly package, also will they send me a warning letter if i dont pay or just fine me?

I'm a bit short of money at the moment, so on the 31st January i phoned my car insurance company and asked them to suspend my insurance. They told me the direct debit request for February had been sent on the 29th January, which they couldn't stop, and would be taken from my bank account on the 1st February and i would later bee refunded that amount.

Today i received a letter in the post telling me they would hold the payment and use it when i continue the policy or use it towards a cancellation fee if I don't unsuspend the policy. The policy ends in June!

The reason i cancelled is because im on benefits and just don't have the money to afford this right now. Anything i can do?

iv seen a Happy Mondays Greatest Hits album in the shops which made me think did they actually have any hits apart from that one with the silly dancing in the video. So is there any other Music Artists who claim to have Greatest Hits when infact they couldn't even fill 1 or 2 album with good tunes?

my niece loves Nikki Minaj so i thought id buy her the album. My horror when i hear a song about pooing and weeing on another human made me angry. What was the thinking behind putting a song like this on the album? It's going to cost her many sales. I for one am taking it back for an exchange.
