I have been using a ZyXel VSG1432-b101 router given to me by Cincinnati Bell (my ISP) for about 1.5 years. Recently, a lot of new internet connections around my crowded apartment complex have made the 2.4 ghz connection too crowded & there are no wifi channels that I can consistently connect to. My connection will be online for a few minutes (less if I am watching YouTube), then it will suddenly disconnect & make it very troublesome to get work done for school. So I was reading online about how I should use a dual band 2.4/5 ghz router to avoid this problem & I bought a Linksys N600 E2500 but I have been having some troubles setting it up. A few miscellaneous details: I cannot use an ethernet cable on my mac, I have no interest in doing so, there is no range problem, as my apartment is rather small so that is not a problem, I have tried customer support with Cincinnati bell, but they have been useless (however, if there is something specific I can call & ask them to do, that is reasonable.), I have tried just about everything there is, but I am new to this and I dont know exactly what the right settings would be

Do I have to bridge my zyxel router to be able to set up an access point with my linksys router? If so, what settings should I apply? I will post pictures of what the options are from the "broadband" section.

Do I have to use PPPoe? How do I do this specifically and how do I obtain the login info?

I have an exam at 5pm and I am desperate to figure this stuff out, I have no idea how to calculate the final velocity...would you use the w=w(o) + at equation??

So I'm studying for my PCAT and I came across this question and figured it was essential I learn (or re-learn) how to do this as I'm sure this will be on the test.

Which of the following represents a solution set for 2x^2-19x=33

The answer and question choices are irrelevant, the answer (which I came up with by plugging and chugging) was (-1.5,11)

My real question is, how to do the factoring/simplifying they showed in the review.

They set it up like this:

2x^2-19x=33

-33

2x^2-19x-33=0

then

(2x+3)(x-11)=0

Now I remember doing things like that my freshman year in high school but it has been such a long time, I'd like to know how to do this type of factoring(is that what you call it even?), like what "formula" can I go by that will give me those number that work on any problem.

I vaguely remember it having something to do with the middle number and setting up some type of square, but I can't figure it out. Thanks!

On a new Jekyll temperature scale, water freezes at 17degJ and boils at 97degJ. On another new temperature scale, the Hyde scale, water freezes at 0degH and boils at 120degH.

I'm going into AP chemistry next year and these are a few of the questions on the summer homework. I need someone to help me walk through these problems, I've already tried both of them I just need to know what I'm doing wrong.

Q) A solid white substance A is heated strongly in the absence of air. It decomposes to form a new white substance B & a gas C. The gas has exactly the same properties as the product obtained when carbon is burned in excess of oxygen. Based on these observations, can we determine whether solids A & B & the gas C are elements or compounds? Explain your conclusion for each substance.

-I'm really stumped on this one. I tried to set up some sort of reaction like "a delta-> b + c" & also "C + O delta-> c" but it's getting me nowhere.

Q)Calculate the mass of O2 produced if 2.50g KClO3 are completely decomposed by heating.

-I set up a percent composition problem and got the molar masses of each element in the compound. K=39.1g Cl=35.5g and O3=48g. I then added them up and got a total of 122.55g. I divided the mass of O2(32g) by 122.55g and got .03264. Then, I multiplied that number with 2.50g and got .0816g as an answer. I'm not sure if this is correct.

Okay, so one day I was on the Cydia app on my jailbroken iPod trying to download a new theme(I hadn't even started the download yet) and my iPod just freezes up and eventually turns off and shows the usb-itunes thing alerting you that you need to plug it into a computer. So, since my computer wasnt working at the time I decided to go to a friends house to use Blackra1n, he had a firewall on his computer on blackra1n.com so we had to use a blackra1n download from megaupload, i use it and it says it runs but all it did was show Frodo's face for like 15minutes then a white screen, eventually I get annoyed with the white screen so i hold power and home for 10 secs and it shuts off, then i try to charge it and nothing comes up, but when i plug it into a computer it still reads the device but nothing comes up on the ipod and blackra1n still wont work, so i went on itunes and it says I can recover it but i will have to upgrade to the latest version(i was on 3.1.3 at the time)

Is their ANY other way i can recover my iPod without it updating or can someone tell me how using itunes?
