This site is filled with questions like "I have a fever, should I go to a hospital?" "I bit my lip, is it infected? If it is I'm going to a hospital." "I coughed twice yesterday. Will I die if I don't go to a hospital?"

Why would anyone go to a hospital for those little things? Infections heal by themselves, same thing with a fever. Coughing's normal. I don't understand why would you just do that? Especially, when hospitals in America are so goddamn expensive! What's wrong with those people? Are they so safety concerned that they want to show their zits to doctor to make sure they don't die? Stop going to a hospital if there is no real need to.

Basically, I was just about to go to sleep, but then I noticed that I forgot my phone's charger at work; meaning my phone would run out of batteries during the night. I don't have an alarm clock, other than my phone. I tried to look around for an USB-cable to charge my phone through my pc. I could only find the Ps3's USB cable, which is too large for my phone. Long story short; the only way I'm gonna make it to work tomorrow is to stay up this whole night. I don't have energy drinks or coffee in my bedroom, so that's not an option. I have a computer and a Ps3 in my room, I also have books and old comics. What are the best things to do so I don't fall asleep by accident?

I have them both on Pc and I don't understand why people complain about them. They're both on my "Top 10 favorite games"-list and the second one is also on my "Top 15 funniest games"-list. They're both extremely funny and great games! People tend to complain about the amount of violence in them, but I don't see a problem. I love the executions, they're so funny and well done, yet everybody else I know almost throws up whenever I make them play these games (I have "more blood" mod on both games. I also have the extended, original, uncut executions on the second game.) Don't you people have any sense of humor? Come on...

This has been going on for a while now. I can recognize hearing two general voices that always come back (a male voice with a funny accent and a really annoying female voice) and sometimes there's a third voice, that's never the same person. They start off by being nice and supportive, trying to convince me they're not evil. Immediately when I answer them, they get a demonic tone telling me to hurt and kill people, animals and (rarely) myself. I've been able to not do what they tell me but I have a feeling that my strenght's about to run out. About two days ago the female voice said that she'll start screaming if I don't run over a little kid with my car. She did start screaming and the male voice kept laughing. Her voice got a bit quieter when I started to rev the engine. When I popped the clutch and started speeding towards that kid, she stopped screaming and kind of just waited. In the last moment I realized what I was doing and managed to sway onto the oncoming lane and miss the kid. I locked myself in my apartment after that because I didn't want to be around people when I finally give up and do as they tell me. I managed to start my Pc up and write this question without them noticing, but I can sense their presence nearby, they know what I'm doing. They've threatened to kill me if I tell anyone about them. What should I do?

I have a few symptoms related to schizophrenia, I'm just wondering if they're enough to get me some treatment. My symptoms are;

1. Paranoia. I always have this funny feeling I'm being watched or followed, but I'm usually able to cope with this one just fine.

2. Hallucinations. Not very severe, but sometimes when I'm home alone I think I see fast moving shadows from the corner of my eye. Sometimes I hear footsteps. Sometimes I hear people calling my name and begging for help.

3.Blank spots in memory, or rather Shattered Memory. I remember what I've done, but I can't remember when.

I'm not really scared but rather curious.

I'm living there, currently, and I'd like to know what do you kniow about it WITHOUT using Google.

I've been agnostic atheist for a few years now and after they found out about it, it's been constant hell. They come to my door every friggin day with their magazines and flyers and stuff. All they do is preach to me about god and jesus and some other dudes whose names I can't remember. I've told them not to bother me anymore, but they're still trying to turn me to their religion, saying "this is the only way to salvation." I don't give a damn about salvation, when I die I fu**ing die, there's no afterlife. They still don't leave me alone, it's like they can't live happily anymore unless I change my religion and start believing in god. I've threatend to call cops on them but according to them freedom of speech and religion protects them. I know they have the right to believe whatever they want but I'm going to report this as a harrasment to the cops unless you guys give me a better idea. And if there's any Jehova's Witnesses reading this, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend you personally and I'm sure there are good guys among Jehova's witnesses too but these particular Witnesses are getting on my damn nerves. Help, please?

There are tons of questions on this site regarding religion "is it okay to marry a hindu?", "is it okay to masturbate?", "is it okay to drink water?". Don't take me wrong, I'm not mocking religious people, I'm just wondering why america is so religious compared to, let's say northern Europe (I grew up there). Religion seems to be so big deal to Americans, almost everything they do has something to do with religion, while if there's an atheist somewhere he's gonna get mocked and beaten (in worst case scenario). I don't really understand this. I've been Agnostic for years now and I never understood the whole concept of religion; blindly believing in something supernatural that has no real evidence. I know it's personal thing and I have nothing against it, but why is it so important in America to be religious? Thank you

I live on my own now and for the past few weeks I've noticed that my apartment gets very dirty instead of clean. I don't understand what's causing this since when I lived at home my room was never dirty, it was always clean when I returned home after school. But now my stuff doesn't get back on the shelves, my rugs don't get dusted etc. Why isn't my apartment working correctly? Is it this caused by the location? Why isn't it cleaning itself?

I'm 17 years old Canadian student, and I've already been through puberty so it's not it. Yesterday when I woke up my "wiener" had red bumbs on. It wasn't painful, though, so I just let it be. When I returned to my apartment the bum bumbs had grown bigger. Still no pain. So I played some Halo and CODBO with my roommate for a couple of hours, then I made my homework and cooked some mac 'n' cheese. This morning the bumbs had grown even bigger and this time they hurt. It wasn't something I can't take but still I was worried. Is this some sort of infection, or is it related to my diet or something. I eat 3 times a day; breakfast, snack and dinner which I cook myself. My breakfast usually consists of bread and cereal (sometimes even pancakes or waffles if I have time to cook in the morning) and I drink juice, milk and black coffee with it. The snack is usually another cup of coffee with something salty such as a piece of bread or a donut (last week I had fries with black coffee. Odd combination, but it tasted very good) The dinner is the largest meal of the day. I cook it myself and it's usually something simple like mac 'n' chees or soup. I try to balance my diet so I don't gain much weight. If I have extremely unhealthy breakfast (pancakes or waffles) the snack and the dinner will be healthier. I work out at the gym once a week to keep my weight in control. I also go jogging often. I'm 6 foot 2 and 153 lbs. if that matters. So what's causing these bumbs? Are they dangerous? Is it something I should worry about? Also I do masturbate quite often but due to these bumbs I didn't have the nerve to do it in the last few days. Help?

I want to buy a Call of Duty game for my pc and I have to make a decision between Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. Which one should I get? Storywise and multiplayerwise. Please don't tell me to get Black Ops or Modern Warfare 3 because my computer can't play those due too high system requirements. So it's either MW or MW2. Which one?

To be honest, she's a true as*hole and I want to know why. Here are few examples of things she did; she doesn't let my friend Mike come over because he's African American and we're Caucasians. She's always telling me to "kick the shi*" out of Mike because he's "criminal and a junkie" which is not true. Mike gets very depressed by this and I feel bad for him. She also broke my car on purpose. I drive a manual because I like it better than automatic. My mom said she wanted to "try it out if it's any better". So, we got into the car and I tell her how to drive manual. It went suprisingly good until she asked what would happen if she changed the gear without pressing the clutch. So I told her it's actually possible if the engine's rev is in the exactly right point. She grinned slighly and RAMMED THE GEAR FROM 5th TO 2nd WITHOUT EVEN RELEASING THE ******* GAS! The car started to make a horrible noise and suddenly the shift stick went loose. Like the car would have been on neutral. Mechanic said the the gearbox was samshed to shi* and it would cost very much to get it fixed. My mom said she wouldn't pay it. She's also a two-faced hypocrite. Our neighbor is an old British woman (mrs. Dolittlerockwell or something) She got sick and had to go to the hospital. My mom visited her in the hospital, and when mom came home home she started laughing and telling me how weak and dry our neighbor had become. I was shocked. SHE LAUGHED AT AN OLD WOMAN BECAUSE SHE'S IN THE HOSPITAL FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! Then she killed Dolittlerockwell's flowers just for fun! How can I make her stop? She's like a troll without internet! And when I ask her about this she calls me "a damn hippy" (my hair is to my eyebrows and a bit curly) and tells me to go away. I mean, what the hell can I do?
