I recently went to a garage to have a flat tyre on my alloy replaced.

I had the tyre changed and the next day I noticed the tyre was flat again.

I went back to the garage and complained but they stated there was a crack in my tyre therefore it was not their fault and they would not refund or replace the tyre.

I believe they should have noted the crack in the first place, and if they did not it is either through incompetance or because it was not there and was caused by the faulty tyre.

What rights do I have for a refund and/or compensation?

Hey everyone, I have enrolled with National Home Study on a criminology course and I am having real problems with their customer service, written work and them taking double the money from me!

So far they have sent me out a shocking folder full of writing that is out of date and even has spelling errors!

They have taken the money from me for the course twice! They did email me back to say the second time was an error and promised the money back within 24 hours, 2 weeks on still no refund

I've rang them and emailed them about twice a day and received no phone call that I keep asking for, got one email back not answering my questions

When I call the receptionist is possibly the rudest person I've ever spoken to but when I ask for her name she says and I quote 'I don't give that out, goodbye' THEN PUTS THE PHONE DOWN!!!

Has anyone had same problem with these guys?

Would watchdog be interested?

I've looked on other forums and seriously people in their masses has responded with complaints almost identical to mine

p.s. I tried to call accounts department but the receptionist point blank refuses to let me speak with them. I don't think it's a scam as I work for the police and it was the police that paid for it for me!!! They know this so surely they wouldn't be that stupid to try and scam a police force! lol

I am looking to buy a small convertible for a couple of years with low mileage. I saw the MG convertibles and think they are nice but I was wondering if the soft top roofs are automatic from within the car? So Can I just press a button or do I actually need to get out and do it?

What about the newer versions from 2004 are they all the same?

I have made a dvd slideshow for my aunts birthday that includes people talking, pictures with backround music and text on the pictures.

So how many minutes can the dvd hold maximum? Just a regular blank disc that you would use for music

Also will it only let me burn a shorter amount of time because ive included text and music in some places? How will i know before hand?

I don't want to set it all up then press burn to find out halfway through that the disc wont hold as much as I want it to!

I was wondering in Orlando, Florida can a child ride on an adults lap with a seat belt secured around them both in a vehicle?

I live in UK and you are allowed a child over a certain height to sit on your lap with seat belt around you both if you don't have a childs seat. The reason I ask is because I am going to Florida in October and we are hiring vehicles, they are trying to charge over £150 for one childs seat and we have two children coming! So it would be cheaper to buy one over there instead but we will need to drive the car to the shop first to pick up the car seat so that would mean the two children riding on adults laps for the short journey to the shop and don't want to get pulled over for this so need to check first.

Other than this, is there any shops in Orlando Int airport that we could go buy car seats before we leave? I know its a long shot but we gotta try!!!

I had my vehicle services the other day and they said I needed anti freeze, brake fluid and wheel alignment. I am going to get my wheel alignment done next week and have been quoted about £30 in Bedfordshire is this a good price?

Also I will get some antifreeze on Monday but will my car be ok until then, it was minus 7 last night and I drove it this morning and it seems fine. What happens to cars when they dont have anti freeze?

My kitten is only 9 weeks old and so lovely and cuddly, when he is tired he'll jump up onto my shoulder and get comfy and then start purring like mad. This is all normal and you can see he is quite content but then when I start petting/stroking him he starts mewing. It's not like a cry like he is in pain or anything, just sounds like he is meowing to remind me he is there or something but I keep thinking is it because he likes me stroking him or because he wants me to stop or something. Has anyone experienced this before?

I have just bought Bob Martins worming treatment for my 8 week old kitten and it comes with two little tubes of solution that you put on the back of their head so they cant lick it, the only problem is there are two tubes and it says no where on the instructions of when the second tube should be given! I have tried to look but it is not very clear and I don't want to wait 3 months and risk him getting worms but then I don't want him to get two lots too soon!

It says that the original walt disney Cinderella movie was released on dvd in 2005 as a platinum edition. So why is it so hard to get hold of now? I'm looking to buy it for my collection but not to pay over £30 for it! UK only please! Thanks

My channel 4 on our Sky has been choppy for the last few weeks. The picture always remains on the screen but sometimes freezes for a second and then jumps ahead, its happened on my mums aswell and she's about 20 miles away from me.

Its on our sky plus box downstairs and our normal sky box upstairs. It's driving me mad as I watch Channel 4 the most! The weirdest thing is if you watch Channel 4 +1 it works fine!!! Help

I had my hair permed last week, it looks awful the curls have fallen out and it just looks frizzy plus when I run my fingers through my hair I can feel small patches where the hair is growing back as if the hair has been singed away. You cant see this damage but you can feel the patches all over but very small.

They are trying to fob me off and give me more treatments free of charge or a re do of the perm and saying that the perm is really good but I just want my money back! I dont want to cause a scene, have I got rights? Any links or past experiences would help!?

I got a card through the door to say that the parcel had been left outside by the bin but it wasnt there (been stolen probably) so I will contact sender so that they can claim and I get it resent. But this has happened before a couple of times where stuff just hasnt turned up and I dont want them to investigate me for fraud or anything!

I am looking to purchase a telephoto lens for my Canon 400D digital SLR, I believe a lower f number is better but the Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro len is cheaper than the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS Lens! Why is this as I thought the larger the mm the more you could zoom in so the better?

TradeJournals are sent out to all different industries for different purposes but who actually creates these and sends them out to the individual businesses?
