  • question about temperary child custody?

my husband showed up at my house, to pick my 3 kids up for a visit, we had split up 6 weeks ago, and we have no papers on custody yet. he never brought them back. it turns out that he filed for temp. custody and a divorce, in a different county than we live, i went down and filed in the right county, my question is, does my order over power his? and will i most likely get my kids back, if im the one who has taken care of them from birth till now, while he was always gone at work. do I need my own home, and income to get them back? because he was the one who worked, and i was a stay at home mom? thank you for your advice, and answers

  • Why do religious people take the holy books so literal

I believe that all religions on earth, are inspired by God, and all are precious to God, and all are necessary to the world, because each one has something that someone needs to get closer to God.

We all know that man had added in and edited the holy books to fit their views and agendas. I was just wondering why people take the book so literal, instead of reading between the lines to see God's word.

God does not have only one way to him (like man wrote in the bible), there are many. I know that God does not require us to live by religions standard. But just to love others, and help anyway we can for man kind. God bless all of you.

  • is missouri a good place to raise kids and affordable

my husband got a good job offer in kansas city missouri. I do not want to live in the actually city, but would love to live in a rural area around the city, maybe in a town not too far away. my ex mother in law is telling me horror stories about missouri, ecpecially kansas city area. she says its more expensive to live in than california except for the housing. she said the utility bills are really high compared to california (where I am now) and that it is a poverty stricken state, and the crime rate is bad, and that they do not have finacial help for people who need it, like medi-cal or any programs for low income families (I do not need any of them, but she did when she lived in mo.) is this true? or is she lying to me to get me to stay? she also said that the people that live in missouri do not know any better, and thats why they stay there. and will my spiritualism be accepted there? thank you for your help

  • what areas of kansas city mo. are good to raise kids, and is affordable

my ex mother in law is telling me horror stories of missouri. she is from there, and says I will hate it. she said that the crime rate is very bad, that it is more expensive than california (where I am from, and live now) except for housing. she said its a poverty stricken state, and that they do not have any finacial assitance for families like california does ( I dont need it anyways, but she did when she was here 29 years ago I might add). my husband found a really good job there, that he is supposed to start in september. it makes more than he makes now in california, and my husbands mom is saying its cheaper all around. is what my ex mother in law saying true? or is she trying to get me to stay.

  • Is missouri a good place to raise kids in

My husband found a really good Job in missouri. it pays better than he makes now in california. we have 4 kids, and Im scared to move them to another state. I have been in california all my life, and want a change. my mom and my sons other grandmother is from missouri, and say I will hate it. my sons grandma says its a poverty stricken state, and there is no financial help for low income families(which is what she was when she was there) that the crime rate is very high, and the utility bills are much higher than in california. she said everything is more expensive than california, but the housing is cheaper. is this true? or is she lying to get me to stay. we were thinking of moving to lee's summit or other areas like that. what would be some good areas to look at, that is fairly close to where my husbands new job will be in kansas city? I dont want to live in kansas city, but want a quiet rural neighborhood with good schools and low crime rate. thank you so much for your help

  • Does it make you mad?

that we have to pay to take a hike in nature, see God's miracles, like the Grand canyon, etc. God made this earth for all of us, why should we have to pay to see it. it belongs to all of us. Its just wrong.

  • why do you think God made men (in general) so mean and evil, and more like animals?

Why didnt he make them more sensitive and loving, like women?

Im not saying all men are mean, and not saying all women are good, but in general, its true.

I think that there needs to be evil in the world for us to learn from. What do you think?

  • Do you think that imagination is probably one of the most damaging words in the dictionary?

people through out history, has denied miracles, and visions of spirits, and messeges from God. claiming it to be their imagination. Gods answers and our own psychic ability, get pushed aside, just believing it to be imagination. So, do you think its a dangerous word, leaving us less spiritual, and less likely to hear Gods answers?

  • Christians: according to you, Will I go to hell?

I am probably one of the nicest people you could ever meet. I care very deeply for others, even strangers. I donate to charities, volunteer in a convalescent home. I love God and respect Jesus for what he did on this earth. I think Jesus was a very advanced soul, sent by God. But I do not believe that he was God, or was Gods son. I respect others religion, but I do not believe that organized religions are right. Too many things in religion and the bible, has been edited and changed so many times. I just know in my heart, that what I believe is right. and that God is all loving, and has no negative HUMAN qualities. I believe that there are many paths to God, and many different ways of finding him. gnosticism and spirituality is what I choose, because it makes the most sense to me.

I guess my question is, do Christians think I will go to hell, even if I am a really good person, help others, and love God, but do not believe that Jesus was who the bible says he was?

  • Why do Christians believe that Jesus was God's only begotten son?

What do you think we are? we are all Gods creations. We all have a certain chart to follow. Jesus is a mission life entity. His chart was more advanced than ours. But God loves us all the same. Jesus is not Gods only son, and he definately was not God himself. Just wondering if anyone know this, besides me.
