I just got a windows update that probably screwed up my F Keys. I've no other cause. When i play minecraft, F3 is a debug, F5 changes view, F11 makes it fullscreen, etc. Now, I doesw the built-in volume controls and other functions rather than what they have been doing. My keyboard also doesnt have an FN key, as it is not a laptop. What am I supposed to do?

I am getting a gift from Amazon and I want to know if there is some sort of list or label of what is in the box. I dont want the recipient, who lives with me, to know the contents in case I am not the one to get to the box first. Thanks!

Hi. I am having trouble with my mouse and keyboard not working. So here is my situation. First off, I installed Windows 8, but it never got activated because the code on my Windows 8 CD wouldn't work. So for about a 2 month period i used Windows 8 without activating it. Periodically, i would get updates, pretty normal. But i just got an update that, after updating, seemed to malfunction my mouse and keyboard. They wont even turn on. They are plugged in, and are practically brand new. I thought it might be part of the update, like maybe somehow that update did that because of me not activating my windows.

Will it slowly stop, or does it lock up the brakes, or what?

So here's the scoop. I got a new computer from Cyberpower PC with NO operating system. My reason is because i have a friend who has a friend who is good with computers and had a flash drive loaded with everything I would need to install Windows 8, saving me like 150 bucks. So I did as planned, and it didn't work. So I just bought windows 8 pro from best buy, and am now trying to install it. I'm installing it as an upgrade from the shitty one that didn't work. It keeps giving me a message that say it has encountered a problem or issue and needs to restart the whole process again and again and again. I don't know why. Can anyone help?

I have a dlink gaming router with the 110 mb/s download and 3 mb/s upload package. I have port forwarded my xbox exactly as microsoft tells you. It is also at high priority. So, I just don't know. Its an everyday thing for lag, so its not xbox servers or anything. Any ideas?

I use Google Chrome. I want to disable the feature where every picture i save from the internet doesn't pop up in microsoft picture manager. Thanks!

I have a router, computer, and xbox in the same room. The router is on a shelf above the computer desk, where the computer is. The xbox is about 10 feet from the router. I noticed that the connection on xbox live is good until the computer is being used at the same time. For example, I was playing a game with no lag, then we used the computer to look something up, and in the process the xbox connection to the game went A-wall. Could it be the placement? If this is any help, our download speed is around 15-16 mb/s, and 1 mb/s upload. Thanks for all help!

Like say I'm playing a song and want to record it. Not with like an external recorder, but is there any sort of software that records audio?

I was playing with my ipod, and all my buttons were working just fine. Then I went to press the menu button, and I heard the click sound in my headphones, but the menu didn't change. Im stuck on the music screen with the albums art. I don't think anything like a crumb got in it, since I can hear the click sound. But if theres a way to remove the wheel safely, I could check. But I don't see how the click sound could go off with out the menu changing...

I can google search stuff, but the suggested searches doesn't come down, it doesn't automatically search stuff when i start typing, and any link I click from google redirects to some stie called funk-search.net. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it? I have google chrome and I have no toolbars or extensions installed.
