I promise I am not trying to be offensive. I have always wondered this. To femme lesbians and butch gay men: Can you explain to me the attraction to the butch lesbians and effiminate men. I would think that if a man is attracted to another man, he is attracted to the characteristics that differentiate men from women, and likewise a lesbian would be attracted to the characteristics that differentiate women from men. I understand that these are simply characteristics of a traditional gender role, but still. I am a heterosexual male, and am attracted to feminine women, so logically I would think that a lesbian is attracted to the same. Is this not the case? I have never understood this. I see a handsome "manly" man with a femmy, flambouyant man, and I always wonder about it. Likewise I see a beautiful, feminine woman with a very butch woman and have the same reaction. Can someone break it down for me? Thanks. Really, I am not trying to be offensive or make any kind of point. Just curious.

I have made an odd observation, and I am curious about something: I have known 4 or 5 followers of the Wiccan mythology. Every single one of them has had a problem with drugs. Is this coincidental, do Wicca use drugs as part of their practices, or is there something about the beliefs that attracts drug users? I don't see this as commonly among followers of the Christ based mythologies, but that may just be because of the small number of Wicca as compared to other mythologies.
