My thermostat doesn't show the right temperature so the furnace won't work properly. I have it set for 75 and the house is 55 degrees! If I put the switch to the left then to the right again it makes the furnace come on for a few minutes. My landlord sent a guy over but he didn't do anything to change this situation. I have a picture of the thermostat, but can't post it here. My account is tofb 56 at gee mail if anyone wants to see the photo.

I have this heavy black extension cord, and it's 5/8" diameter and 100 feet long. Trying to sell it and need a rating for it.

It came on two days ago on my way home. I topped up the oil,thinking that was the problem, but it did not put the light out. The car seems fine, but I haven't driven it since. It is a 1997 Mercury grand marquis. It also has a "low washer fluid" light that is always on, no matter how full the tank is. Wondering if this car is known for unnecessary lights coming on for no reason.

Please, no criticism about my upkeep and laziness! My dead husband was in charge of the maintenance of the car, so give me a break

I have a 97 Marquis. For a while the heat was at the highest temperature, making it too hot in the car. Now there is no heat at all, only the fan and defrost work. Is the problem with the thermostat? I am not very handy with cars but could maybe fix it myself if it's easy to get at.

My dog got his ankle caught in the seatbelt and I had to cut him loose with my emergency seatbelt-cutting knife. The knife was meant for when we go off a bridge and land in the water and I'd need to cut myself loose, so at least i know it'll work in that situation. Anyway the seatbelt retracted into the nether regions of the back seat. How can I get it out myself?

I have this engine still in its crate inside my house, left behind by my husband who died while in the middle of building a truck from the ground up. Also have the frame for the truck, an 81 GMC short box, stripped, sandblasted and painted red. I wonder what that's worth as well. I'd hate to sell it to the scrapyard just for the weight's worth.

Lost my mp3 player. Decided to use my samsung phone for listening to my tunes. Downloaded albums and songs to phone but it'll only play the ones that claim mp3 status. How to change all that music over so I can listen to it?
