During my divorce my ex was ordered to pay me 7500.00 whihc was half of the credit card debt. Since he rarely worked and his credit sucked ( which thanks to him mine now does), all the cards were in my name with him just as an authorized user. Our debt was about 15,000. After the judgement against him, he has quit his job and has not paid his judgement against him to me. My lawyer says there is nothing i can do until he goes to work and i can garnish his wages. That these cases are easy to get the judgement but hard to collect the money. I have since negoiatated with all 4 companies and paid these cards off by doing a settlement with them, I paid in full about 50% total of what we due as each company offered me a different settlement amount. I heard that if i owed ( liabilities) more than i owned ( assets) at the time of the divorce that i do not have to claim this income and file these 1099cs i have read about..is there any truth to that??..i sure hope so...

For Christmas day we all bring a crock pot of soup over and homemades breads so people can come and go and eat as they feel like it..This year I am having a hard time deciding what kind of soup to make...I dont want something like a squash, or pumpkin, or tortialla soup or anything like that. I would like to make a soup that everyone of all ages will enjoy, that will be filling , and taste much better than canned soup. It can be a basic soup as long as it is tasty..any ideas/recipes would be appreciated as i have a few ideas, but would like to see what others suggest..thanks and Merry Christmas....

For about the past 6 months i have had horrible aches in my shoulders and arms at bedtime and throughtout the night. Its almost daily so i know its not from straining them or anything such as that....After finally getting to sleep i wake up about every few hours with pain and/or numbness from my shoulder down to my fingertips. It is in both arms, not just one in particular, and is not always the arm that i am sleeping on....Last night i even took some darvocet ( that i have for migraines) and they did not help much. I have heard of restless leg syndrome, and was wondering if this can be the same but just occuring in the arms and shoulders...anyone else living with this constant pain and many sleepless nights?? any helpful hints??? thanks....

i am christmas shopping for my 11 yr old son and he has the xbox but now wants either the xbox360 or the wii. He is bored with xbox and sint sure which would be best between the wii or 360. The kinds of games he likes on xbox are halo, mario, far cry, ghost recon and games like that. he also has ps2 and sega so we are not interested in any of those...do you think the wii will be coming out with more games, they looked limited last time i checked...which system do you like best and why???

we live in kansas and recelntly bought some caladium bulbs ( tubers) for our flower bed. The package says to plant in our area in march/april. can we plant them now for next year or to get a late start on them this season or are they just pretty much useless this late in the season..?????????

we just bought a used upright deep freeze freezer, it looks perfectly clean on the inside but has a horrible stinky, musty old food smell that I cant get rid of. I have tried baking soda, bleach wwater and orange cleaner. It is so bad i gag when cleaning it and we cannot think of even plugging it in to add food until the gross smell is gone..any ideas?

i have tried downloading it several times and before its done it stops and says it cannot download or download not complete. We have erased everthing and started again with no luck. I know it is not a memory problem or anything like else...anyone else have this trouble??? can i go buy a disc that might have it on to download from?
