  • Old BA Business Class?

I flew from Australia to the UK in 1996, it was a British Airways flight and we were in business class. I was quite young at the time (15 or 16ish) and I have absolutely no recollection of what the seats were like. I've been looking through some old photos and stumbled across a couple of the Qantas business cabin, it got me wondering what other airlines were offering at the time (it seemed rather horrible to tell the truth)...

I've had a look around, can't find anything so if you have any info or pics that would be really great. Thanks!!!

  • What could have happened to her?

My younger sister (who's 16) has a teacher at school who has been off "sick" since late March, early April. She was only supposed to be off for 2-3 weeks before she came back, but nobody's seen her since. They've all asked their new teacher, other staff what's happened to her (just out of pure concern) and they "don't have the liberty to say"... She is apparantly off sick and isn't expected back at school until at least October (but probably won't be back until next year).

Does anyone know what sort of medical problem could be expected to last a few weeks except blow into a 10 month ordeal. Some thoughts we had were botched surgery, cancer of some sort, back issues etc. The puzzling part is the "not at liberty to say" because if it was just back issues or something they wouldn't mind saying... She's in her 40's, female, no kids, got married a couple of years ago...

Any other ideas as to what might have happened. My sister and her friends are just worried about it, and she used to teach me too, so I have a certain amount of concern. Thanks for all your help!!

  • Help Getting Sims 3 working?

    Hi there,

I have installed The Sims three on my laptop, the specs are all OK (2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 128MB Graphics etc) but it doesn't work. I did a system check at Can You Run It, which says that I need Pixel Shader Version 2 (I have V0.0) and Video Car 3D Acceleration.

Can anybody help me do what I need to do to get this game working. I know it won't be the best of experiences - I'm only doing it on my laptop so that I can take it with me when we go to visit relatives in Europe in a couple of weeks... I'll put it on a (way better) desktop when we get back.

    Thanks for all your help!!

  • Help finding Teen Power Inc?

I have got about 20 of the 30 books in the Teen Power Inc. series, and really want to complete the series. I haven't read pretty much all these books. The one's I'm looking for are:

    Bad Dog Mystery

    Poison Pen

    Dangerous Game

    Dirty Tricks

    Hot Pursuit

    The Secret Enemy

    Dead End

I'm looking through eBay, the Scholastic website, I've tried Googling and check in 2nd hand bookshops whenever I come across them, but I've been trying for a while now and just can't find them!!!

Does anyone know where I can get them?? I'm so desperate. Or if anyone has them and is willing to sell at a reasonable price (I have next to no money) please email me at pleaseceaseyelling@me.com

  • What is Australias narrowest car?

We have a tiny garage, and 2 medium sized cars (a M-B C class & Citroen C4). We are looking to get rid of the scarcely used Citroen to buy a narrower car, but can't figure out what to get. We are looking for the narrowest cars, to help make it easier to get in and out of the garage.

Does anyone know what Australia's narrowest cars are. We were thinking of an Alfa Romeo, a smaller Citroen or a Fiat maybe?? We need to be able to seat 4 adults, and a decent enough boot (enough for a trip to the shops, or to go away for the weekend).

    Thanks for all your help.

  • Via vs Intel vs AMD??

    OK...

I am getting a new laptop. It must be super portable. I am a Mac fanatic so was thinking of getting the MacBook Air. But I am now wondering if it's such a good buy. I already have a larger laptop for the heavy stuff so don't need anything too fantastic. I am now looking at the HP 2133 mini note. Or another HP laptop.

I am not a techie person.

    My question is:

What is the difference between the Intel (Air), Via (2133) and AMD (HP) processors and should they influence my decision??

Thank-you so much for your answers - greatly appreciated.
