Are there any great guitarist under the age of 30?
I am mostly a classic rock fan, one of my biggest complaints about recent music is lack of musicianship. I would like to think that this is more of perception than reality. YouTube or other links would be helpful.

3 AnswersAir Travel1 decade agoIs the United States the only developed country that has no official language?
Strictly speaking, no law has ever been enacted by Congress naming English, nor any other language as the official language of the U.S.A. Nor is English referred to in the Constitution as the language that government business be conducted in. One can infer that the fact that the Constitution is written in English implies that language is preferred, it does no explicitly say so. Most other countries have one or more official languages and give special legal status to others, but I can't think of another country that has not legally declared any language(s) as official.
4 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoIf in the normal course of your work day, you refer to customers as "sir" or "ma'am" how would you address?
someone who's gender, either intentionally or unintentionally, is ambiguous. Occasionally you run across people who you genuinely can't be sure if they are a man, a woman, or even a person of one gender who self-identifies as the other.

1 AnswerOther - Sports1 decade agoIs there a term for someone who has a belief in God, but rejects organized religion?
My personal belief is that organized religion (all of the ones I have come into contact with) are more concerned with the differences between them and other beliefs rather than the (nearly) universal idea that we should have love and respect for all, basic rules for living within society.
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWith the induction of ABBA, has the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame officially become a joke?
Run DMC and Grandmaster Flash had elements (or samples) from rock in their music, Madonna can also claim to have some rock in her (namely Lenny Kravits), but in no way shape or form can their be any connection made between ABBA and Rock, thoughts and opinions anyone?
14 AnswersRock and Pop1 decade agoIf I asked a question on how to walk out of a store without paying for a CD I would likely get reported?
yet there are hundreds of questions asking how to download copyrighted material illegally, yet , not only are these questions never removed by YA, if you confront people about illegal downloading, you usually get thumbed down, and sometimes get reported for not providing an actual answer, why the double standard?
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoWhy are so few questions about Scientology on YA?
It is a highly debated belief system that many must have questions and comments about, does the litigious nature of this "religion" force the deletions of the questions?

8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWill African-American kids who have been likely candidates for gang membership aspire to greater things..?
with Obama's election. Will his success encourage kids to take advantage of educational opportunities that will allow them achieve a life away from gangs, drugs and violence. I realize that Obama's upbringing was not like those in the "hood", but since most African-Americans see him as a role model, perhaps we can see positive change in some of our worse neighborhoods as a result.

6 AnswersOther - Europe1 decade agoIs anyone else annoyed but the rampant refusal to use the "check spelling" feature in Yahoo Answers?
This feature is available to both askers and answerers, yet very stupid misspellings persist to the point where some postings are unreadable. As a matter of fact I initially misspelled annoyed but was able to correct it with 2 simple clicks.
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoDo you think Disney movies get the benefit of the doubt from the MPAA?
I've seen some movies (the Lion King for example) that have a level of violence that is greater than other movies given a PG, yet Disney manages to hold onto the G rating.
