  • Will my ankle ever look normal?

Over a year ago I sprained my ankle pretty bad. It popped and was one of the most painful things I've ever felt. It didn't really bruise and it barely swelled. I had tight boots on when it happened and didn't take them off until about a half hour later. The ER looked at me like I as crazy for coming in with a sprained ankle.

Now a year later I twisted my opposite ankle but notticed that even with it's swelling it is still smaller than the one I hurt a year ago(the left one)

The old injury just looks misshaped and has two very large visible bumps instead of one. Will this ever go away or should I be concerned?

  • This child is beyond rude?

This kid is 9 and beyond rude. She always picks a fight with adults, she snaps back at her mother. She won't eat anything because she's a picky eater and what she says she will eat she lets us make and then tells us she hates something about it. I really can't tolerate her. Is there any way to tell her mother she is a bad influence on other kids and that she needs to have a talk with her?

The mother is strict with her and yet the little girl is still rude. I want to just wipe my hands and be done with them but it's not that simple. Any suggestions.

  • My skin itches whenever I'm in the kitchen?

The only thing different about the kitchen is that we turned on the fan that is over the stove and it's not exactly put in properly so sometimes it drips water when snow is melting and I swear bees come in through it in the summer. Could that be the reason? It's only been a few days but I can't stay in there longer than a few minutes.

  • Is there a website where you can paste in a link and it can tell you if it's a scam?

    I found this website:

    http://hsuhfjanygqqihyx.softroyalstore.com/

when I was looking for rosetta stone discount codes.

I'm fairly sure with all the weird letters it's a scam but is there another website that can tell you for sure?

  • How to get a baby bearded dragon to eat?

So I bought two babies at the same time and their about the size of my finger. The one eats like a little glutton and is a plump little guy while the other one never eats. I mean they have to have been eating something because it's been about a month but still it's really thin.

THe local family run petstore said my little glutton is probably a bully and to separate them so I did, weeks ago and he's still only getting thinner. He loves laying in the water dish so I've tried to make sure that it's always filled with warm water for him/her but I'm just concerned about how thin it is.

This isn't my first dragon I have a four year old who is a bit on the small side when it comes to size but he's quite fat and very friendly unless you interupt his many afternoon naps or hunting time. I've also had two babies in the past not make it and be marked as failure to thrive by the men I got them from.

Is there anything else I can do for the little guy? We buy mini meal worms and tiny crickets and I've even pulled their back legs off (I know how bad that sounds) so that they will be able to catch them easily since they seem a bit clumsy.

Is there anything else I can do for him/her besides letting him soak and hoping he eats?

  • Ankle troubles after spraining it?

Two weeks ago my left ankle made this pop sound and gave out on the steps. I didn't trip or step wrong it just gave out and I fell. So I went to the ER and got some X-rays and nothing was broken. Now a few weeks later it still hurts to turn it and if I'm trying to get off the ground it swells up around the ankle and the left side. Also ever since then my foot is constantly feeling like theres a pressure building up so I crack it and it goes back but that use to happen once every few weeks and now it does it multiple times a day and throbs all the way from my ankles to my toes.

    Is this normal?

I've twisted my ankle but I've never had this pain last before and I have a weak ankle but it's my right ankle so it's under even more stress with my left one constantly swelling up.

  • Could this be a sign of Endometriosis?

The first two years of my period were okay. It wasn't bad and only lasted about 3-4 days. But now it's the time of the month where I just want to curl up with a heating pad and shut of all forms of communication. It feels like there's small razors scrapping me from the inside and it's always heavy. My back will start to hurt a few days before and by the middle of my period it's a severe source of pain. Going to the bathroom hurts and can be rather unpredictable.

I was just wondering if this is normal. It wasn't like this the first year or two years so was I just lucky those two years or...?

  • Why would someone continuously do this?

Okay so say someone knows you have anxiety and paranoia problems an that you hate the shade of your door (in bedroom to the backdoor) being open because you cannot get it to close, it pulls up but you ou just can't get it to go back down.say they know you hate it and they continuously do it and don't tell you about it and then you walk into your room at night and can't do anything about it. Would you say that person is out to give you a hard time, regardless of it being a petty fear

  • Itchy, swollen, red feet?

Alright so at first I thought I had a terrible bug bite because my feet were red, swollen and itching like crazy. So I didn't think much of it but it keeps happening.

It's done it while I'm outside, inside, wearing shoes or barefoot, while I'm cold and while I'm hot.

It might seem like a stupid complaint but I've scratched so bad that it's left a nasty scar on my inner ankle.

It's just the top of my feet, ankle and heel. Does anyone have a clue what this could be? It's been going on since last spring so almost a year.

  • How long should you keep hydrogen peroxide in your ears?

I was reading another answer on here about sinus infections and it said to put 3-5 drops of hydrogen peroxide in your ear then take a nap....

I'm just wondering if that's safe or right...

I know this question may seem stupid but I've never heard of leaving it in for longer then a few minutes and was just wondering if anyone could tell me if it would work or if I should go against it?

  • Is Skullcandy a good brand?

So I've known a lot of people who love skull candy and I myself buy them when I have the money for them but honestly I bought a pair of earbuds from just some drug mart for 6 and they lasted three times as long as any skullcandy earbuds have.

So what do you guys think of the brand? Or do you know any others that are really good?

  • Anyone know something about BB cream?

Alright so I've been hearing a lot of good things about BB cream lately but well...I'm not much of a makeup person...really not at all. But I heard it's easy to use and so I'm just wondering. I'm a ginger so I have pale skin but freckles (lots of them) as well as red cheeks.

What kind of BB cream would even be a good fit if any?

  • Leo's are suddenly breeding?

I was gone for about a week and had someone watching my leo's and bearded dragon for me. Much to my surprise when I returned I had eggs. I've had them for about two years housed together and they've never laid eggs and seemed to stay on opposite sides of the tank.

I don't have a breeders incubator and they laid them in a shed box...I'm just not exactly sure what to do with them. They one who I think laid them is always outside of the shed box now, ontop of it or around it and the one I believer to be male is inside and refusing to come out.

I'm not sure what to do about it really.

I've read that chances are they won't hatch which will be a bit of a disappointment but is there a way to tell if they are fertilized or not? And if they are what should I do? I cant just leave them in there I clean it at least three times a week and can't be moving them each time....Any ideas?

  • What to do about infection around toe nail?

It's been there for about a weak. I'm fairly sure my body is not doing to great at healing right now. I was bitten by a spider about a month ago and couldn't stop itching it and before I knew it I had scratched it to bleeding point and even now it still has yet to heal.

That being said about one week ago I noticed one of my toes was a little red. Now it's red and puffy and fairly hard. The last time I had an infection around my nails it was a staph infection and incredible painful (it made my finger around the nail about three times larger then normal) I've put peroxide on it by however it got infected seems to have closed up.

I really do not want to go to the doctors for this if it can some how be dealt with otherwise.

  • Could this be because of my thyroid imbalance?

I have hypothyroidism and I haven't had my levothyroxine for at least a year. I seemed to be doing fine until these last few moths. I've been agitated by everything, I have a hard time keeping my temper and I've slipped back into my depression as well as gained weight even though I've been eating less and working out.

Now over the past week my face has been itching to the point where now my skin just burns from scratching at it. Also my eyelids have swollen and one has started dropping. My moms been saying my face is puffy and nothing I've taken for allergies is working, I sleep all the time and I am constantly bundled up even if it's not the cold.

So now the gland beneath my ear near my upper jaw on the left side is swollen and I wince if I even brush my finger against it.I know it's not my thyroid gland and I have an appointment at the begging of November to see a specialist but....that's more than a month away and the doctor I was at before is just not an option.

I was just wondering what that gland was and if it could be swollen because of my thyroid imbalance/

Please I don't want any critics about having not kept up with taking medicine. I have only been diagnosed for a few years now and after going to two endocrinologists I decided to try changing my diet and natural remedies instead.

I just want to know what this gland (assuming it's a gland) could be and if the reason it is swollen could be my hypothyroidism or something else.
