I'm trying to write down some info for my job. This is a letter that my company should send to foreign dealers. is it correct? Do you suggest any change? Help me, please.

I'm looking for this book

Since I've seen they have it at Harvard and Michigan University, I've tried to get it, but they don't have an ebook version, so that I'd love if somebody could help me out to find it in your libraries.

It's a book not so easy to find, it's unique and I really need for my PhD. Could you please give me a hand?

Avevo un aereo da Ciampino alle 17,30, sono partito da Napoli con un Intercity alle 12.17, l'orario d'arrivo previsto era 14.30. Lungo il tragitto, però, pare ci fossero degli incidenti non meglio spiegati, così che il treno è arrivato a Termini addirittura alle 16.50, facendomi completamente perdere ogni possibilità di prendere l'aereo, dal momento che Ciampino dista un'altra ora di pullman e che il gate è stato chiuso 10 minuti dopo il mio arrivo a Termini.

Questo ha comportato che dovrò passare la notte in aeroporto e ripartire domani mattina col primo volo che dovrò (neanche a dirlo) pagare di nuovo in quanto era un low cost e quindi non assicurato.

Sebbene il problema che mi ha impedito il rientro esuli dalle responsabilità dirette di Trenitalia (un incidente è un fattore comunque esterno, sebbene la voglia di dare la colpa a qualcuno sia così grande!!) ho titolo per chiedere a Trenitalia il rimborso del biglietto del treno o dell'aereo che non ho potuto prendere?

L'altro giorno, con un mio amico napoletano, è sorto questo dubbio:

Volendo dire "Stasera in TV c'è Mistero", disse: "Stasera fa Mistero". A me questa frase sembra veramente strana, giacché ho sempre sentito dire "Stasera si fa Mistero" ...

Il De Mauro riporta la prima espressione (Stasera fa Mistero) come colloquiale, ma corretta, ma non parla della seconda espressione (Si fa Mistero).

Voi che ne dite? E' corretto dire "Si fa" in quanto non c'è un soggetto specifico e quindi l'azione è impersonale?

Hi guys!! Can I ask you a favur? I wrote this paper for my English class and I was asked to talk about my ambition. Can you correcti it?

I perfectly know that my ambition is not the easiest thing to fulfill, but this is my lifelong desire: to become the President of the United States of America. Anybody could affirm that the most relevant problem that I still have is the lack of a fluent and grammatical correct English. A President has to talk with people about problems concerning different fields, from economy to welfare; so in my opinion the best way to improve my knowledge could be read many books now that I am still a student then go and live in the USA.

Besides, when you get sure about your language, you need to be an American citizen because the Law does not allow everybody to become the President, so that I should change my nationality and get the American one. Due to do this, I need to obtain the “Green Card”. Every year the US make a kind of lottery in which, if you are really lucky, you can win one. Of course, once you have become a citizen, you are asked to live there for at least six months. If you think it’s too much, well, maybe you don-t know that you must have been spending there not less than 40 years before having the possibility of being elected.

Nonetheless having the right degree is an important requirement: every important President of the United States has attended the University of Yale or Harvard or another prestigious one; In most of the cases they have studied Law, so I’m supposed to get a Master’s degree in Law as well.

I know that this is perhaps the most “strange” dream your contest has ever dealt with, but I am also sure that with the valuable help of the member of your team even an unattainable ambition like mine is, cam become reality.

Salve ragazzi!!! Ho comprato da poco un cellulare Dual Sim per rimpiazzare quello che si era rotto qualche tempo fa...

Così adesso mi trovo con un dual sim e una sola scheda sim. Ho una scheda Wind con attivata l'offerta dei 4000 sms al mese al costo di 2€, ma vorrei acquistare una seconda sim per le telefonate, dal momento che con la wind pago 0.22€ solo di scatto alla risposta ed è un prezzo esagerato considerando che le mie chiamate non sono più lunghe di 30secondi,

Mi consigliate voi qualche tariffa che annulli o cmq abbassi il costo dello scatto alla risposta e che non sia troppo onerosa? (che nn sia del tipo "paghi 10€ al mese per tot minuti gratis")

Purtroppo, però, non ricordo nè la marca nè dove lo vendevano (probabilmente lo vendevano non nei convenzionali negozi di telefonia!) ... Qualcuno di voi potrebbe darmi maggiori info e magari, se lo trova, il link della pubblicità?

I got gratuated last June and now I've started my new adventure at the university studying languages, such as Chinese, Japanese, English and a bit of Spanish, even if I've just started studying it! My favorite picture was taken two years ago during my holiday in the USA. I decided to go there because I have a couple of friends in Boston and they invited me to spend some time with them. We were visting the city and I stared at all the skyscrapers of the city. They were wonderful. I particularly liked one which was really tall and beautiful.

That summer was the best summer I've ever had, especially because of all the wonderful things I visited, such as Trinity Church (a big, gothic church), the old and the new house of the Government (really beautiful and ancient), Plymouth Plantation and so on. The picture is on my bedroom wall because each time I feel a great nostalgia of America or of my friends, I look at it and I remember how great the time was that spent there. I hope to go back there one day.

Could you correct it if there's any mistake? Thank you in advance...

P.S: I know that in this piece I'm not talking a lot about the pic and I'll correct it as soon as possible, but is it grammatically correct?
