For a book I'm writing, I'm thinking of using hemlock to kill a character. I know most commonly, hemlock kills due to accidental ingestion but can hemlock be used in other ways? For example, poison-tipped arrows? I read somewhere its toxins can be rubbed and absorbed through skin?

I'm writing a book and had some issue come up. Say the police found your DNA at a crime scene. I heard that a DNA test is basically useless unless the police have your DNA already on file. What if they have your parents' DNA on file? Will they be able to trace you because you are composed of half of your mother's and half of your father's DNA?

I recently read this manga and now it has become one of my favorite mangas...behind "Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler" and "Pandora Hearts" of course, but I was wondering why Tokyopop dropped "Nosatsu (Charming) Junkie"? They stopped publishing it after book six, but the manga series has 16 books in it.

I really love books about the paranormal and psychics in the real present world. Like the books: Dark Visions by L.J. Smith and The Summoning/Darkest Powers series by Kelley Armstrong. So I would like to read more books like this. And maybe some romance in it too.

I like fantasy and sci fi with romance in it, or just plain romance or plain horror.

I'm doing a project for Social Studies, about a person who has made a difference in United States history, and I chose Amelia Earhart, but so far, I haven't been able to find WHY she made a difference and "took a stand". Does anyone know or help me?

So far, I got was that, the way she lived her life, as a tomboy and carefree girl, it had affected her, and since many events led her to aviation.

Well, after a long trip camping, and being outside, I didn't feel anything on my finger. But after when I arrived back home, it was freezing and cold (the winter here is cold) and I didn't have gloves as I moved my stuff back into my house, soon after when I was in the car, my finger was hurting, I don't know why, its this sharp pain, but when I look, I don't see anything, even with a magnifying glass. So is it just cracked skin from the cold or a splinter?
