The front of the part of my leg (I guess my shins) throb when im running and afterwards as well. I've been trying to get into the routine of jogging daily for thirty minutes. Today is my second day and i had to stop because they were aching so bad...

So theres. Giant bug on my wall and im just sitting here on my bed and its one AM and i am totally capable of killing ot. I have a book ready next to me. But i cant bring myself to go near it. What if it flies at me when i go for it or falls into my bed and gets lost in the covers??? Words of encouragement/easy ways out would be greatly appreciated!

I tried to connect my camcorder, a Canon Vixin HF R40, to my mac with the USB plug, but it is not connecting properly. None of the videos are showing up. Please advise!

I told my parents I'd make dinner but we don't have a lot of stuff and I can't find anything online to make with the stuff we have.

We have:

Lot's of different pastas

Salad and assorted veggies

Canned salmon

Potatoes

Pita

Tomato stuff (paste, sauce, chopped etc.)

Spices (none fresh though)

Eggs

Milk

Canned veggies

This may seem a bit odd but I have a couple random questions:

What are the laws about spraying pesticides and getting exterminators? Do they need licenses?

What happens if someone is caught without a license while spraying (if they need one)?

Can they be sent to jail?

What happens if they ALSO don't have a license to carry a weapon and they are caught with one?

Are the licenses for various things that a person has open for viewing by the police? Like is it on some database?

I know these are random questions, sorry :P Prob no one knows any of the answers, but if you could refer me to a website or a person to ask that'd be great.

a) What is the order of ranks - sergeant, deputy, officer etc.?

b) How long may a low-ranking officer stay at his position?

c) When called to an area to file a report, do cops come in pairs or is it usually just one cop?

e) Do cops ever just "hang out at the station?" What are they doing when they have nothing to do and they are on duty?

Ive been learning piano for a very long time, but im mostly self taught and the lessons i do have are few and far between, so i know ill never be as good as those players who have the serious lessons with drill sergeant teachers slamming exersizes into their heads. So I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips or exersizes. I really want to be able to play properly.

I am doing this current events project where i collect about 11 news articles from around the world and then take 4 and write a 3 page essay on some connecting theme. So what is a good theme (must somehow connect to geography)???

My grandfather had a stroke two days ago and just began hospice today. He isn't speaking and is barely moving. How long do you think I can expect him to be with us?

There was a 70 mile bike race going on near me recently, and I have always been interested in biking, so - just out of curiosity - what type of bike are the racers using. I know they are very thin and light weight, but I don't actually know the exact name of them. Also, what would be a reasonable (if not fairly cheap) price to pay for a new bike used for racing?

K so I found this entire stash of basically new makeup hidden in the back of our bathroom closet, all by its lonesome, so I thought it would be cool if I used some of it. I have always worn a little bit of makeup, like mascara and lip gloss, but I thought it would be a nice idea to learn how to put it on for special occassions. The only problem is I have no idea how to apply makeup, and when /i tried a couple of nights ago I looked like a clown. So with the stuff I have, does anyone have any advice or directions?

I have:

~Foundation, in ivory. One has SPF and the other is just normal

~Shimmering Facial Whip - I think that might be highlighter

~Concealer, in a stick and liquid

~Eyeliner, in liquid, stick, and crayon thing

~TONS of eyeshadow

~Something that might be powder foundation, but I'm not sure

~Blush

~Lipgloss

~Lipstick (terrible color, does not go well with my skin or eyes)

~Eyelash curler and brushes

Oh yeah, and I have a rosy-olive complexion with green eyes, and dark brown hair. For some reason the foundation matches my skin, even though it says "ivory," and I would assume I need something darker

So, any helpful hints? Advice? Directions? Links?

Okay, I am seriously not a fan of the "do you think he/she likes me?" and the "what should I do about him/her?" questions that are constantly clogging up my Yahoo! Answer home page, but I have this one problem that seriously goes against my nature of "dating is extremely dumb until AT LEAST 16." (I don't judge, that is just my opinion. Everyone is different... rock on! :)

Ugh! Just writing about it makes me so angry! But I can't get the feeling out of my head! It occupies my thoughts when I am awake, and sometimes it even intrudes into my dreams. I hate it!

So, now that I have you thoroughly confused, here is my dilemma - there is a boy in my class, whom everyone thinks is hot/cute. I have known him the longest, and we were even extremely close until a couple years ago. He has been kind of a jerk to everyone all year, so the girls just like him for his looks. He totally ignored me for most of the school year, probably because whenever he talked to me I get all tongue-tied and just make things supremely awkward. The last day of school, finally, if you can believe it, he started being nice to me again. He was just back to his old self. I realized then (though I had slight feelings growing for him all year) that I had a crush. Back when we were younger, we both had crushes on each other, so the feelings I guess just never went away (???)...

After this summer, he is leaving, so it is quite disappointing, but this fact provoked me to text him, basically nonchalantly asking him who he liked the most out of the girls in our grade. He mentioned the girly (though very awesome :) -girls in our class, as everyone always does when I ask them these types of questions. A little part of me kind of "died" (ugh, I feel so dramatic) when I read this text from him, though I guess I kind of expected it.

So, I don't really know what I was expecting to receive as a response, but if any of you have words of wisdom, advice, or just experiences you've had similar to mine, by all means, TELL ME!

Ps~ keep in mind that a) we both go to a school and basically live in a community where dating isn't an actual option; and b) only under very extreme and rare circumstances will I ever approach someone like this, and only after it is very thought out... so... yeah

Kind of self-explainatory

I only started following this blog because the author told me she followed me, but then after I started following I saw she didn't follow me. Anyway, her blog is just terrible, and I don't want it clogging up my newsfeed. I want to unfollow her, but I can't figure out how. Any ideas?

I didn't start my blog to get famous, or to get readers, or to be known. I started it to write, as I love to do, but there is some little happy feeling inside of me I get when I find someone has commented on one of my posts, or that I have gotten followers. So far, I have had two comments and 1 follower, and I have only started blogging this year, so I guess that is a fair amount, but I want others to see my little snippets of wisdom, too :)

Any advice from the more experienced?

so I have a project in the very near future that called for a glad cap, but the store had no foundation to put on it, so now I have a yellow latex bald cap, glue, but nothing to make it blend in to my skin!!! Remedies? Anything?!!?
