Will drinking "better" premium alcohol reduce or eliminate your hangover?
Is there anything out there that says if you drink premium "expensive" vodka you will have less of an hangover than drinking cheap vodka. Same for whiskey, rum, etc? Is there any relation to premium alcohol and reduced hangovers?

In large crowds, like a concert or sporting events where there is a mass of people crushing all around you, is the man expected to walk in front of the woman as a wedge? Or walk behind the woman so you can keep track of her and to protect the "rear" so to speak?

My wife had a bad headache last night and took the maximum dose of Tylenol. About an hour later she got up and I could hear the pill bottle rattling and I told her she already took her max dose. 6 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoOptical Cable (S/PDIF) with differing plugs?
I have a Vizio soundbar with a Philips LCD TV. The sound bar requires an optical cable. But the plug on the back of the soundbar is a traditional squarish (common) plug. The television requires a circular S/PDIF plug. Does anyone make an optical cable with differing plugs? Or is there an adaptor of any kind?
1 AnswerHome Theater1 decade agoAnyone remember the name of an old game where you would swing a chain and knock off a ball?
The ball would go back and forth on a track, and you would try to swing the chain and weight and knock off the ball bearing. Where you knocked it off decided how many points you go. Anyone remember the name of that game? I used to play it in the 1970's.
1 AnswerToys1 decade agoDid Alltel give me the wrong cell phone battery?
I was having problems with the battery in my BRAND NEW cell phone. I took it into the store and they gave me a replacement battery. The one that came with the phone was a Motorola BT50 3.7v. The one they replaced it with is a BT51 3.7v. I see that the BT51 does not mention that it is compatible with my phone. Yet it seems to work fine. Will this different battery harm my phone?
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans1 decade agoFor Christians, why do you only attend church on Christmas and Easter?
I know that is a bit of a simplification. Something like 85% of Americans believe in God, yet on a given Sunday a very small percentage attend church. So for you who believe, why don't you attend church more often?
Athiests, agnostics, trolls, need not respond as you won't be getting best answer from me and will be placed on ignore.
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo you like yourself?
Do you like who you are? Do you like where you are heading? I have come to the conclusion that I don't like who I have become. I don't like where I am heading. I am in a rut. I am boring. Yet, I don't see that changing anytime soon. (Married with kids)
What would you do if you were in a rut and full of self loathing?
4 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoWhy are we persecuting Christians?
Why is it suddenly fashionable to bash Christians? Especially on the net and in forums? Most people who do the bashing are intelligent, open minded individuals who wouldn't criticize someone because of their sexual orientation, or the color of their skin, or their gender, or their handicap. In fact, most people who do the bashing wouldn't insult someone who is a Muslim, or Hindu, or Buddhist, or an athiest.
Why would someone feel that it is okay to bash members of a faith that has two thousand years of tradition and history. In fact, approximately 85% of Americans profess to be Christians.
Granted, Christians have done some awful things over the last two thousand years. But those atrocities were done contrary to our beliefs, not in agreement with them. Unfortunately, we are often judged by the MISAPPLICATION of our faith.
So why do people feel that they can demonstrate open hostility, hatred, anger against people who are their neighbors, family members, or even perhaps a friend?
If you are enlightened enough to allow other faiths to co-exist, why do you feel it is necessary to attack the faith of Christians?
Snarky, poke-in-the-eye answers are not desired, but a well though-out justification of why you feel that persecution and verbal harrassment of any people group is acceptible would be great.
