I'm shopping for a new cell phone on eBay and they have unlocked phones. I just want to clarify, are they already connected to a certain carrier? And if not, can you connect them to any carrier you want? (verizon, at&t, tmobile, etc

We used paper towels as bedding when our pregnant rat had her babies. Now about two of them have a lot of paper stuck to their skin that won't come of. What should we do to remove it, or should we just leave them in with the mother?

Last night I had a dream that I was looking out my kitchen window and saw a bear standing on its hind legs just staring out me. I felt frightened and I was trying to crouch down and hide from it so it wouldn't see me. The bear didn't charge or chase me, it just stood there looking at me. Any idea of what this could mean? So I met this guy about a month ago and long story short we both like each other but we live about 10 hours apart. We both agreed that we would see other people and he was set up on a date tonight. My heart sunk when I heard this and the more I think about it the more jealous I feel. I can't help it and I hate this feeling. I recently plugged my iPod Touch into the computer so I could transfer purchases and there was new software available. I clicked on the button to download the new software and then this sign came up that said "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes." If I restore my iPod though, all of my songs, pictures, apps, everything will be erased and I'm pretty sure I can't get it back. My friend offered to let me download the data off of her iPod onto mine. Is there anyway I can fix this problem or should I just go ahead and Restore my iPod? Thank You!!!

Today I was in class and my teacher told us to read a page in our book. I leaned back in my seat and was looking down on my desk reading the book. Suddenly, the teacher says, "Wanna wake up sleeping beauty back there." I look up and around, trying to see who he's talking to and he's talking to me. I give him a strange look and he goes on teaching. I go back to the position I was in and continue reading. This time, he yells "Wake up or get out of my class!" I look up and he's staring right at me. I say that I'm awake and he tells me I'm not because "my eyes were closed." This really bothered me and made me very upset and embarrassed. All of my friends knew I wasn't asleep and I thought about talking to him after class but didn't. Should I talk to him about it or just let it go? Thanks!

I have to do a project on the Greek God Hermes for my English class and I was just wondering what and if Hermes delivered his messages to the other Gods on anything such as a scroll. We have to come up with a creative way to present the project, and I was thinking about putting the information on a scroll, but I'm not sure if that is correct. We are learning about European imperialism in Africa and on a mini project we have to choose three European colonial claims and detail the economic motive that a European power used for claiming that territory. I was a little confused about this but I'm guessing it's about a European power, such as Britain, colonizing an African country like Egypt. I can't really find any information about this though. I have to think of two good reasons why the title My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult relates to the biblical story of Cain and Abel.

If you don't know the story, Cain is basically jealous and thinks that God is more thankful towards Cain's brother Abel, than him. Cain ends up murdering Abel. When God asks him where his brother is, Cain answers, "I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?"

So I need to think of two reasons why the title and this story are similar. I have one reason: Anna sometimes felt invisible and I would imagine jealous of Kate that she got all of the attention. I do need another theory though and I really can't think of one. Thank You so much for your help!!!

My iTunes has not been opening when I plug my iPod in. It does not work when I click on the icon or when I try to open it from the start menu. When I try to open it, the little hour glass pops up next to my mouse for a minute, but then disappears and nothing happens. We have tried reinstalling it but that hasn't worked either. I have no idea whats wrong or how to fix it so I really need some help. Thank You!!!!
