Is this just lust? How do I stop it?
I'm totally confused and haven't been able to think of anything else this past week. I'm a HS Senior about to graduate near the top of my class with a BB scholarship to Stanford next year. The past four years, I've been in classes with a girl I've hardly noticed because she shy, modest in dress, and has been late developing. She has a great laugh and seems very sweet however.
Last week, I went to the beach with some friends and she was there also. Wow, she was gorgeous in a bathing suit, and so unaffected about having fun. I found it hard to stop looking at her. Before we left, we all took showers in the wooden cubicles at the clubhouse before dressing. I could see a crack in one side of mine and looked through it. She was on the other side in the shower and though I knew it was wrong, I couldn't help but stare. I immediately got an erection, but then I noticed that she was staring back. We both blushed an turned about pretending not to have noticed.
Although I've never had trouble speaking to girls, I now feel absolutely tongue tied around her and I noticed that she blushes and turns away every time we make eye contact, although I have seen her smile to herself too I feel awful! I know that she is dangerous because I feel so attracted to her laugh and her innocence, but sometimes I also can't think of anything but sex with her and revile myself for it. I do not need this at this point in my life. Please help me. How do I stop this.

With the changing of laws favoring women and changes in western culture, do men feel that they are particularly vulnerable to unscrupulous women and girls?
7 AnswersGender Studies8 years agoReligious Conservatives, how do deliberate lies by your leaders affect you?
In this morning's news, it quotes James Dobson and Rick Santorum as saying that the health care reform law will prohibit Neurologists from treating stroke victims who are 70 years or older, unless a "DEATH PANEL" allows it. Yet, the two national neurologist association in the country have both reviewed the law and stated publicly that there is no such provision in the law, and that no neurologist would refuse to treat someone based on age. Both Dobson and Santorum are well aware of that since the debate took place three years ago when Sarah Palin first coined the term "death panel". Neither man is stupid nor are they uninformed. You may expect politicians to lie, but how do you justify it from a "man of God"?

If that is fair, then shouldn't insurance companies also be prevented from charging men higher rates for life insurance and auto insurance? Doesn't the same logic apply?

That received tremendous applause in last night's State of the Union address.

After 38 people answered this question less than a week ago, Yahoo determines that it violates community.guidelines. That's absolutely nuts! Does anyone know how this happens or even if someone from Yahoo actually looks at such questions?
7 AnswersPolitics9 years agoMales of any group naturally protect females of that group.?
Is this a product of nature, or of nurture? Male baboons will attack a leopard knowing that they themselves will die in order to protect the females. The men on the Titanic put the women and children in lifeboats knowing that they themselves would die. Is that behavior a product of male socialization by parents, or, like baboons, is it primitive instinct?
