I found a series of three books entitled "Bibliothek der Unterhaltung und des Willens". They were published in 1893. Can any Germans/German speakers out there tell me about them?

I was nominated to “Who's Who Among Colleges and Universities”. I know it is probably legit, since my nomination letter came from the Dean of student life and my name popped up in the paper too. My question is, is it still just a waste of paper and a money making scam (except this time it is endorsed by the school)?

Last year, my 97 XJ (2 wheel drive) got T-Boned and was totaled. I kept the car for salvage. Unfortunately, the &#^$! tow truck driver towed it with the drive wheels on the ground in park instead of neutral. I plan on swapping the transmission into another jeep, and was wondering what damage this would have done, and what I would probably have to repair/replace in it.

Like I say, I don't want to take anything out of context, go ahead and read the whole chapter (just 16 verses) and tell me what yo u think.

My second hard drive has ran well for about two years now. Recently, though, when I go to copy / paste files onto it, the computer locks up - no error no nothing. When I run Azureus, sometimes it will give an I/O error for the drive, but most of the time it just locks up. I tried running scandisk on boot - same thing. After the stage 4 scan starts - freeze. I think two years is too new for hard drive faliure, but then again one time i did have a hard drive fail after only one year. Please help...

I was considering buying an SJ, and I was wondering if the parts are easily available. For example, if my water pump or starter broke, do you think I would have any problem going down to the local auto zone/o'reileys/whatever and getting a replacement? Has anyone had experience with this sort of thing? Normally I wouldn't worry about it, but it would be my daily driver. I wouldnt be suprised if I would have to wait a few days (I live on campus so I could live with that), but I would not be able to wait for a 6-8 week special order.

If "ginormous" is supposedly a word now, why don't they add other words to the dictionary such as "strategery" or "ain't"?

The starter went out on my friend's 95 Cadillac Deville. It is the one with the Northstar engine. Does anyone know where the starter is or how to replace it? How big of a job is it?
