I'm writing a story and the female mc has pyrokenesis (fire powers), and the villain has made a weapon to take simple compounds (like sand) and make them into 'weapons' (like glass)that can cover the victim in the substance (like Anna freezing or han solo) but are able to excape. So the villain has shot the glass and is now being covered with glass. Would she be able to heat the glass hot enough to excape glassy prizon? Or would the scientists need to 'find a cure' to save her.
