My amp makes this horrible buzzing noise when I put my patch-cord in it. I have to twist the cord to a certain angle for the buzzing to stop. It happens with both my cords, so I know it has to be the amp. It even happens when I don't plug in my guitar. Turning on the O.D. makes the buzzing more intense. I don't know a lot about guitar equipment. What's wrong with my amp? Can I do anything to fix it?

By the way, I've got a Squire SP-10, if it makes a difference.

I've been playing guitar for a little over a year now, but when I was first beginning, I got frustrated with barre chords and kind of skipped over them and have always avoided them since.

Now that I'm more serious about my playing, and realize that I'll never ever be good unless I learn the basics, I have gone back to learning barre chords.

My problem is, playing barre chords makes my fretting hand cramp and feel some pain. Is this normal? Should I just continue what I'm doing until my hand gets stronger, or should I stop?

I like to carry a lot of music with me, and I can't fit it all on my nano, (and i don't give a rat's @s$ about apps and games, so no touch for me), so I was thinking about getting an iPod classic. However, I have heard that the classic has a hard disk rather than a flash drive, which is less efficient, skips more often, and is less economic with battery life.

So, I was wondering, are these problems significant? Will it greatly alter my iPod experience? Or are they minor?

I'm wondering because I have Windows XP and I have a total of 19.1 GB of disk space. I looked on the internet and others seem to have 200+ GB. I am running out and am down to 39.3 MB of space. So, is it normal to only have 19.1 GB of total capacity? Thank you, I appreciate your answers.

All my bookmarks have disappeared, but when I go to a site that was once bookmarked, the star that indicates whether it's a bookmark or not is yellow. They are not hiding in the "unsorted bookmarks" folder or the "bookmark menu" folder. How can I recover them?

Is there a place to contact Xbox and ask questions that aren't necessarily about hardware failures or broken Xboxes? All I can find on their official site is customer support for Xboxes that are not working.

I don't own any next-gen video game consoles cuz i refuse to buy a system that won't play my old-school xbox games. I heard the reason why the 360 doesn't play all the old xbox games is cuz they are heavily reliant on the huge load of free space the old xbox has. So, if I were to get a huge hard-drive and put it in a 360, would it play all my old xbox games? And if so, would it be difficult to do? Would there be a place I could get this done? I would definitely sacrifice my warranty to be able to play all my old xbox games on the 360.

Ever since i upgraded to Mozilla Firefoz 3.0, i've been having problems. It always takes me back to previous pages i was visiting with out me clicking the back button. if i'm typing into a box, it often reloads the page and erases everything i was typing. it also does a lot of other weird things with the back/foward/reload buttons. It's getting really annoying. what do i do?

Well, i found my gerbil dead and the other gerbils in the cage were feasting on him. I find this strange, as i heard gerbils only cannibalize each other when they are starving and the gerbil's already dead. My gerbils were certainly not starving. Another thing i found strange is that gerbils don't normally drink that much water, and i just refilled their bottle. When i found the gerbils, their water was empty ad their food was gone. Also, my gerbils usually move around quite a bit and are hard to catch. Today, they were quite still and didn't even move away from me. The dead gerbil didn't look like he died naturally. He was on his back and looked like he had been attacked. When I refilled their food bowl, they ate so fast, they were all over it. And, like I said, I know they weren't starving as I just fed them not that long ago before that. If anyone knows anything about gerbil behavior, any help would be much appreciated.

So, i'm in middle school in 8th grade. next year, i will be in ninth grade, but i will also have a new principal. she had an assembly with us telling that our lunch period will now be on campus, even tho we've been having the option of off campus for years now, possibly since the school was built. i told her that i think we r mature enough to have the privilege to leave and it would give us a chance to be good role models within the community, but to no avail. we also can't have iPods, even at lunch hour while we're outside anymore! i think that is unreasonable. is there anything i can do, or am i screwed?
