  • Middle-east geography terms?

I am writing a research paper, and the region of my paper is the Palestinian territories (Jordan, West Bank, Jerusalem), and the comparative region is Pakistan and India. Is there a shorthand way to describe these separate regions without being too broad? (cannot just say, Middle-east)

I am shopping online for jeans, and am looking at identical pairs of jeans. One pair has a composition of 98% cotton, 2% spandex. The other pair is 80 cotton, 19 polyester, 1% spandex. Whats the difference? They're the same price, is one a better buy then the other?

  • Video games for couples?

My husband and I like to game out together and we're almost done with our current game, Balder's Gate: Dark Alliance 2.

Anybody know some good two player games for us to check out next? We have Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, and Wii, so a good game on one of those systems.

  • Designing a webpage (basic)?

I'm in an IT 101 class and we're building a personal webpage from notepad using HTML tags. I am supposed to put in my favorite music video and audio file. Everything appears to be copyrighted, so I cannot get it into my folder with all my other webpage stuff in it; and can't get it onto my webpage. Am I going about this wrong?

    Please help, thanks!

Is it a brand name product, a common household item? I need something found in the u.s.a. at your average store. Also something gentle, my skin dries out a bit easy.

  • Info on broken toe please.?

My friend broke her toe. She is highly atheletic and doesn't want to do future damage to it, but wants to get back to doing stuff. She taped it, iced it, for one week, today it still looks purpleish but she says it feels better. Should she rest it a little longer or can she get back to life? Any other opinions given on care for a broken big toe are also appreciated.

In my photography class we are supposed to critique other students work. One of the questions is, "Is this picture objective or subjective?" I've looked it up in the dictionary but I'm still not quite getting what it means.

  • Is it possible to have html on facebook?

I was a myspace user and loved that you could decorate your site and how personal it was. Unfortunately everybody is on facebook now and myspace seems to be in a fast decline. Is it possible to put coding into facebook to make it more personal? I tried a little and it didn't do anything. Hopefully somebody knows more.

  • Thinking about changing dentists....?

So, I've had the same dentist that I love for years, although I haven't been in awhile. My current dentist is not a 'preferred provider' so it is somewhat expensive when I do go. I am considering changing dentists to a preferred provider to save money, but I know how hard it is to find a dentist who you don't get that 'used car dealer' feel from, or who doesn't automatically believe you need a half dozen procedures performed. Should I just deal with it and keep awesome dentist or risk trying to find a new one to save money? Opinions please?

  • Graveyard shift boredom!?

I recently switched to graveyard shift, working from 10 pm to 7 am. I'm adjusted to it just fine except... on my days off I'm totally bored! I can only clean my house so many times, and there isn't much open around. Any ideas for stuff to do so I don't go crazy?

  • Help! My dog won't stop barking!?

I have a corgi, he is almost 2. He never used to bark at all much really, and I had him trained pretty well with a "Hush!" command when he did.

I changed shifts at work to graveyard shift, so now I sleep all day during the time he used to be alone. My boyfriend works day shift hours so he's never alone much anyway to get too bored.

He will stand in the back yard while I'm trying to sleep and bark for hours on end. I've even gone outside to see what he's barking at, and there is nothing there (that I can see/smell anyway).

I don't like locking him in the bedroom with me or in the house so he won't bark, which is my current fix. I like him to have his freedom during the day. I don't want to have to resort to a bark collar or muzzle (but I will if its the best solution).

Anybody have any ideas on how to make the barking stop?
