i am from southern California and i always heard about how great the EDC was. well i don't live in cali anymore (even though its not even in cali anymore) and i just turned 18 so i could now go, ive read up about it coming to Dallas, and i was wondering if it would be worth it for me and my friends to drive from Austin and stay the night and everything for this rave?

I am 18 years old, aka a freaking adult. I've had it with my mom. I'm such a great outgoing guy who could probably be with the in crowd but my mom has distroyed those chances. First she's in my buisness by always asking what I'm going to do or what I did the night before. 2nd she won't let me out on nights when it's say Halloween or new years becuase she doesn't want me drinking. I'm randomly drug tested, my curfew is 1. I'm about to graduate high school but I'm going to be going to college near by so I'm still going to live at home. I'm tired of this control crap. How should I confront her about this without loosing everything like my car.

im going to be graduating high school soon and my parents said that they would get me a ipad or a laptop after i graduated, i want the ipad but i hope i don't end up getting things for the wrong reasons. i will be living at home so i will have access to a desktop, i want to be able to do research for class or do notes( if i got ipad i would get the keyboard). i know it seems stupid to want a ipad over a laptop because a laptop can do a lot more, but i already have access to a desktop and one old laptop and ipads just seem fun. but over all is it even worth getting.

im not a heavy smoker at all, i smoke about 5 a day, but its something i enjoy especially while im at college, ive even met some of my best friends through walking outside for a smoke, and it helps me get through long lectures. but its something that seems to be harder and harder to do, ive smoked for 3 years and rules and prices are getting worse, ive been yelled at for smoking within 15 feet of a door, come on now. and even some place i cant smoke outside, only designated areas. its getting ridiculous. yes i know its unhealthy, but this is supposed to be a free country, yeah right, what do u think will happen within the next 10 years?? no health addicts please

im not racist, at least i don't think i am, my best friend is asian, ive only dated 2 white chicks, i like ethnically divers women. i live in austin, TX( for those who think OH TEXAS IS A BUNCH OF WHITE HICKS) you would think differently if u came to austin. austin has a diverse population but i don't run into many indians in my part of austin. i have met other indian people and they were so rude to me. they acted like i was a nothing worthless american teen. i have bad feeling about having an Indian family next door, i could see some problems arising. im a white teen, i wear alot of black, i have longish shaggy hair. my friends drop me of and pick me up from school. they drive sports cars or huge trucks with chrome rims, Heavy base with metal and rap. all of my black, hispanic, and white neighbors are not happy about an indian family moving in. please tell me there are not stuck up, i know everything, indians are better than every other race. indian people( oh, my neighbor hood is just middle class, i thought indian people lived in nicer areas?

i have only done hookah twice, but i love it, its a great social activity. im even thinking of buying my own some day. but ive read ALOT of bad things on it. and yes, i freaking get it(SMOKE OF ANY KIND KILLS). and i know its not "HEALTHY* but it seems like the health people are over doing it. if i smoke hookah once a month,with friends,will i be at a high risk for bad health problems(ps- i only plan to smoke it till im 30, its a young peoples thing)

im a pretty chill guy, i have alot of friends, most of which are all girls, non athlete, besides swiming, i like to chill with friends all the time, i like piercings, and **** too. any way, over time ive started to question my sexual orientation. when i was 14 i used to have to shower with the other guys for swiming and i couldnt help but look, then last year, i had gym with this guy, and i couldnt help but watch him undress. im uncomfortable with this thing, i know i like women, but i guess i could like men, im 17 now, and i feel like im living a lie, my friends are not comfortable with this sort of thing, should i not tell them, or what, this is a confusing time for me

i was born here in austin, and have lived here my whole life, i know its a good place to live, cheaper, Pretty, UT, sixth street. but i guess ive goten bored of it. but the people who move here, are most of the time blown away , and think its the best place ever, and how much better it is here than were they are from, i want to move to houston, or dallas, is austin alot better than these places?

so yesterday my friends were out at the mall, and one of them wanted to get a 16g circular hoop with spikes facing in, well he had one ear pierced and so did i, so he gave me the other one, it wasn't very hard to put in, just seemed a bit tight,and stung a little, i was wondering if i could still put a regular earring in it again, like a 20g, not a big deal but just wondering

ive never been to the northeast at winter time, what kind of temperature should i expect, will it most likely freeze over night, it doesn't seem like it snows a lot there during this time, and i really want to see snow, whats my chances, this is a big deal for me , i live in Austin, Texas,and as i write this at 8 pm its 46, lol

im a american, 15, and my parents miss there homeland so much that they want to move back now. im at Witt's end with this, no one likes americans and i can just see how bad i am going to be treated once i arrive. am i over stressing or is this going to end up badly.

i did not know that i bought a tank with a under gravel filter because i was in a rush and just grabbed a cheap tank off the shelf. its 2 gallons, and all it has in it is one betta fish. i know there not as good as the canister ones,, will this work out ok though

i have heard people and have my self kept Betta's in fish bowls that lasted 3 years. but after i learned about how they should have more water to swim in. i got a male betta, in a 2 gallon tank, with a under gravel filter, and a light, and it seems fine. with everything including the fish i spent $46 i could have been cheap and spent $20 on a started kit with a 1/2 gallon bowl with no filter. i wanted a betta because i did not want to spend more than $50. i live in central Texas. my house is 73 at night, 75-88 during the day. do i really need to go out and spend $20 for a heater

ok, i bought a two gallon tank with a underground filter. i like the way it looks, but im confused, im used to replacing filter cartridges, this does not have those, do u replace anything, and im pretty sure i need a gravel vacuum. i just need some help

i just wanted to see if there was any one out there, i just got one yesterday (im 17) and i love it, i have it in a heated, filtered 2 gallon tank. awesome fish, beats my gold fish

i used to own a full fledged, 25 gallon tank with 20 fish. it was cool, but i didn't like paying for those filters, ran be about $10 a month. any way, they all died, so i got rid of the tank. now for some reason i want a betta. i feel weird looking at them because ill be the 6 ft tall teen, with 4ft kids standing around me. i know how to take care of fish, obviously cause i had a good size tank, my rule is, no filter, no fish. what do u think

im 17, i have a leopard gecko, its cool, but it sleeps all day, it nocturnal. i like snakes, ALOT, but my mom refuses to let me have any pet that requires eating other things, besides bugs. something that i could play with, would be nice, not top priority,, something no more than $15 bucks a month, and no more than $200 start up cost. not high maintenance, and that cannot hurt me badly. got any cool ideas

i really like pets. i have a leopard gecko, which is cool, but he doesn't like to be handled, he jumps, and runs. i want a pet that i can handle, cheap because i lost my job so i can only spend up to $20 a month. and also something that isn't weird for some one my age to have. i dont know how many people my age have hamsters,, maybe there out there, any way, what do u recommend

i REALLYY want rats, they are the best pets ive seen set aside from a dog, I WISH i could get one, but i don't think i can afford it. the initial cost up front is not the problem, cause i have 200. but i can only spend up to $20 a month or less on a pet. if i cant keep rats at that price, what is the next best thing, i don't want a genie pig cause they stinkkk. i want a pet i can handle
