  • What are some good females trios to perform?

I'd like some links to some good acapella female trio pieces.

I'd rather it not be classical, but I'm really open to anything.

  • What are some pros and cons of each of these careers?

I am currently a freshman in high school and I am tired of avoiding a question that I have been asked since kindergarten: What will I be when I grow up? I believed for the longest time that I would become a doctor; recently, I have learned more about the profession and I am not so sure that it would be right for me. The two other fields I have thought about going into are business and law. Aside from the business class I am currently taking, I know nothing about business. I don't know much about law either.

What are some pros and cons for these three jobs? Links to any sites which further insight and information would be more than welcome, and all answers are truly appreciated.

  • Can you answer these question about parenthetical citations?

How do you write a quote that end in a question mark?

"Where is her cat" (Miller 56)?

    OR

"Where is her cat?" (Miller 56).

If a quote is written over more than one page, do you include all page numbers?

"Her cat is over there" (56-57).

    Thanks in advance.

  • What did you think of The Cheetah Girls: One World?

I'm just curious to see how it was received.

I personally didn't enjoy it at all.

  • How can I improve my singing?

This question is very general, I know, but bear with me...

So, I recorded myself for the first time ever, and I can't believe how TERRIBLE I sound! I've always been told that I'm a good singer (choir, solo/ensemble, musical auditions) and I sound pretty okay to myself. Ha, well, not really. My voice sounded very weak and a bit nasal, if you know what I mean. I mean, it was better than a lot of people, but not as good as I thought. Talk about a wake up call, lol.

I want to start recording myself to post some stuff up on YouTube, not to become famous or anything, just because I want to.

How can I improve my singing?

(btw, I do take singing lessons, but I'm just starting on those, and I want something to work on RIGHT NOW, lol)

I would like to know the name of the song Demi is playing starting at 1:41.

Or at least the name of the composer.

    Anything!

    Thanks!

  • What's this song?

Uhmmm, well, it's by a buy band... kinda rock/punk/alternative....

The lyrics go something like "don't know what you do to me... maybe it's all for real... don't beat up your heart baby..."

Or something like that, lol, I didn't really hear the lyrics right...

    But yeah.

    Help?!

    Thanks.

  • Making a mockingbird?

In school we're reading To Kill A Mockingbird, and we have to make a mockingbird out of whatever we want. I was thinking about using Crayola Model Magic, because I've worked with it before and it was pretty easy, but I'm not sure if I can get all the details I want with it.

Is there any other material I could use?

    All ideas welcome.

    Thanks!

  • Transferring songs from iPod to iTunes?

Well, basically we had to reboot my computer and all my music was lost. I have all that music on my iPod, but iTunes doesn't let you transfer music from an iPod to it, so is there any other program that I can use? I'd prefer it to be free, but I'm open to paying too.

    Thanks! :]

  • Planning on becoming a neurosurgeon...?

What would be the best college for me to go to?

Obviously the Ivy League Colleges are guaranteed to be great, but are there any other ones that I should look in to?

Also, is OHSU (Portland, OR) a good school?

Oh, and should I plan on having to do a lot of volunteering and extra curricular activites to be accepted?

    All answers are appreciated! =]

(And I apologize for having so many parts to this question, lol)

  • Is becoming a doctor worth it in the end?

I really want to become a doctor (I'm thinking neurosurgeon, or maybe an anesthesiologist).

But since it takes so many years to become one, and it's such a hard profession, I want to know now: Is it worth it in the end?

(btw, I'm only 13 at the moment, but I want to start thinking about my future now, rather than waiting until the last minute =)

  • Cheer me up please?

So, our school is having a musical (Cheaper By The Dozen).

I auditioned for Anne and Mom.

    & I got a callback for Mom!!

But I didn't get the part of Mom. =[

I get to be in the "Teens and Townspeople".

    =P

So I need some cheering up.

Are there any actresses who went in for an audition their first time and didn't make it? Or got a small part?

    Thanks. =]

  • Sound Problem?

So, I can't hear any sound from my speaker.

They are connected, because when I push the volume + button I can hear a little sound (the sound that tells you how loud you're making it).

But no sound from iTunes, or YouTube, or anything else.

    What's wrong here?

    =[
