  • Christians, why does sin equal suffering?

I asked the question a little while ago why would God make people suffer and I didn't like some of the answers I got. Some of the answers said that suffering is brought on by sin, that those suffering are being punished for being wicked. I am now asking; all of the innocent people and children who die every day from disease and wars that are actually being fought in the name of God in countries such as Africa, what did they do? What sin did those innocent people and children commit that was that bad?

I have asked my Christian friends why would God make his "children" suffer and they always reply, "without suffering there can't be compassion". Well, why would we need compassion if there isn't any suffering?

  • The Zoo???

I'm a strict veggie and all for animal rights but here is the thing. My preschool class is going to the zoo and I don't know what to do. Of course there are other teachers to go so that is not a problem. Please give me some insight into why I should or shouldn't go. Thank You!

And I'm sorry this has nothing to do with food, I just didn't know which group to submit it to.
