Cheering up a grieving cat?
Recently at my equestrian yard, our cat (7 months old) was killed by a car. Our other cat (8 years old) is coping with it very strangely. She has lost all spark.. has become very clingy at times and then other times very distant.. moping about. She seems to sit in the same spot, looking across the fields then either running off or following you all day. I don't know how to cheer her up? She isn't the type of cat to play with toys or string and would it be fair to get another cat? This is our third cat that we have lost for various reasons and it would be like she is not good enough on her own? The yard isn't the same anymore and she certainly isn't. She used to be such a typical yard cat; catching mice and keeping busy until she was hungry but she is around so much now and looks so miserable, almost depressed. What to do?
6 AnswersCats7 years agofeeling maternal?
I'm 18 years old and feeling very motherly and like I need to look after something. I'm not pregnant but I'm very emotional that I don't have anything to look after. I don't particularly like children.. I work with them and that is about as much as I can stand.. Still feel the need to look after something though.. Any ideas what it could be or what I can do to stop it that doesn't involve buying a baby animal or having a baby?
1 AnswerWomen's Health7 years agoObsessive Studying Cures?
My sister is studying for her GCSEs and is struggling to cope.. She won't allow herself any time to chill when she gets home from school. She is revising from when she gets home from school to late hours of the night. She is then not sleeping and revising early hours of the morning too. Last week she had her mocks.. She was shaking and not eating due to the stress and I don't know what could help. She has got to the point where she is miserable and antisocial, it is like walking on eggshells around her because she looks so frail and tearful. Any suggestions?
1 AnswerMental Health7 years agoFood Ideas for a physical job?
I work in a very physical job (I am a yard hand) and this involves hard work for long hours of the day. I would like to lose weight but cannot seem to find the answer to what I should be eating throughout the day; to give me energy but not so that I put on weight.
I would be grateful of any ideas!! :) Thanks!
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness8 years agoThe chances of getting a job after university?
I want to qualify in an animal degree (not really sure which one) but I want to work in the equine industry, maybe a vet or physiotherapist type thing. If I complete a bsc degree what are the chances of me actually getting a job?
Thanks :)

I have seen some apprenticeships on farriery but they are about 4 years long and require previous experience in metal work? Is there another way into it (courses? shadow working etc?)
Thankyou :)

I'd like an interesting job but I don't want to have to go to university; I just don't like the idea of it, it's not that I'm too dumb. With a decent pay if possible.. any suggestions?
