What is the safest way to deworm a horse that you are not sure when it was last dewormed and if you suspect worms and they are in fair to good condition?

I think I understand the basics about brown/blue egg color. My question is simple and silly maybe. Does egg color change with fertilization or is it just the ooffspring? Example: if a (genetically) blue rooster such as Aracauna crossed with a brown egg laying hen, the offspring should most likely lay green eggs. But the egg that the original hen lays and the chick hatches from is always brown? It doesn't turn green on fertilization? Is that correct?

The house I am leasing is a nice relatively new house with a corrugated metal roof, that has a ridge line cap. There is no screening or barrier, so it vents, but insects can get in and it is getting wasps in to the attic. I was going to put screen on the attic ceiling to cover the spaces but it is too difficult because of the roof trusses being so close (about a foot or 2 apart) it would take a long time to cut and staple the screen. I am not sure about fixing it from outside. I am told a barrier is usually put in during construction, but the roofer is out of business. How can I keep the insects out and keep ventilation? Thanks.

My friend has pigeons that he keeps in a pigeon house and I take care of them. One of them just had a baby. Will the mother get off the nest to eat and drink and does she require special care?

I have been stung by yellow jackets and wasps before (I am in Southeast US) and have not had any allergy probs, but my mother was alergic enough to need an epi pen to prevent shock. I have not been stung in over ten years until yesterday. About 24 hrs ago I got stung by 3 yellow jackets and apparently am ok, except that one stung me in my forearm and it is still very swollen and painful. It stung me on about 3/4 of the way between wrist and elbow on the top or distal side of my arm. Now, my whole area between the sting site and my elbow is very swollen all the way around and it is achy in my elbow joint. I am sure the pain is from the swelling but is this serious? It seems to have a good bit of heat in it. Should I go to a doctor? I have not treated it at all and am going to take some Benadryl I think. I did not take any Benadryl yesterday because a friend had died and we were drinking at his wake and I didn't know if it would be good to be drinking on Benadryl- question again- I do not feel drowsy taking Benadryl, but is it safe to drink on it? Is this sting going to get worse-it has been 24+hrs? I should be ok, right.

I am in the US. Today is Sunday, March 28, 2010. Is anyone going to watch Jeopardy tomorrow night, and if so, can they please answer afterwards as to what the final question and correct answer was? My friend is having a birthday and doesnt like cakes and loves starburst. Does anyone have any ideas to do with them, such as cooking or decorating with them or making a shape out of them or something fun? Was thinking of putting them in a pinata, but would like ideas. Thanks
