How can I trace the business from this receipt?
I bought a dress at a market but need to change the size. Only got a card receipt so need to try to trace the store/seller from that.
4 AnswersOther - Business & Finance2 years agoCarpet python? White lipped? Olive?
So - I've moved to Australia.
In the UK I kept a corn snake, and a ball python. I've just learned that they are illegal here as you're only allowed to keep 'native reptiles'.
Is a white lipped python native? I've seen them for sale (rarely) but read they are more home to Papa new guinea?
What's their temperament like in captivity?
I've spent time with domesticated-ish carpet pythons, they're pretty snappy for their size me thinks.
But then I used to work in a reptile rescue home so maybe I only worked with the naughty ones.
I've heard Olive pythons can be gentle giants. I have no experience with Olive Pythons myself, but I think they're beautiful.
Any one have experience of a pet Olive Python? Are they gentle giants? Or just giants who might eat my future dog?
Any other recommendations would be awesome.
Would love to hear your experiences with any of the above pythons ans pets!
FYI - I would probably look to get a rescue/adoption snake. I don't like to support breeders and such. I would ideally go for a mid size snake with some room to grow, I probably wouldn't get a baby, but who knows!
Another FYI - I'm in NSW if that makes a difference?
1 AnswerReptiles3 years agoBoob job - better in Australia or UK?
I've got boobs that are rather large for my frame (32G). I'd like to get a reduction and lift over the next year or so.
I'm currently based in the UK, but am planning to move to Australia for 1-2 years' next summer.
Has anyone else faced this decision? Is anyone a surgical expert?
I'll mostly be factoring my decision based on money and quality.
Thanks.
3 AnswersWomen's Health5 years agoBall python set up Q!?
I currently use an in-tank heat pad set to around 24-26 C in my viv, he's always seemed fine with that.
I've read online recently that because they are heavy bodied snakes, it's best to use an under-tank heat mat.
Who else has a BP with a heat mat? (My viv doesn't allow for a bulb)
So my main Qs are:
Should I leave it as it is, or change to under tank heating?
If I change to under tank heating what temp should I set it to?
Will it affect the beardy tank underneath?
1 AnswerReptiles6 years agoCorn snake died suddenly?
We've had her for about 2 years, so she would be about 8 years old now.
She always been a good eater, but two weeks ago she refused her food. So I left her for a while (I wasn't too worried cause we have a ball python who often refuses) and when I went to feed her today she was dead. I noticed she hadn't been too active over the last day or two.
I checked her over for signs of dehydration and couldn't find any.
I haven't changed her viv or temps and used the same supplier as always for the mice I've been feeding her.
I'm so gutted, she was so lovely :(
Can anyone offer any advice as to why this might happen?
I've been doing some reading and it seems sometimes corn snakes just die for no reason? Has anyone else had the same?
If it helps anyone she was anerythristic
1 AnswerReptiles6 years agoRabbit training help!?
I recently adopted a 6 month old rabbit.
I think he is quite territorial because he rubs his chin on things and stamps when I move things from under the sofas (this is he favourite place)
I've trained rabbits before to do things like answer to their names and stuff but I've never had to train a rabbit to be cuddled.
This new rabbit (Poirot) is very shy and hasn't been handled much before, when I hold him and he feels secure, he is ok - but he doesn't like me approaching him and he has scratched me to bits from when I do pick him up.
Any tips on how to gain this rabbits trust?
And any tips how how to get him to stop scratching/fighting when I pick him up?

1 AnswerUnited Kingdom6 years agoWhy am I being sick? Stress?
We had some really bad news in my boyfriends family a few weeks back, since then it has been a very stressful time and I feel like I'm having to support a lot of people as well as holding down a full time job!
On two or three occasions over he last few weeks I've been really violently sick for no apparent reason, other symptoms are going to boiling hot to freezing cold within a short space of time and my heart races.
Does this just sound like an extreme anxiety/ panic attack? Or could it be food poisoning?

14 AnswersEthnic Cuisine7 years agoIncome tax question - Changing jobs and commission!?
So it's my last day in my job today, I'll be starting somewhere new on Monday.
I work in recruitment so get a basic salary, and additional commission for deals/placements.
At the end of August I will receive some basic salary from both the old place, and the new place.
I will have commission coming from the old place in both August and September.
Because I wont receive a P45 until September I've filled out a P46, but it doesn't request income information.
Will this affect the tax deducted?
If so do you know how much %age wise? because for September pay it's only going to be around 500/600 GBP in commission so if it's going to cost me more than that in tax I might just say I don't want it to save hassle.
Thanks!

2 AnswersGovernment & Non-Profit7 years agoBest coloured contact for drak brown eyes?
I really want green eyes!!
I've got pale skin and died red hair, I think it will look awesome!
I've tried a few different brands but haven't found a colour I'm happy with that properly covers my eyes.
The best coverage I've had to the persian green from MesmerEyez but they only sell the one day disposable ones.
I'd ideally like a strong, emerald green colour.
Can anyone recommend a good brand?
Another problem I've found is the circle for the pupil is too big and you see brown in the middle, and the iris is too large generally so my eyes look a bit weird. Have anyone else had this problem?
1 AnswerOther - Beauty & Style7 years agoBunny wees on the sofa!?
I have a house rabbit who is usually very well house trained.
In the year we have had her shes maybe had 2 or 3 accident on the sofa.
Since we have moved to a new place (same sofa) she seems to think its a secondary toilet. She doesn't wee or poo anywhere else its very strange.
Every time she wees or poos on the sofa I poke her in the nose show her the poos and put her in her toilet. She doesn't understand this obviously as it hasn't made a difference.
Any tips or adivce? :)
2 AnswersOther - Pets7 years agoWhat are the best herbs/plants to grow on a windy west facing balcony?
I live in Hove, just up from the south coast so it is quite windy! My windowsill is west facing so isn't best for sun.
I also have a small balcony which is more sheltered but that is North facing and basically gets no sun because we're jammed up to another building- (Damn you, Victorian architects!)
I'd love to grow plants I can use to cook, like herbs, onions or whatever really! I thought it would be a nice project with the summer coming up :)
Even if they aren't edible for humans I'd still like to grow things. There are heathers there at the moment that seem to be doing OK.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks!
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape7 years agoIs it safe to paint the OUTSIDE of a vivarium whilst the animal is inside?
We are in the unfortunate category of a couple with really lovely pets (corn snake, ball python, bearded dragon) but rather unsightly vivariums!
The corn snake's doesn't really need painting as it's black, but the beardy's is beech, and the ball python is teak or something.
It doesn't quite match our Victorian mahogany!
Has anyone done this before?
Is it safe?
Please note we are not painting the inside

2 AnswersCooking & Recipes7 years agoFabric softener compartment doesn't drain, why? (Front loading washer)?
So I've had a problem with the washing machine that has really only occurred over the last few months.
The conditioner drains out into the clothes, but then the tray is left full of water after the wash cycle?
This has baffled me, can anyone tell me why?
How to fix it would be really helpful as well!
Additional info:
I live in Brighton, I think we have quite hard water here.
Also it's not MY machine I rent my flat.
I case it makes ant difference the conditioner I use in Lennor (the yellow one, it smells UNREAL)
Thanks xx
