  • Your experience with a digital hearing aid(s)?

Do you (or know of someone who has) use digital hearing aids? Are they considerably better than the regular type? What did you have to pay for yours? I understand that they give you better functionality and suppress ambient noises. What is your opinion?

  • What can Christians do to make gay people feel welcome in the church and know that they are accepted?

What can we do to extend brotherhood to them and show them that they have an important part to play in carrying on the work of the church?

  • How would you react if a gay man were elected to the Presidency?

Would you support him anyway or would you do everything that you could in order to bring him down?

  • Has anyone had their kitchan cabinets refaced by Craftmasters in Houston?

I am considering having them remodel our kitchen to include cabinet refacing and counter resurfacing. We have had what seems to be a plethora of unhappy customers who have had this done by local firms and the deal went sour. Please advise if you have had such an experience.

  • What if there were no religion in the world?

How do you think it would affect you personally and how do you think it would affect society in general? Please give answers based on your own mind and do not quote scripture from the Bible.

  • What is the extent of your religious life?

    Which response best describes you?

    (a) Very religious. I believe that the Bible is the absolute word of God. I go to church regularly and only miss because of illness.

    (b) I believe in God and occasionally go to church. But I don't believe that the Bible is not always correct and you need to question it to get the best out of it.

    (c) I believe that there is a God, but no one really knows much about him.

    (d) I don't believe in gods at all and think that religion does more harm than good.

    (e) My belief is different from any of the above. EXPLAIN

  • Does god really answer our prayers?

Preachers always say this and often even put it on their marquees. But this is hard to believe. There were a lot of prayers that were said to stop the leakage of oil from the wild well in the Gulf of Mexico, but so far he hasn't responded. Many people have lost their livelihoods because of the spill. This is just one example but there are many others. In fact I have never heard of him actually answering a prayer except in those cases where good results have come about by coincidence.

  • Does God answer prayers?

Pastors always say that God answers prayers. But all kinds of people are praying for certain things and their prayers are never answered. Thousands of people in a small midwestern town prayed that an oncoming tornado would spare them, but it didn't. Many more pray for an end to an illness. Still others pray for victory in a football game (even though both sides are praying for the same thing) So where is God when these prayers are never answered?

  • Do you believe that God answers prayers?

Religious people say that he always does, but I can't see it. I've known several people who have prayed for an event but their prayers went unanswered. I see people praying for their dying relatives and also those in peril from natural catastrophes (children included). But these too are unanswered. How do you feel about this?

  • How do you feel about the Bible being an accurate resource?

We know that the Bible is full of contradictions and also impossibilities (Noah's ark, etc.). So what is your conviction about this>

    (a) We need to study and consider everything that is written there in order to make a decision about the validity of same.

    (b) I believe that everything that is written in the Bible is the absolute and unfailing word of God and that we should live our lives accordingly.

    (c) I believe that living my life strictly according to what is printed in the Bible is bound to result in absolute and total frustration.

I'm about to take the plunge and replace my standard TV with an HD type. But I'm confused. There are PLASMA types and LCD types and maybe even projection types. Which is best and why? What should I be looking for along these lines. Thanks.

  • Times are changing. Are you?

I recently noticed a marque sign in front of a local church as I passed by. It read "Times are changing. WE ARE NOT!". To me this was sad because the churches need to reconsider all their policies and make changes where necessary. What are your thoughts on this?

  • Can you record from a DVR to a DVD?

I have AT&T's Uverse system which records on its own DVR. Occasionally I would like to record a science or historical program on my DVD recorder for my grandchildren at the appropriate point in their lives. Is there any way to do this?

  • Is Obama going to do it?

During the presidential campagne, Obama made strong suggestions that if he was elected he would end "don't ask, don't tell" in our armed forces. He still hasn't made a move to do this. Since he is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces all it would require is an official order from him to the chiefs of each branch. Simple!

I downloaded & registered Uniblue's Registry Booster. Since I've been using it I've had all sorts of problems with my computer. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with it and what is your evaluation of it. Thanks.

  • Which company has, in your opinion, the dumbest tv commercials?

You know, the type of ad that seems to cater to the gullible or perhaps those with little education. My vote goes to Geico Insurance. Their ads are unbeleivably dumb.
