Hi, i have 5 female rats, they got the ting, i can't remember what it is called, but it is the red mucus coming from their nose and eyes, they were all sneezing.

I have manages to sort the problem almost completely, with one of them just sneezing every now and then, but one is still sneezing quite a lot, does not run around my room as much as she used to and has lost some weight.

Basically i am wondering if there are any healthy foods i can feed my rat to help her gain her weight back as she is still eating, just she is not gaining weight.

I have 5 female rats all living happily together.

I know that they come into season for around 12 hours every 4-5 days and when they are in season their cage mates may hump them, well one of them has been humped for 4 days in a row now.

I was wondering why this could be? Is she still in season?

Hi, i live on the border of devon and cornwall and currently own 5 ratties.

just wondering if there is anybody else down here that owns rats that would be interested in showing them or do currently show them as there doesn't seem to be anywhere to do this.

Hi, my one and a half year old hamster Spice is balding, she is a long haired hamster and used to be a real fluffy teddy bear, but lately i have noticed her fur thinning all over and now she has almost entirely bald back legs, she looks really strange! She is on the same food, cleaning routine, cage and everything else as she and my other hamsters have always been on.

I know its probably just old age, but i was just wondering if there could be any other reasons for this.

Hi, my female rat has been sneezing a bit for a couple of days now, and i thought she was fine, just had a cold, but today she has started to sneeze really violently and make all sorts of weird noises i have never heard her make before, she also has what looks like blood around her nose.

What is wrong with her? Is it just a cold? What can i do to help her?

Hi, i would like to get age of empires 3 on pc, but was wondering if it is compatible on windows 7?

Also, my brother has a game which works fine on our old computer but will not upload onto the new laptop, it starts uploading but gets a certain way along and just stops, just wondering if it is not compatible with the new system or if it has a scratch so it can't be uploaded?

Hi, i have a male guinea pig about a year and a half old, called Alfie that lives outside, yesterday when i fed him, i found that he had had diarrhea and was pretty much covered in it, so i brought him in, soaked him in some warm water, got him all clean, and have had him in my room in an indoor cage since then, about 24 hours he has eaten most of his dry food, had some water, not much of his veg, had a look all over his cage and all i can find is pee, i cannot find any poop.

Does this mean there is something wrong with him? if so then what and what can i do?

My guinea pig gave birth to a baby boy 15 days ago, and he has already began to mount his mum, should i separate them at this early age? Ow and just to let you know, he is eating fruit/veg, hay and mums food, but still suckling. And he is virtually the size of 8 week old babies, but he is only 2 weeks!

And please no stupid answers, yes i have done plenty of research, i am keeping him myself so no problem with rehoming and i am on an animal management course, so yes i know what i am doing except for separation.

I have 2 female rats, they are about 3 months old now, but i was wondering if i could give them bird toys, not all of them, just the wooden ones as they look much more interesting than regular rat toys, or have they been treated in anything that rats can't have?

If they can't have them, then are there any toys i can make at home or that they would really like? So far they have a house, hammock, rope toy thing, plastic tunnel, wooden block and toilet role tubes. Thanks

Hi, i have a pregnant guinea pig and hopefully she is due any day. I have done quite a bit of research and know most of what to expect and what to feed etc, but i was wondering on what age to separate the males from the females and when to re home them, i have been on quite a thew sites, and most say to do this at around 3 - 5 weeks, but that seems too young to me.

If there is anyone that has bred guinea pigs could advise me on when to wean and re home i would be greatful.

I got 2 female baby rats last week, they are both healthy and get fed the same food and amounts, but one weighs a lot more than the other, what can i do?

Any healthy treats i can give her?

How much food should i be giving her?

I am getting a wheel for them asap, and am in the process of rat proofing my room so they can roam free while i am in there, at the moment they are allowed out with close supervision, but not too often.

I got 2 rats today, both female, one is mainly white with some brown on her head, and a brown splodge on her back, the other is white with a grey/silver back/top of head.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions as to any toys i can buy/make would be great as well as treats.
