I just came back from a mental health clinic where I took a friend that has been very depressed for about six months. Lately she's been talking about suicide on a daily basis! I finally got her to go to this clinic, I was so happy because I knew that she would get help. The "Therapist" (not in my opinion), said that she wasn't going to be accepted because she was not Bipolar and that she seemed to "look OK". She is quite understated that is to say she is not a cry-er or screamer, just very quietly going down the tubes. She took a razor to her wrist recently and told him this. She was turned away! I am in shock, angry and in utter disbelief! I have no idea what is to become of her, I can't wrap my mind around this! Anyone ever hear of anything like this?

Is there a special program that authors use? I just sat down and started it in MS Word, but I don't think this is the way writers do it. I also need to find out how to start finding an editor, publisher, etc. Any advice?

due to numerous severe injuries, I have been cut off from pain mngt. for failing a wizz quiz and cut off completely. during this span of time my life has become completely unmanagable. For the past 3 months I have tried to attain doctoral care by being completly honest about my situation, and have been told point blank that although I was in good standing for 23 yrs. and deserve a second chance doctors will not treat me for fear of losing lisencing. Here's the thing, I have tried every non narcotic, homeopathic, holistic remedies including abstenence and excersise. Since being treated with opiates for 23 yrs my endorphins do not respond in a natural way. The pain is unbearable, physically, emotionally and mentally. Also I have ruled out methedone treatment and suboxone! Any help would be appreciated!! I have almost 50 broken bones, my back has been broken since I was 17! Please help!!!
