I'm leaving for a trip from the U.S. to the U.K. in a few months and I bought British outlet adapters.

I arrive in Ireland first, then head out to England a week later.

American outlets are--I think--110 to 120 volts, and U.K. outlets are about 220 to 240 volts.

I don't want to use my iPhone as a guinea pig for the voltages.

The adapters I already bought look a little like the ones in the link below...\/

So, my questions are:

Will the British adapter work in Ireland?

What does "grounded" and "ungrounded" mean?

Will I fry my electronics if I try to charge/use them?

i got my period back in 6th grade and it was pretty fine and normal.

7th and 8th and 9th grade it got a little out of wack

i was anorexic really bad then and my dr. said thats messing me up

i was on the pill in 10th grade

i could almost predict the MINUTE id get my period on the pill.

id forget a day or two every so often

i just stopped taking them over a year ago (now im in 11th grade)

i didnt have a period until FOUR MONTH LATER after that!!

i did get them every 4 months, then it shortened to 3, now its about every 2 months

why has it taken over a year to get close to a "normal" cycle?

was it the anorexia?

should i eat more?

is there something wrong with me?

my mom had some problems in that area, could that affect me?

i mean dont get me wring... having ur period only at least 6 a year is GREAT!, but if im messed up because somethings medically wrong with me, then i need help..

I live with my boyfriend and he isn't too keen on me smoking, so I was wondering if I sneakily ordered these online and get the package in the mail, will there be a huge label saying "BOUGHT FROM BLU E-CIGARETTES ONLINE"? Or will it just say, like, "shipped from Boise, Idaho to your address" (or where ever they ship it from.)

My main question is: Can I order Blu E-Cigs without getting caught?

I want to be a nurse, so I NEED an education after high school (I'm a junior now.)

I have $3,000 in the bank right now but that won't even cover 1 year at a community college/junior college.

What do I do? Neither of my parents make like $1,000,000/year. together they make maybe less than $80k, but I'm not 100% certain.

My dad just bought a new house, car, and boat; my mom is thinking about getting some work done on her face.

Is it just me or does this seem like a giant middle finger to me? They have always told me to stay in and study and don't go out and keep my grades up so I can go to college. So now I've lived a sheltered life and have NO was of getting into college.

-About a month ago: I fainted in school (hit my head on a table and the floor on the way down, by the way), was constantly light-headed, dizzy, and a few more things that I forgot.

-For the past few weeks: I've been having chest pains (sharp, painful, and sudden), difficulty breathing, and difficulty sleeping.

-I thought I could "just suck it up" like my dad always says, but now it is interfering with my sleeping habits and my school work.

-I looked up my symptoms on that Web MD website, and some serious medical problems showed up and there were about 20 pop-up boxes that told me that if I have these symptoms, I should seek immediate medical attention.

-But here I am, a month later... and I still haven't seen a single doctor or physician or nurse or pharmacist or anyone!

-I beg my parents to take my to the doctor but they are being selfish and refuse to take me because they are convinced it is just heart burn (of COURSE they are right, I mean they're bankers for god's sake! They know anything and everything about medical issues.)

-I want help, but I don't know what to do... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!!?? :(

-I like that I.S.U. is urban and farther away (I don't care for the country or wooded areas); I don't like that N.I.U. is close to my home, but I like how great of a school it is said to be; and S.I.U.E. is said to have a GREAT Nursing Program, but I think it is not as academically challenging as I.S.U. or N.I.U.

-I am open to other suggestions as to which university would be best for me.
