Hello!

I have new hermies and they've been living with me for three days now. Every night I put a new bowl of food in their tank - I've been giving them crushed Hermit Crab food pellets plus a different chopped up little fruit or veggie each night - and every morning I take it out and it seems as if the food hasn't even been touched. Their tank temperature is normal and so is the humidity. They're out and about around the crabitat in the evening and aren't lazing around and do not seem tired or sick. I have a dish of salt water and freshwater for them and a calcium source so they have everything necessary to keep them healthy. I know Hermit Crabs can go a little while without food so they won't starve to death anytime soon... but I was wondering if anyone knows why they aren't eating and how long I should wait until I start to worry about this?

I'm a Libertarian and grew up in a Liberal family. I am a very firm believer in Christ and have a relationship with the Lord... Yet, when I tell people my political party, I very regularly get a response that I am a bad Christian or not really a Christian. I do mission work regularly, I always try my hardest to forgive and to show Christ's love, I read my bible, I pray, I go to church, and most importantly, I have a relationship with Christ. So why do people keep telling me I can't be a Christian?

About a year ago I fell into a creek, hit my head, then after getting out of the water I passed out and wound up with a concussion. What I find weird is now any time I'm around creeks I feel dizzy and nauseous... I used to love them and cross them no problem (losing my balance crossing over on a log was how I fell in in the first place) but now just looking at one makes me a little light headed, nauseous, dizzy, etc. Is this some sort of vasovagal response or is there another explanation? I'm not afraid of them. I mean, thinking about going there doesn't make me anxious or anything - it's just when I see it. I'm just curious.

Predestination. I understand WHAT it is, but I don' understand it. Specifically, that God only died for the elect... that he HAS an elect, meaning that we do not all have a chance for salvation... Until about two years ago when I visited a friends church I had never heard of Predestination... I'd always been taught that God sent his son Jesus Christ down for ALL people and that if you accept Him into your heart as Lord and savior, then you will be saved. I've asked many people from this church and have yet to get an explanation that made sense... I've been trying to figure this out for about two years now... any thoughts?
