  • how'd I get a kidney stone?

Can eating a lot of chocolate cause a kidney stone? I drink a lot of water and no dark soda but I have a horrible diet (candy, greasy food, junk food..) Can this be the reason I have one or is it something else? Also do they have anything that can break one up to help you pass it? I was in the hospital Monday morning and they told me I have a 6mm stone which I found out is about as big as they get, but they just told me I could have surgery or go home with pain meds. I chose to go home but now I think I'm going to end up back in the hospital with the same agonizing pain and have to have surgery anyway. What is the likelihood I will pass it on my own? It still hurts...not as bad, but getting worse again by the day. I wish they would have gave me more info when I was in there.

  • Is it normal for a kid to talk like this?

My 4 year old son is the sweetest thing. He always calls me beautiful, is very affectionate and he brings me a dishtowel when I'm crying over a sad tv show.

But...he scares me sometimes because he is always talking very violently when he plays (like pretending with his action figures or whatever.) He says stuff like "I'll rip your face off", "I'm gonna burn you and drown you." and other stuff like that. Some pretty shocking things. He use to say it to me when he would get mad at me but I put an end to it. He slips up and says something like that to me now and then but quickly takes it back and apologizes.

I still wonder if other peoples' children talk like this or if my son is really gonna get older and be a violent person?

  • what would cause black spots on tv?

I have a big screen high def T.V.- DLP

About a week or so ago I noticed at the bottom right corner there was a black spot. I use closed captioning and can still see the words faintly behind the spots. I thought my 4 year old son must have hit it with something. It slowly faded (like it was draining down). But then it happened again a few days later and is even bigger this time. There is even a little spot on the other bottom corner too. I don't think anymore that my son caused the damage.

Anyway, it sucks because my warranty expired this past June. This time the spots aren't 'draining' quick at all, plus there is still grey discoloration on the spots that were once dark black.

Has anyone had this happen to them or have an idea what is happening?

  • age restriction on energy drinks?

Does anyone agree w/ me? I work at a convenience store and I'm so sick of little 8 year old kids buying energy drinks. Like they need to be hyped up any more. Parents must not be paying attention and the kids don't know the effects the drinks could have on them.

I feel so bad when I have to sell them to these kids because of no age restriction.

  • Why is it illegeal?

to get drunk and walk home or ride a bicycle home? Who else thinks this is dumb? I would much rather have some drunk get on a bike and go home or walk then to get in a car. If he/she has no designated driver, they have to get home somehow. I think it should be rewarded, not against the law.

  • remember this Pop-Tart?

I use to have a favorite Pop-Tart, but I haven't been able to find it in a long time. I can't remember the flavor name, but it was graham cracker with chocolate flecks in it and no icing. It had chocolate on the inside. Does anyone know what kind this is and if they still make them?

  • Anyone else remember..?

nightmares from when they were small children. There are some that I remember quite well and I was just wondering if anyone else has.

Also, I don't know why I do, especially since I barely remember real things that happened when I was that age.

  • Math riddle?

3 guys are at a hotel and order a pizza. Front desk says it will be $30, so each guy puts in $10.

When it's delivered, the guy says it is only $25, so he gives each guy back $1 and keeps $2 for a tip.

If each guy got a dollar back, they only spent $9 each.

$9 * 3= $27 + $2 that the delivery guy kept =$29. What happened to the other dollar?

  • Good ideas for the Earth?

A law forcing everyone to recycle.

Government regulating manufacturers to use smaller packaging instead of using more than necessary to try and 'trick us' into thinking we are getting more product.

I've always thought these would be great for reducing waste if put into effect.
