I sold a pair of preowned mens jeans for 20 bucks with free shipping. the jeans only had the waist size on the inside tag and nothing for the inseam. on the listing i put the inseam as 32 since thats usually a standard inseam but the buyer measured it and its actually 33. He wants to keep the jeans but is asking for a partial refund of $10 to have the jeans altered. Should i just give the partial refund basically giving the jeans away or is it best to ask for the jeans back and give a full refund?

I work for an IT company that has contracts with investment banks to do tech projects. A few months back i was assigned to work at JP morgan for about 3 months . Recently they offered me a full time long term position at JP morgan but for less than what im making now . It also requires an A+ certification which i dont have but they said they would give me 3 months to get certified while i worked there.

The upside is that its 40 hours of consistant work at the same place instead of going to many different banks on a regular basis. but the downside is that even if i get certified there is no pay increase so i would basically be doing the same job that i was doing before for less per hour and no benefits from JP morgan being that its a consultant/contingent roll.

I have a sony vaio laptop that i have had for a year. windows 8 installed and the harddrive has more then enough space left but for a little while now everytime i play songs on itunes for a extended period of time eventually the song starts to skip or stutter sort of like the sound of a scratched cd. it only last for about 40 seconds and then its fine. but it does it every hour or 2. the same thing happens if i watch youtube for a while or stream music from a site online. other then then everything is fine. its just this little annoying thing. I do virus scans and nothing threatening comes so its not a virus. is there anyway to get rid of this audio stutter?

I have a 32 gig iphone 4s that i have had for 2 years now with verizon. If i buy an unlocked 64 gig 4s and bring it to verizon would they be able to transfer my phone number to the 64 gig and deactivate the 32 gig so i can pass it on to someone else? how much would they charge as well?

I have a job interview coming up and they said that they only use Macs. I have never owned a mac and have only used one a few times when i'm at the apple store using the laptops . the only thing i have ever bought from apple are several ipods since 2005. are they really that much different PC?

Sorry if this is a little long but here are the details. Me and my friend were planning on going to wrestlemania 29 ever since we went to the garden house show last year in march.

last week (monday during raw) i text him how much the ticket range was going to be for the event and he was fine with it. then 2 days later i asked him if he could give me the money for his ticket by next weds and he didnt reply back until saturday morning and all he said was "i will let you know on monday". once i saw this i knew something was wrong. monday night comes around and still no message so i sent him a message pretty much saying "whats the deal now". he got back to me yesterday and said that he doesnt know if he can give me the money because he has to travel somewhere for work on 4/20 and he has to front them the money and he will be reimbursed when he gets back. I asked him if i buy the tickets then when would he be able to pay me back and he said realistically sometime in the middle of next month.

Based on how fine he was about the ticket prices one day and then once i ask for his share of the money a few days later and he becomes distant all of a sudden it got me thinking that he had always thought that i was going to buy both tickets with my money and then he would pay me back at wrestlemania or come up with some excuse as to why he couldnt pay me at the moment. then say that he would pay me back later on in the week and i wouldnt see him for a while.

this really sucks because i really want to go to this and i had the money for my ticket for a really great seat but now if i have to pay for both tickets i will have to compromise and be economical and sit somewhere else. I know that work is important but this is something that was planned out and known for a more then a year and i think the least he could have done was tell me well in advance about this situation. so should i just buy some cheaper tickets for both of us and wait for him to pay me back later or do you think i should just forget about it and just watch the pay per view at my house?

I saw a half drunken baby bottle at a friends house recently and it really caught me by surprise considering that his son is going to be 5 in less then a month. isnt that way too old for a bottle and can there be any psychological effects to a kid if you keep giving them the bottle for too long?

most of the daredevil comics tend to sell for only a few bucks on ebay auctions compared to other marvel comic characters. even silver age books wont even crack double digits. Did the movie really mess up daredevils popularity that much or was he always unfavored with more of a cult fanbase in comparison to the other marvel heroes ?

My friend owes me money for about 2 years now. its not even that much but for him to take this much time to pay back $52 is ridiculous.

anyway last month he told me he was going to pay me back when he gets paid on march 8th. he ends up gambling his whole pay check away at the OTB (but yet still had enough money for himself to go to the bar after wards and blow off even more money) and isnt able to pay me back. so another 2 weeks after that (march 22) he tells me to come to his house on sunday (march 24) to pick it up and i agreed. i sent him a message yesterday saying that i was coming by his house later. about an hour later he asked me if i was by his house because he was getting ready to step out. I wasnt but i asked when he was coming back. he said around 4 or 5 pm. a few hours later i sent him a text and said that i would come over after 4pm and he replied "ok let me see if im home. if not come on thursday". a little after 4pm i send him another message asking if he was going to by by his house soon and i got no reply.

my main issue with this is that on friday he invited me to come to his house on sunday but he still made plans to leave his house on sunday even though he knew that i was coming over. It bothers me that he did not have the common courtesy to just call me early that morning and tell me so that i could have made my way there much earlier before he left. Do you think he is just trying to avoid me so he wont have to pay me back?

i sold a book recently but there is an issue with my paypal and its been limited and cant receive any payment or funds. this happened the day that the auction ended. I told him that my paypal account can not get any funds and there is no way to pay for this because no matter how my times he attempts payment an error message will come up. i dont accept checks, only paypal for speed and safety reasons. I sent a cancellation request to him explaining the situation. but he denied it. what will happen now since he cant pay and i cant change any information on the invoice to a different paypal?

I sold a comic book for $7 ( actually it was $3.05 and $3.95 shipping), recently on ebay. I stated that the book was in used condition but still in readable condition. He is complaining about some tape that on the inside staples. I told him that he could return the book and i will refund him what he paid me once i get it. but he emailed me back and asked if i would refund him the return shipping as well as the initial $7. I dont think this is fair because he could fed ex this to me and pay some crazy amount of money so i can get this tomorrow and then i would have to pay back over 4 times what he originally paid me. i mean when you go to a store and return something the store doesnt refund you on gas money.

I recently sold a comic to someone a few days ago. the book looked in good condition. they got it today and they are complaining about a bunch of scratches on the cover (195 to be exact). In my description i said that the book wasn't in perfect condition and that any minor imperfection could be present. plus on one of the pictures you can see a few scratch marks and that's what i told him in a reply email this afternoon. he then opens a case against me and claims that i never replied back to him. He emailed me at 12:48 pm, i replied at 1:13pm and then 4 minutes later he files a case against me and flat out lies that i never responded to him.

basically he wants a refund because he saying that putting that the book is "not mint" implies that the book is in "near mint condition" . I told him that if someone tells you that something is not mint then that obviously means its not perfect. and if its not perfect then it obviously shows signs of use over time. this is his reply word for word, ""Saying a book is not mint, and that any small defect can make it not mint, doesn't imply the book is severally damaged. It indicates the book is in high condition.". so now he is claiming that the book is severally damaged! if that book had the cover detached, page rips and other major cosmetic flaws then it would be considered severally damaged but everything was intact and the pictures prove it.

I know that ebay usually always sides with the buyer on practically everything but if i just escalated this to have ebay determine the outcome of this situation do you think i would have a chance of winning .

i mainly started collecting alot of yankees cards of jeter, arod, mariano, pettitte, cc, robinson cano and ichiro. but is it better to only buy cards that are graded or are ungraded cards just as good. for instance, is having 15 robinson cano rookies just as good as having 5 of the same card but graded by psa or bgs as an 8, 9 or 9.5?

I recently sold a video game on ebay last sunday on the 18th. 4 days go by and no payment is made and i never heard from the buyer so on the 22nd i open an unpaid item case against the buyer after checking his feedback and realizing that he had recently backed off on paying for a playstation 3 auction . after 2 more days of no payment or email communication from the buyer i just decided to relist the game yesterday as a 1 day auction . it sold today and the new buyer paid for it immediately but about 10 minutes after the game sold i finally heard from the original buyer and he emailed me saying that he was going to pay for the game in 4 days on the 29th!! I can understand if the buyer emailed me a while ago and told me when he was going to pay so we could work something out but it has been 7 days already since he bought this and now he wants another 4 days to pay for this. 11 days to pay for something is way too long. If i end the unpaid item case after 4 days and get my final value fee back for the transaction would he still be able to leave negative feedback for me?

I recently sold a sweater for $32 plus 4.95 shipping so it was about $37 total. the guy wanted to return the sweater so i said "sure" and once i got it i would refund the money. I got it today and i went on the computer and refunded the money. but now he is saying that I should also refund him the $5.15 that he spent to send the item back to me for a total of $42. is this fair because he could have spent about $30 for express shipping just so i could get this the next day and then I would have not only pay back the $37 but an extra $30 on top of that to the point where i would be giving a double refund. when you return stuff to a store its not like the store reimburses you on gas money, cab or bus fare for transportation to the store.

I have an ATT go phone that i barely used. maybe once and there is nothing on it as far as contacts or pictures. To sell it on the internet i would just have to take the sim card out right?

mainly in queens and manhattan to buy graded baseball cards or hockey cards at decent prices.
