I have an older Hotpoint. One door outside, small freezer compartment inside. I looked under the kickplate and found numbers, a part of a number inside, and a number on the bottom inside. But haven't been able to find anything. Where can I find out???

  • Have you ever forgotten?

Have you ever put your child in time-out and forgotten them? LOL

I put my 4 1/2 year old in time-out, but I forgot to start the timer. I have also told him to not scream and yell about "when can I go, etc.etc." or that he will get a minute added. Anyhow I was finishing making dinner, and everything was sooooo quiet for a change. Then it dawned on me.......ROFLMAO....I think he spent about a half hour in there...Anyhow he was really happy to get out this time. I know it's terrible....but funny at the same time.

  • What is wrong with my 2002 Nissan Maxima?

Ok. Here's a list for you.

First of all my car was running really rough and making this sputter/flutter type of noise when I would hit the gas after a stop. It seemed it had lost power also, took forever to get up to speed.

So I took it in, they cleaned the throttle body and told me to make sure to use a higher octane gas, which I always use premium and I told them so.

A few days later, the check engine light came on and I noticed the engine was running 2500 rpms when I was just sitting there in park. So I took the car back and they said it was a faulty throttle body actuator. I asked them what that was and the mechanic told me it was a "sensor". Also, he said he "wiggled" it and now its idling right- for a little while anyhow. Well, I thought an actuator was something that ACTUALLY moved something. I dunno. Anyhow, they wanted a crap load for labor and the part wasn't so cheap either, more than I could afford at the time. So I decided to wait and see if I could find the part somewhere else cheaper. I have went to auto parts stores and everywhere else and I can't find anything called a throttle body actuator. Is there another name for it? Where can I find it (besides Nissan parts) and how much?

Also, now the car doesn't have a high idling speed, but it does hesitate when I accelerate. It takes forever to get going, and the rpms sometimes go up to 4000 just trying to get to 40mph. If I let off the gas slightly the rpms drop way under 1000 and then the rpm needle fluctuates back and forth. Sometimes when the car drops rpms suddenly like that it feels like the car might just die. Is this because of the Throttle Body Actuator also? Or is it another problem completely?

Then my final question is about my fuel level. The gas gauge shows more gas than is actually in there. Really sucks when your car dies while making a left hand turn in rush hour traffic, just because you ran out of gas, when according to your car's gauge you have 1/2 tank or more. So I've been using the trip meter to estimate how much gas I have left. I've been told by other people that there is a level indicator on the fuel inlet that has slipped down and that I can just "slide it up".

They told me I had to take out the back seat and remove some kind of access door to get to the tank and remove some bolts and slide this level up. Is this true? Is that all that is probably wrong? Or is this level itself faulty and I need to get a new one? If I have to get a new one, how much?

    Sorry for the long question(s).

  • Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Ok, everytime I have dinner with another person(s) sitting across the table from me or if I just have to face them, this happens.

Here's how it goes: We're eating dinner, laughing, talking, whatever.

I'm eating, I feel full, I stop. However, they're not full yet, so they keep eating. I can't look at them eat once I am full or it makes me start to feel sick, like I might throw up. It's not because I think they're disgusting or anything like that. It's because it feels like the food they are putting into their mouth is going into my stomach which is already full and it makes me feel like I'm really gonna hurl.

I know this sounds nuts (My husband and daughter both say it is.) and maybe I'm the only person who feels this sensation, but I was just wondering if anybody else has ever experienced this.

  • When we die and go to heaven?

Ok, I was just having another of my crazy OCD thoughts again, and here's what I was wondering -

Let's say a man and a woman get married. Life goes on and so on and so on. Then he dies for whatever reason (war, illness, etc.). Now he's in heaven and his wife is left behind mourning his death. A few years or more pass and she meets another man, they fall in love, they get married, live a life together and then he dies. Once again, he goes to heaven. She mourns his death too. Then one day she dies and goes to heaven also.

We always hear about seeing your family again someday. That you'll be together in heaven.

I'm just wondering, what happens in a situation like that? Where someone has been married before, possibly even multiple times. How does that work out? Are you going to be with all of them? How does that work?

  • What is the best website to advertise a classic car for sale on?

My husband wants me to place a for sale ad online for his 1965 Chrysler 300 non-letter series sport coupe convertible. I have been doing some searches and I have been thinking about Auto Trader Classics or Hemmings. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows which I should go with, if either. Thanks.

  • My triple berry bread didn't rise. Why not?

I've checked all the usual suspects. I just opened the baking powder, baking soda, sugar and flour. None are even close to being outdated as listed on the packaging. The recipe called for buttermilk, eggs, oil, and berries also. I can't figure this out. I had the same problem last week when I made banana bread, it didn't rise either. So I replaced the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar then, even though everything was well within dates then as well. Is it my oven, humidity, or what???? HELP!!

Also I should add that 2 weeks ago and 2 weeks before that I made banana bread that turned out perfect on the same flour as the batch that was bad. This makes me wonder.
