We are closing on our new home on the 18th. We are signing loan documents at the title company 7 days from the 8th.. what should I expect next? What is left to do?

I took apart my Western Digital World Book 1TB External Network Drive and am using the 1TB drive in it (Model WD10EAVS) in a external USB enclosure to make it into a USB external drive instead of a Network drive connected to a LAN cable to my router. (Much faster transfer rates via USB).

Its all put together now and the computer will not show the new drive in "my computer". When I click on properties under USB devices connected, it shows the model number and the size of the HD that is connected-(1TB)

I know that the HD is working since when I reconnect it to the network drive enclosure, it can read the files in it. Its only when I connect it to my USB external storage device it does not show in my computer.

I need to know if there is some sort of special software that is preventing it from showing up as a drive in my computer and how I can get this to work on USB.

If I apply for HB1 visa, pay the $2000+ in fees, and they reach the quota and do not get application in, do i get the paid fees back? this in not in the case of denial, just not getting in under the quota for each year. Do they take the application fees even if they dont review my visa?

There is a big build up to the New years day. Countdown, TV shows, News about new year and such.. Once the new year comes, we go back to work or school. How many more days should we continue to greet people with a "Happy New Year"? the 5th of Jan? the 10th? the 15th? Or is it all month long? Well Chinese new year comes in Feb. can a hospital that is paid for by me and my employer and I pay my own co-pay try to bill me for the full prorated amount of the care they provide if I settle with an insurance company that is admitting 50% fault?I got into a motorcycle accident. I did not go to the hospital in and ambulance. Due to some back pain, I used my own medical coverage with Kaiser Permanente I have through my work, Paid my own co-pay and had some physical therapy. Now, I get a bill from kaiser saying any payment from a insurance settlement will go towards paying the bill (billed for amount prorated) The insurance company that is paying for medical bills and pain and suffering is only paying me 50%. (50% at fault). The insurance company said they will cut me a check for the 50% of the bill amount and something on top for my pain and suffering. Can kaiser revenue recovery come after me for the full amount? How are they going to take money from my check thru work for my coverage, make me pay the co pay and then ask me for a pro rated bill amount?

Currently, Brazil has Alcohol/Methanol fuels at every gas station. (Required by the government) The price per gallon is half of what a gallon of gasoline costs. I saw a rent a car that is capable of taking Alcohol/Methanol or gasoline. I these alternative cars are not that much more to produce. Why doesnt the US have this alternative fuel, Alcohol/Methanol at gas stations? Why isnt the United States going for Alcohol/Methanol fuels?

I meet people from all walks of life in my job and I would say 1/2 of them have been arrested at one time or another in their lifetime. Maybe Im meeting the criminal element more because of the people I choose to talk to but I was just wondering what percentage of the US citizens have been arrested or been in jail at one time or another?
