  • Looking for a Windows 7 "NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M" Driver?

Hello, I am planning on downgrading my CPU to Windows 7 from Windows 8. It took me a while, but I think I have managed to find all the drivers but one.

The driver I am looking for is a display adapter called:

    NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M

    Date: 6/13/2013

    Version: 9.18.13.1183

I went to the manufacturers website: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Although whenever I tried to search for the specific driver, the button didn't seem to be doing anything for me. I think it's just a bug. Also, the "Auto-Detect Your GPU" feature isn't working at all.

I was just hoping someone on here could help a little.

I just want to know if there is a Windows 7 version of this driver, and if so, where can I find it?

Also, please no viruses. I'm not stupid.

  • Two small purple bumps on anus plus yellow stuff?

Just recently I noticed two small purple bumps on my anus, one is very small, and the other is about the size of a pea.

They are very firm and dark-purplish to black. They don't hurt, itch, burn, or bleed at all, even when using the restroom. The only reason I know they are there is because I can see them. There is also, some slight yellow colored stuff just underneath the surface of my anus.

It's been around a year and a half since I last engaged in anal intercourse. There is no history of cancer or other such diseases in my family that I know of. Also, I have been tested for STD's and I have none, I have never had one, and none of my past partners have any.

Anyone have any ideas for what this could be? Should I see a doctor? Is it serious? Will it go away on it's own?

  • What operating system should I get?

I'm planning on getting a new computer, I have everything worked out but what operating system I want.

I refuse to buy any Apple operating system for the lack of optimization and user control. There are other operating systems I like a lot (Like Linux) but they aren't as compatible with things I like to do on my computer.

The only operating systems I have ever found use out of are the Windows operating systems. I was going to get a Windows 8 computer but after hearing really bad things about it and trying it out for myself, I've decided I want to avoid it like the plague. But, at the same time, I also don't like Windows 7. I still have constant maintenance problems with it today, and the interface tends to make no sense sometimes. It's extremely annoying to deal with.

So, I started reminiscing about the older Windows operating systems and how easy and simple they were compared to the new ones. The I began to wonder if I should just get a new computer then install an old version of windows on it. I mean, why not? What exactly are the differences between the current version of Windows and the older one's, other than visual and layout changes? If you would recommend it, which version should I get? WindowsXP, Windows 98, Windows 2000, what?

Or, should I get a different operating system, that perhaps I haven't heard of or considered?

I do a decent amount of gaming and modding, I like Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, Bioshock, Half Life 2, Portal, Minecraft Etc. I also listen to a substantial amount of music, I use Foobar2000 for that. I absolutely do not use any social media websites (Unless you count email, Steam, and YouTube.). Also, I use my CPU for school a lot so I need access to good document editors, and Firefox. Other than that I don't have any use for other features and I don't care about how user friendly the operating system is as long as it is efficient.

Also, don't tell me to design my own operating system. I don't have the patience or time to learn to do that.

  • Windows 8 login-in page question?

My brother is accusing me of trying to log into his computer. I didn't, but his evidence for this is the fact that before he left the log-in page was switched over to picture-password mode and when he came back it was switched over to ordinary password mode. I don't know what cause it, but I want to prove that I didn't do it. So I wanted to ask, is it possible for the log-in page to switch modes on it's own, or for him to accidentally do it without noticing?

  • What does the /) emoticon mean?

I see people use this emoticon a lot, although I don't really know what it means.

I think it looks like a shark fin, although that wouldn't make any sense contextually.

  • How to fix a weird Firefox YouTube glitch?

I used to use Google Chrome for everything, but more recently I had to install Firefox to run a program that only functioned with it.

After playing with the browser I find that I quite like it over Google Chrome, it is easier to use, simple and intuitive to understand, and it doesn't shove apps and redundant social media features in my face 24/7.

Everything worked fine for the first few weeks, but then all of a sudden YouTube videos started having several massive bugs.

Sometimes randomly the video I'm watching freezes and the only way to fix it is to reload the page, and on longer videos this likely happens several times and I have to keep reloading over and over to the point that it isn't even worth it. Also, my connection is much worse and videos tend to buffer a lot.

I checked, and I'm not having these same problems on Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. It also doesn't happen with other video websites like Twitch, or Blip. It's just YouTube.

I have a few add-on's installed: Adblock Plus, avast! Online Security, Double-click To Reload Tab (by Linh Phung), Master Password+ (by V@no), Twitter and Facebook Disconnect (by Disconnect), Webutation, and YouTube Video Replay (by Baris Derin).

I should note that I have all of these add-on's installed and many more on Google Chrome and I'm not experiencing any problems there.

I'd like to know what's causing my problem and if there is anything I can do to fix it.

  • How to make (In-game) money on Team Fortress 2?

I enjoy tf2 and play it regularly, I've been playing the game and getting random drops for a few years now. And, recently I sold most of everything I wasn't using for around 8 - 9 refined metal. And, at the current rate I'm going it could take me years to get any significant amount more.

I was just wondering if there are any faster ways to make money in TF2 (without spending real money on the game, or playing it obsessively/nonstop for months)?

I don't like the way that things are overpriced in the game, but there still are a few pricey items that I want. And, I've always thought it would be cool if I could get the money to buy those things without having to spend any real-life money. I know that there must be some sort of easy method, otherwise there wouldn't be so many people with that much more money than I.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some helpful tips or advice or something.

  • Everything I learned this year was pointless, why?

I spent the entire year learning about physics, then when I got to the testing it was almost completely nothing but life science questions.

I spent the whole year learning everything about chemistry equations, and the basic laws of quantum mechanics, then I got questions like "What is this fossil?" and "Which of these creatures is an arachnid?".

What happened? Who do I blame for this, my teacher or the people who issue out the tests? My other tests were accurate to what I learned, why wasn't this one? Actually, no, I did get like one very simple physics question but that's it.

I'm not looking for people who know what happened, I just want theories.

  • Why isn't there a mathematical formula for finding square root?

Every method for finding square root that I have ever heard always consists of a lot of guesswork and simple math executed in repetition. Mostly, you need to do it intuitively. Why isn't there some sort of formula for finding it? A formula that you could just apply to any number and always come out with the square root?

Like how pi multiplied by the diameter of a circle always equals the circumference(2πr, or πd), and the square length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is always equal to the square of the lengths of the other two sides(a2 + b2 = c2).

Mathematicians come up with equations for things all the time, why can't we do that with square root. Or is there a formula for finding square root that I have never heard of before?

Either way, I would like to know.

  • Should I clear my cookies?

My computer is running just fine, however Google Chrome has been a little slow lately.

So, I found the place where I could delete cookies and there are a LOT of them. Hundreds.

And I was wondering if I should clear them all. I know what they are for, and I don't want to have to re-enter all my site information (Some of which is very important), but at the same time I don't want to go through all of them.

Should I just ignore them, or should I delete them all?

  • Why can't anything with a moving part generate energy?

I was driving my car when I started to wonder why don't we just attach a generator to the wheels and harness the energy of the wheel's movement? Generators work by converting the kinetic energy of movement into electrical energy, don't they? In fact, why don't we just do that with every device that has a moving part?

I know that no device would be able to generate enough energy to power itself. Although for example:

Lets say we had something that took 12 volts of electricity to run and had a moving part. We could attach a generator and harvest maybe 1 - 3 volts of energy, then reuse that energy and cycle it back into the circuit and say that the device technically only uses 12 volts of electricity to get started, then 9 volts to keep it running.

It reduces the amount of energy a machine needs to run by reusing some of it.

Although, I assume that this doesn't work because if it did, people would be using it. I just want to know, why not?

  • Why do so many people hate The Big Bang Theory?

When other sitcoms come out, normally people who follow sitcoms discuss whether or not they like it with a few groups of third party people casually poking fun at it.

But, The Big Bang Theory isn't really like that. There's a huge group of people that absolutely love it and there's another huge group that hates it and constantly makes fun of it. The people who hate it seem to really passionately dislike it and go out of their way to make fun of it and it's fans, and get really upset with people who like the show.

I've seen the sitcom and I think it's pretty funny, but I don't really see any reason to hate it.

Whenever I discuss the show I'm often bombarded with hate by people with an extreme distaste for The Big Bang Theory. Or I'm patted on the back for liking it.

What I want to know is why do people react so extremely to The Big Bang Theory over any other sitcoms? What is it? What's so special?

  • I hear a rumor about the Rubik's Cube, is it true?

I heard that if you start with a solved cube, then just repeat the algorithm U' R' D' L' the cube will eventually return to the solved position. I tried this for about 30 minutes with no luck, but I heard that it takes a long time.

I just wanted to know, is it true?

  • Help with solving the Rubik's Cube Revenge?

I've been trying to learn how to solve the 4x4x4 Rubik's cube. I already know how to solve the 2x2x2 and the 3x3x3. I'm not planning on break any records or anything, I just want to know how to solve it.

So, I've been practicing and I found a bunch of helpful tutorials.

I know how to solve the centers of the cube, and how to solve the corners. But, I can't figure out how to solve the edges.

All the tutorials I've found way over complicate it for me. I'm extremely confused. I was wondering if anyone could give me some good and simple tutorials or just explain how to solve the edges directly as a response to this. I would really appreciate the help.

    Thank you in advance.
