  • Anyone else have Hyperprolactinaemia?

I was diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia. I was wondering if any of you have been diagnosed with the same, and if you have had any luck with trying to conceive? I am currently taking bromocriptin to level out my prolactin. I just wonder how others cope with this?

  • Question about Irregular Periods & PCOS?

I have highly irregular periods. I was on the birth control pill (Which I was on for regulation) and since going off in December my periods 'regulated' to every other month.

There was a glitch in my system and now I haven't had a period since june. (This isn't the first time this has happened. When this happened before going on the pill in 07, I went 3 months w/o a period then when it did start, it didn't stop for 6 months. My Doctor put me on the pill. Which stopped the bleeding AND regulated me.)

I don't know if this sounds like PCOS symptoms. We were trying to have a baby with no luck.

Has anyone else experienced this and been diagnosed with PCOS?

The symptoms I saw online stated Hairgrowth, weight gain, acne, and irregular periods.

I do have the Irregular periods, but that is my only symptom.

    any advice?

  • Question about Adopted Children's Feelings...?

I have always wanted to adopt a child. However, I have read the book The Mistress's Daughter by A.M. Homes. I've also read several posts on here from adopted children that seem to have a somewhat negative slant towards the adoptive parents or maybe the adoption process in general.

How do people who were adopted feel about it? Is it a postive or negative experience? Do they have hostility towards their birth parents and/or their adoptive parents? Do they always feel they can't identify with one or the other? OR do they specifically identify with biological as opposed to adoptive parents (or vice versa)?

What do adoptive parents need to do to help their children?

If we do adopt, I want to make sure we understand these issues truly so that we can assist the child through any emotional issues as much as possible.

  • Faulty Pregnancy Test Question...?

I had light spotting on Thursday. I thought I had gotten my period, as it is late for the month. (I am irregular, only having a cycle every other month) But it only lasted one day, and was very light pink. I took a target brand One Step Test. The "test" portion of the test came back negative. But the Control line never appeared. My question is, even though there was no control line, is the negative result still valid?

  • Should I go with Saltwater or freshwater fish?

I like the vibrant colors of saltwater fish, and I would like to have a salt water aquarium, but I am worried about the difficulties in having fish like that. i'm not afraid of the work that it involves, I just don't want to not be prepared for it. I have had freshwater fish previously and had a lot of luck with them. Any advice?

Can it be due to switching pills, or could it indicate something worse?

  • My cat and her litter box?

My cat has never had any issues with NOT going in her litter box, until recently. I was using scoop away litter for YEARS, and saw Feline Pine, and heard how it was 'safer' for the cat. I bought a bag, and did the gradual mix in that the package suggested.

She HATED the feline pine, but went relunctantly in her litter box. I bought a box of scoop away, and did the switch back to that.

She is now going under the piano bench.

I tried moving the lid off of her litter box, in case she was 'confused'

    Nothing is working.

How do I get her to go in her litter box again? Will she forever go under the piano bench now?
