Should I train to work in child care if Im pregnant?
I have a 5yo who will be starting school next year and a almost 4yo who will be starting kindy. For the last couple of months I have been giving a lot of thought of what I should do and have decided to study and get work as a child care worker...
However i have recently found out that Im pregnant with our third (this is a very good thing though)
Is it worth while for me to study before i have the baby, will anyone be willing to hire a pregnant woman and what would be the chances of me being able to have my child with me at the place that I work???
Have you or do you know of anyone that has been in this situation or one similar before, and what were your/their outcome?
I have been a sahm since my first was born, 5yrs ago

2 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoBaby #3... Suprise!!!?
A few months ago my husband and I decided to try for another baby. After a few dissapointments we decided to give up on it for a while, ( I was starting to believe that it wouldnt happen for us again), A few days ago I discovered that I am pregnant.. even though I am happy,( i feel that i should be) I cant help but feel a little aprehensive. for the first time i am actually scared and concerned for my other two. I have such a close bond with them and fear that the attention the new baby will get will have a huge impact. But my main concern is the age gap they will have. My first two only have 17 months apart but this one will have 6 years with the eldest and 4 1/2 with the youngest. I have always wanted all my children to be close, will this one be left out?? Have you had children with 5 or more years age gap and how do they get along???
4 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoWhy aren't they playing Remember Me at the cinema?
Ive been keeping an eye out for the session times for the movie Remember Me with Robert Pattinson at my local cinema but there dont seem to be any sessions at all. Not at my local, or in any cinemas in the state! Could they have taken it off before theyve even had a chance to show it.... I mean how bad could it have really been, and what is this controversial ending that everyone is going on about..? I dont mind spoilers, if I dont get to watch it at the movies then it doesnt really matter does it :(
1 AnswerOther - Music1 decade agoHow can stop my 3yo son from wetting himself deliberately when he is already toilet trained?
I have a 3yo boy who wont go to the toilet at home when he needs to do a wee. He is fully toilet trained and has been for about 3 months, but for the last few weeks he just stands in the middle of the floor and goes where he is. A number two he will go to the toilet for, after he has wee'd himself first. He will use the toilet if we are at someone elses house or shopping... this only happens at home.... I dont understand it and its driving me crazy.
Im not sure if he's doing it for attention... i give him plenty.
Ive tried disciplin, doesnt work, Ive tried not making a big deal about it so he's not getting the attention he wants, (you know the reward good behaviour, ignore the bad routine) that doesnt work either. I know its not a health problem, if it was he would be doing it everywhere...
Has anyone had a situation like this.. if so how did you resolve it...?
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoShould I put my toddler in a bed when Im nearly due for another baby?
Im 35 weeks pregnant and I also have a 16mth old who is still in his cot. I have a bassinet for the newborn to go into but wont stay in for long. Should I move my toddler in a normal bed now, or should I wait till a little later? Im worried about him coming out at all hours or me having a hard time trying to get him to go to sleep when he knows he can easily get out. My cousin has offered me to buy her 4 year old's cot so there will be no rush to get my toddler out of his. Also both cots convert into junior beds so they can be in it until theyre 4yo or so. Should I cough up an extra $100 for another cot/junior bed and not worry about moving toddler out yet or should I move him out now before the next baby comes. Id love to hear from mothers who have had a similar problem and what you did about it.
7 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoKeeping Love Birds outdoors...is it safe in hot weather?
A few months ago we purchased a pair of love birds from the pet store and the sales lady said it wasnt advised that we keep them outside as they are used to being indoors.
For the past couple of months we have been keeping them outside as they can get pretty loud (waking my baby up from his sleep) and they seem to be fine, but I bring them in if the weather is more than 35 degrees celcius.
The issue now is that they have laid a few eggs in which four have hatched therefore we will need a bigger cage for them and we wont be able to bring it in the house.
If they are kept outside on a permanent basis what are their chances of survival in the hot weather? Are we better off selling the younger two pairs and just keep the pair we started off with or will they be ok?... I really dont want to keep them if the result is them dying.
6 AnswersBirds1 decade agoMy baby wont let me change his nappy!!?
Nappy changing has become a nightmare ever since my baby turned 12mths old. He wont lie still long enough for me to do what is needed and is constantly turning over and sitting up on his change table and standing up against the wall as soon as I lie him down to change him. Dressing him is the same problem. Ive tried doing this on the floor but I have the same problem, he turns and crawls away. Ive tried giving him different things to keep him distracted but doesnt show any interest. He just wants to be on the go. Hes discovered the blind cord by the window and constantly reaches for it but I cant change his nappy while hes standing. Is this normal behaviour for a 12mth old, or do I have a hyperactive baby?
10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoWhat middle name goes well with Zoe?
Im having a baby girl and I really love the name Zoe, the only poblem is that our surname also begins with "Z" so I need something to break it up. In my coulture we are not known to have middle names but this can be an exception. Its a long surname consisting of 11 letters so the first and middle names have to be short. Any suggestions would be appreciated, but I cant have Marie as a middle name as there are too many people I know that have already used it.
44 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoWhats the best way to clean mould from your shower, chemical free?
I have a build up of mould and soap scum in my shower and am having a hard time trying to clean it off. Ive used nearly every product and nothing seems to work. I hate having to use bleach or products containing bleach as I am pregnant and find that it tends to get to me a bit. Does anyone know of a product that is safe to use, preferably chemical free and one that will give good and long lasting results?

12 AnswersPhilosophy1 decade agoWhy does the US separate nationalities?
I find it hard understanding why African Americans are called African Americans and Latin Americans are called Latin Americans when they are all just American.
Im from Australia with a Greek background and Ive never been called a Greek Australian, even though we have Africans migrating here we dont call them African Australians.
Once we are here, this is our home whether we were born here or migrated. We are all Australian no matter where we come from.
So why does America separate people by their colour, when they are all Americans?

Im 7wks pregnant and I keep dreaming of my husband cheating on me with beautiful women, mostly models or hookers. I find this strange considering I never have dreams like this, but did with my last pregnancy also. What does me being pregnant have to do with dreams of my hubby cheating?

2 AnswersMovies1 decade agoDo you think the orthodox religion is sexist? Only Orthodox to answer please.?
In Greek Orthodox religion the woman cant wear pants in church, cannot go behind the altar but men can, and they cant kiss the icons if they have their period because they say its dirty. Personally I think its a male dominated religion thats stupid. How are we dirty by having our period if God himself made us that way, and why would God be mad at us if we wore pants to church? Its just clothing, its not like were going in mini skirts to offend anyone...or are these priests just afraid of getting a hard on if they see a nice butt in tight pants?
What do you think about this and if there is good reason behind it could you please explain it?

Some say she was a deciple of Jesus but was erased from all scriptures because she was a woman. I think its possible that she was, why not? What do you think?
