The University of Washington does not have an undergrad program for elementary education, only a masters in teaching. Thus, I have looked into linguistics. (I'll most likely get a master's in teaching either way) I want to be a second or third grade teacher and I'd be getting a minor in ASL, but would linguistics be at all helpful for what I want to do? Has anyone taken linguistics that could give me an opinion on how they like(d) it? What are the classes like and what do they consist of? Any information is helpful and appreciated.

I'm filling out an application online for Old Navy, and this would be my first job. It's asking for at least 1 work experience entry, but I don't have any work experience. I can't fill out the rest of the application until I have a start date entered for work experience (month and year). What should I enter? It's a drop-down menu, so I can't type N/A. Any ideas?

I got my left helix pierced at a parlor about two months ago (with a needle), and the first two or so weeks it was sore. I know that was normal, and the soreness went away. But about two weeks ago it started getting sore again. Now it hurts when I sleep on it again. I clean it daily, and I can move it around just fine. Whenever I touch it or tug on my ear a little, it hurts. Does anyone know why this could be? I know cartilage takes at least a year to fully heal, but why did it start to hurt again?

I discovered it maybe yesterday.The lump feels a bit sore when I touch it, and it is no larger than a dime. I read online that it could be a swollen lymph node, perhaps due to ear infection. I just got my helix (ear cartilage) pierced a few days ago, and I was wondering if that could have anything to do with it?

I'm not sure which one to get. The thing that makes me unsure is that that Ipod has so many accessories, docks, cases, skins, etc, and apps. I'm not going to but one for the apps though. I want it for music and videos. I know the Zune has great sound and display. The no speaker is really no problem though. I've had a zune before and I loved it, I like the OS. But my dad has an Iphone, and it's pretty cool. The Zune is also a little cheaper. The Zune also has Gorilla Glass, so the screen wont break very easily, and I know alot of people who have Ipods that are cracked or broken from being dropped a few times. Which should I get?

I turn on my ds lite, i select the r4 program, and it loads fine. then i select the game menu and it opens the file. then it just stops responding to anything. i push a few buttons, i touch the sreen, i use the arrow, but nothing works. it just stays on the first game available, and i cant even play that one. I already updated the firmware, and i saw the new icon for it, but i still cant do anything on it. does anyone know why?? What can/should i do to fix it? thanks

she's christian, and she brought me and my siblings up as christians, too. but i dont even know if i believe in god. i dont want to go. she gets mad whenever i dont want to go, and she says that "shes my mom and i dont have a choice". i know she cant make me believe in anything, and i do have a choice. but im supposed to do what she says. what am i supposed to do?

I read online, here, that if my camera doesnt take pictures with flash, that the battery is probably dead. so i charged it and it didnt work. i kept trying that but it never worked. so i decided to order a new battery online.. i charged it and it still doesnt work... has anyone had this problem? whats wrong with it??
