hey everyone :)

pretty much i am a college student with a part time (4-6 days a week) nannying job.

i started this summer making really good money(not on the books) from the family until one

day about 4 week ago the lady i work for told me because she is a lawyer she wants to pay

me on the books...so pretty much now i am busting my *** (i pick the kids up,go grocery shopping,organize there closets,cook dinner,give baths,fold tons of laundry its endless) and

now i have taxes taken out...as a struggling college student i cant bear this anymore. i am

planning on emailing her before the weekend is over asking if she could pay me just straight

cash because these taxes are killing me... FOR EXAMPLE this week i only work two days

which was abou $136 with taxes it will be $100 if i am lucky. can anyone give me some advice

on how to approach this situation? THANK YOU-DANI

okay heres the thing i just need some advice on how to approach this situation:

mainly yesterday was my birthday.my boyfriend and i have been together for a little over a year.our first chirstmas together we both went crazy spending on gifts for eachother.so when it came to my birthday he got me nothing(i told him this was okay)...anyway just like xmas birthdays are just as big (so i thought) this october was his birthday and i spent $200 on tons of stuff for him and then xmas came and another $200 was spent...this xmas he gave me a $150 bracelet which i really appreciated but heres the thing...so yesterday was my birthday and he only gave me flowers and a card.

i am so greatful for the flowers and card but WHY should i be spending all of this money if i dont get the same in return. He has way more responsibilities then me(paying car insurance,cell phone bill etc.)while handling school and work. but i feel like its unfair---should i confront him on this? its been bothering me on weather or not i should confront him because i dont want to seem spoiled. im just confused because i work for my money as well...
