  • MTU Setting Too Low For Xbox Live at 1500?

I am having difficulty connecting to games over Xbox Live, and keep getting kicked offline. When I run a connection test on my Xbox, it tells me that the problem is that my MTU setting is too low (below a minimum of about 1300). However, when I go to my internet router's admin panel, it shows that my MTU setting is at 1500, well over the minimum setting. Does anybody know of a way around this problem, a different setting that I can change, etc?

  • Can games purchased over PSN be downloaded onto both PSP and PS3?

I downloaded some games onto my PSP. Now I have a PS3, and since both systems are using the same PSN account I was wondering if it is possible for me to re-download the games that I originally bought for the PSP onto my PS3, and if so, how?

They're PSOne classics, not PSP exclusive games.

  • Otocinclus eating habits...?

I have a freshwater community tank which includes a pair of Otocinclus catfish. They seem to be doing okay - I give them zucchini to eat about once a week, and the rest of the time they do on flake food - but I'm concerned because there's little to no algae growth in the tank for them to feed on.

My question is whether they would benefit from being fed an algae wafer once or twice a week (or more often, if it's a good idea). My father, who has kept tropical fish for many years, seemed to remember hearing that it wouldn't be beneficial, but wasn't quite sure whether it was because the Otos just wouldn't be interested in eating the algae wafers or if it would actually be harmful to them.

Does anyone have experience with Otos/know whether this would be okay to do?

  • CD/DVD Drive Problem?

    I have a Toshiba A205-S5000 laptop.

When I put in either a CD, DVD or PC disc, my computer sounds like it's trying to read the disc, but does not AutoRun, and the disc does not appear in My Computer.

I have checked the Toshiba website for driver updates, thinking that that may be the problem, but so far have not found anything to fix this problem.

Does anybody know what the problem might be, and/or know how to fix it? Thank you.

  • Question for those who are already tattooed?

In your opinion, is the difference in pain level between getting a tattoo around your wrist as a bracelet compared to a tattoo on a fleshier place *very* significantly different? I would like to get my tattoo design as a bracelet, and I have a moderately high tolerance for pain, but if it would be VERY much more painful than getting it elsewhere I may opt to have it done on my arm instead, since it will be my first tattoo.

I would very much appreciate any input from people who have experience with this.

  • Help installing new bicycle pedals?

I recently bought a new bicycle. I assembled it myself and everything seemed to be working fine. After riding it for a short time, though, the right pedal came off. It looks as though the threads are entirely stripped. I ordered new pedals, and am having trouble screwing them in. Does anybody know what I can do to properly install the new pedals? I don't want to end up trying to force them and stripping a perfectly good new set of pedals.

  • Refilling an out-of-state prescription?

I have a recurring prescription with refills. The prescription is from New York, but I will be moving to Florida soon. Will I still be able to get my refills on this prescription, or will I need to schedule a Dr. appointment down there to get a new prescription?

  • Refilling an out-of-state prescription?

I have a recurring prescription with 11 refills on it. I will be moving from New York, where the prescription was written, to Florida, in a few weeks. Will I need to obtain a new prescription for my medication in Florida, or will I be able to continue to get refills on my existing NY prescription?

  • How to housebreak a cat?

My cat refuses to pee in her litter box. The box is kept very clean, and her sister has no problem using it. She will pee on the floor in front of the box; she does her other business in the box, though. Moving the box's location is not really an option.

Does anyone know anything I can do to convince the cat to use her litter box? Thank you.

  • How strong is a dental cap/crown?

I am having a crown fitted over a broken front tooth next week, and was wondering if anybody has personal experience with having crowned teeth. How strong are they? Will I be able to safely bite into an apple without having to worry about it coming off/breaking, for example? I'm worried about this because my dentist has already put a temporary crown over the tooth, which came off, requiring an emergency dental visit. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

  • How would you decide the best style of glasses frames to complement face shape?

How would you decide the best style of glasses frames to complement face shape?

I'm going to be getting a new set of glasses frames tomorrow, and I'd like your advice on how to choose the right shape/color of frames for my face. What shape of frame would you say suits what shape of face? As someone with a pale complexion, what sort of color scheme would be most flattering? Do you have any tips for choosing a moderately bold set of frames without looking garish?

This is a photo of me, to show you the shape of my face and my general coloring: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y179/papier_mache...

My current glasses are silver half-frames with wide rectangular lenses. I think that they look pretty good on me, but would like something with a little more personality (while suiting my face).

What might you suggest I look for in a new set of frames? Shape, color, style, etc.? I'd appreciate some input!
