Alright so there's this commercial I saw on youtube waiting to watch another video of Jim Gaffigan holding this skateboard and talking about how he loves the shoes and then later says how he doesn't even like going outside.

Where can I find this commercial if anyone knows what I'm talking?

Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.

  • When you rate someone 1-10...?

What number and higher would you allow yourself to date/pursue?

How would you rate your own appearance on a 1-10 scale?

What is your self-esteem on a 1-10 scale?

Unless you think you can only get it with people you think are 1s, which is quite depressing.

    My personal answer:

    7

    9

    10

Thanks alot, all answers would be greatly appreciated.

  • ACT rounding question?

I took the ACT back in march or april and was wondering how they specifically score it.

    I got a 29, 32, 31, 25 averaging to a 29.25 and I got a 29

So I was wondering if I got a 29.5 would they round it up to a 30? Or if i got a 29.75 average would they round it down to a 29 since its not quite 30?

I'm asking this because I just took the test again today.

  • Love vs. Superlike???

Love is more than an emotion I know that. It's more about commitment.

Hollywood dramatizes a love in movies and TV shows that is more like "puppy love" than true love. It's hard to explain or show on TV a man who would die for his wife.

Superlike is more about emotions, it seems. There's a spark in superlike where love lasts forever.

It's all very confusing to type out, but what do you think?

  • Is sex better when you're in love?

I know a good amount of love-making is mental, and I could see where the basis of this question comes from.

But I need an answer from somebody who's had both meaningless sex and sex with the person they love, is there really a difference?

and what kind of difference? please explain

Thanks a lot for any answers

  • MENSA hype for naught?

My dad carries around his little Mensa membership card in his wallet, and I read the magazine he gets from them (it's quite good)

But, is that whole society just arrogant people who can answer some silly questions correctly. I know it's the top 2% and they have their own test, but does it mean anything? Or is it just other people hero-worshiping?

I think the whole thing is a little pompous and ridiculous.

    your thoughts?

  • Definition of Terrorist? of Torture?

When we define our captured prisoners as humans, people think of their general conception of the human race. It also has a positive annotation, and people don't usually think of murderers and rapists in the same perspective. Consciences come into play here because these "humans" seem to be far away from the war we're fighting.

Yet, when we define these prisoners as terrorists, it's easier . But, this has a completely negative annotation, seeing these people as monsters who slaughter women, children, and each other with no reason. Many are. Many are leaders captured and checked multiple times for identification. The leaders who draw in starving men from the poppy field with dreams of riches and eternity. But, without a trial of any sort, we cannot disconnect those who have information and those who are the pawns and peons of the organizations.

All Americans want to kill these terrorists in the battlefield when they're being fired upon, but when we have a defenseless man incarcerated in Guantanamo Bay, it doesn't seem fair or right to just kill or hurt him outright. It's easy when our boys are across the ocean fighting a war, but when people have to make hard decisions here at home (many who don't even like the effort), it's awkward and uncomfortable.

People need to realize that we're fighting a war, and that we have to use some techniques at times to save lives. But, those at the other side need to understand the viewpoint of democrats who see movies and the media, people who just want everyone to be happy and safe. While misdirected, it's a compassionate stand against injustices against those who can't defend themselves.

thanks if you read all this instead of just closing the window

  • Before the Big Bang? God?

Can Thomas Aquinas's Christian adaptation of Aristotle's "First Mover" really be God?

I know that his five proofs in the Summa Theologiae were weak explanations on account of universal belief in God in his era, but I still see I strong argument underneath.

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, this involves the arguement that there has to have been some first efficient cause to cause the first effect (currently argued to be the "big bang"). He ends all his proofs as "this cause is what we come to know as God."

How do scientists respond to such a question as what came before? It sounds like a more philosophical question, and most seem to believe a stark beginning over an infinite past.

Any thoughts from anybody here? Maybe I can find the answer to all things here on Yahoo answers :D

  • Is empty space still existence?

So I was thinking about existence and nonexistence and the imperfect physical world.

Our universe is composed of things that exist (the earth, for example) and places that have the potential for something to exist (space).

Scientists have determined that our universe has a limit, it is a certain size at any given time (its expansion is besides the point). Outside this universe is nothing. Anything past this limit is nonexistence. There are not even spaces of emptiness.

One example of the "space" i'm taking about is the stretch of nothing between planets, just blackness.

So my question is if there is no space in nonexistance, then should we consider the empty space in our universe to exist?

  • Whats yo numba? huh? advice?

hey, I see this girl once a week for these certification classes and we only have two more meetings.

See the thing is, she's always hanging out with five of her girl school friends in our group.

How can I ask her number or ask her out without getting all these other girls involved or oogly. I really don't care about any of them but her.

She scurries off after the teachings and it's a small place so getting her alone is near impossible.

Any help? Thanks a lot for any answers :D

  • I love girls, I just want to like them?

I can't help it, but I flirt with every girl I meet, even the ones I'm not into.

It's nothing bad, I don't really even touch them that much. But sometimes I have to stop myself and tell myself to hold up, I don't even know her. Every single girl flirts back, even the shy ones, so that's no help. Haha, I'm not a creep, I just have a certain personality that leads to massive flirting.

I don't have a girlfriend, so there's no real restrictions now except my own. I just don't want to flirting with some girl I'm really into, then have her see me later laughing and complimenting another girl I really don't care about.

I really don't want to be a player, I want just one girl (haven't met her yet though). I'd never cheat. So my question is how to limit myself so the girl I really care about won't be angry with me.

There's a guy in a shirt and tie reading the instructions to some preserved food product (the main thing presented in the commercial) and he's like

Step one, put it in the microwave for thirty seconds

then this other guy goes, "woah woah woah, what is that Japanese?"

and it's supposed to be how easy it is to prepare it and yada yada.

  • 40points for right answer! Algebraic Tricky Problem?

i'm not sure if this is allowed, if it isn't then tell me and I'll only give 10points for this question

But I've asked this same question here:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Al5jC...

    here:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai3XF...

    and here:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200811...

If you get this answer right and post in the other 3 links then I'll give you the best answer in all four questions. Again, I'm not sure if it's legal, and if it's not, then I won't

I'm just testing yahoo answers to see who here actually knows what they're talking about (at least in higher algebra)

Here's a link to a moderately hard advanced algebra problem, it can be tricky if you think you know what your talking about when you don't. It basically focuses on people's understanding of exponents.

    http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/9964/guessgw9.p...

I'll post an answer soon enough, Go for it!

I just don't like people posting answers to other questions when they don't understand the concepts

I'm getting an answer from this question even if its not the mathematical answer
