I enjoy offering sound suggestions based on knowledge and personal experience. I enjoy answering questions in the pets and health categories, but explore others as well. I never try to be a substitute for a true professional of the field, though. I also don't give stupid answers and I don't answer stupid questions. Hope I can help some people out there! • My cat has dandruff, but is allergic to salmon oil. What else can I try?

My 5 year old cat has always gotten dry skin and dandruff in the winter. It's starting already. I used to give her salmon oil and it worked beautifully until she developed an allergy to it. Now I have to avoid all salmon ingredients all together.

I was hoping for some suggestions from people who use other products to combat dry winter skin in their cats. Anything you've found to be helpful which contains no salmon ingredients. I'm doing my own research, but if anyone out there has suggestions based on experience, that would be very helpful to me.

    Thank you folks!
