Any you can think of.

It looks like a stubby recorder but with two ends, one for each hand to hold. If it's a real instrument, what is it called? I must have one.

I don't usually care about whether someone's going to drink in college or not, but when I found out last night that my friend wants to, I sort of freaked out. She's really smart and cute and has a ton going for her, and being a highschooler I've seen enough "Alcohol is bad" videos to bore anyone half to death and know of every worst case scenario. I told my friend that alcohol is expensive, and if she got drunk she'd just do a bunch of crap she'd regret later and wake up with a hangover. Plus there's also the chance of alcoholism and death. She said she didn't see why not to drink, and as you could probably tell we sort of got into a fight, and I dunno what to think.

What's your take on this?

Tell me anything and everything about your opinions on this. Understand it as the beginning of a book, or at least the chapter introducing this character. Nearly all of this was written a few minutes ago and I'm tired so I apologize for any horribleness you might encounter.

Here goes-

Avery woke beneath his bed. This wasn’t quite surprising as one should expect it to be, but then again, it wasn’t the first time. He lay there, seemingly lost in thought until the alarm clock on his dresser went off with a hurried beeping. Grunting slightly and making other typical morning sounds, he rolled onto his front and slowly made his way out from under the bed. The alarm clicked off.

He took his shower first, humming the tune of his favorite song all the while. Occasionally a lyric or two would be thrown in, when memory could find the words. Breakfast was for the most part a silent affair. After literally licking the crumbs off his plate and downing the rest of his milk, he went on to the rest of his morning things. An hour and three minutes after waking up, Avery Fulke was ready for school.

We were friends for about a year, I got mad at her for some stupid thing, a year later we become friends again. We start texting a lot, and talk on the phone too. We hang out and just walk around for three hours talking, laughing, eating ice cream. We both have a ton of fun. Two days later we text throughout the entire day until after dark when we start talking on the phone. We had so much fun, and absolutely loved each other's company. The day after I tell her I think I like her, and she tells me she likes me. We don't make it official, we prefer it that way. Only a little while after this I start to lose interest. I know she's fun, but I've just been surrounded by her presence so much that I need a break.

Do you think I'm right? Or am I one of those idiots who only want what is beyond their grasp?

I feel like I'm gunna barf and the very thought of food makes my stomach cry :(

4. "If you could name it you could master it, maybe, little wizard. Maybe I could tell you its name, when I see it close by. And it will come close, if you wait about my isle. It will come wherever you come. If you do not want it to come close you must fun, and run, and keep running from it. And yet it will follow you. Would you like to know its name?"

The title pretty much says it all. I've seen just about all the online suggestions, so if you have any unusual ideas I'd love to hear them.

Because I'm lacking...
