So I recently started dating a boy in college. He's 22 and I'm 18. It's only been about maybe two or so months since we started seeing each other and I'm thinking of getting him a Christmas present. He really loves the movie Office Space and I was thinking of getting him the red stapler Milton uses throughout the movie and some "flair" buttons.

Would this be cute or kinda lame? Any thoughts of what else I could get him?

He's from Maui and loves seafood and he also loves the movie Terminator 2 and the Dexter's Lab movie Ego Trip. He's big on politics and thinks Ron Paul is pretty great. He's also an editor in newspaper.

I'm a freshman at UC Santa Barbara and I have been living in the dorms for a little over a week. So far, three things have happened that have been dragging me down.

1. My roommate and I found a note that said HMU (hit me up) with a phone number, a condom, and lubricant

2. A boy comes into my room and lays down on the bed asking to take a nap there without asking. He says you're cute while randomly talking and then blurts out I'M A VIRGIN and later asks to kiss me. I tell him I have a boyfriend, he curses something under his breath and leaves.

3. I come back to my desk where I find yet another note with a room number on it that says " Come over ;) " with yet another condom.

I feel really gross about this. My time in college has not been as fun as I had hoped and now I don't want to leave my room. I told my RA but she told me to just write it off as a prank. It's really affecting me and I can't stop thinking about it.

This is sexual harassment right? And what should I do? I feel really gross about it and sometimes I just want to cry.

So nearly 5 months ago I received a citation for a moving violation (1 pt infraction) in Newport Beach in Orange County, California. I paid my fine before the due date and I was offered traffic school with a due date in late September.

Well, I am incoming college freshman and to be honest, I completely forgot about traffic school. I was signing up for one when it asked for my citation number and I realized both my ticket and the official letter from the court was nowhere to be found (probably thrown away).

I tried contacting the orange county court but could not get through to anyone for 2 hours. It led me in circles. I tried looking up my case online and could not find myself with my name. If it matters, I was a minor at the time (17) since I turned 18 this summer. I even tried signing up on the DMV and looking up my driving record but it says I'm clean.

I know my due date for traffic school is coming up, but I don't know what day it is and I don't know my citation number to sign up for traffic school. To make things more complicated, I move to college 3 hours from my home and 4 hours from the court who issued my citation.

Does anyone have any advice? What should I do? I feel like just leaving the point on my record (the only infraction I've ever had) since insurance doesn't increase until 2 points in my state and I can take traffic school when if I get another infraction.

So basically I'm now transitioning into a struggling/poor college student. I'm pretty broke at the moment.

So about late April I went on a trip and ended up getting a bit sick with a cough. I coughed pretty violently and usually some green colored phlegm would come up. Eventually the severity of the coughing (the painfulness of it anyways) has calmed down and I no longer cough up phlegm.

However the cough has not gone away :(

I was thinking it was bronchitis, but I cough up a thick clearish liquid and not any mucuous (or at least any colored mucous). It's thicker than spit but colorless.

When taking a shower one day it seemed like I could hardly breathe all of a sudden. I could still breathe but it was like I could only intake about half of what I usually inhaled and it felt constricting. I rushed out and sat on the bed to calm down and my heartbeat was beating fast and hard. It calmed down a bit.

Also, when swimming or running I start to cough really badly and it becomes difficult to breathe. This never happened to me before. The coughing isn't as painful, but they're still pretty long/violent (loud) coughing but I only ever cough up this clear spit like substance :(

Should I see a doctor? Usually I would, but right now I don't have insurance (won't have any until school starts) and getting medical attention is really expensive. I'm getting a bit worried since it been over 2 months now but I don't want to waste $ if its not serious :(

So I originally SIR'd to UCLA on May 1st but was accepted off appeal (originally waitlisted) by UCSB. I'm a neuroscience major at UCLA and a biopsychology major at UCSB and grad school bound.

I live 3 hours from SB and 1 hr from LA and finances will not play a part in my decision.

I really do love UCSB's atmosphere more. The beach is gorgeous, the atmosphere is chill/laid back, and because it's not as competitive as UCLA, I feel attaining a better GPA and getting research would be more accessible. But I do feel a bit wary about how isolated it is (will I get bored?). I do like surfing though.

But UCLA has the prestige. I'm not sure how much this will help me in the future since I'm grad school bound. I'm not a fan of the competitive atmosphere. Im proactive, I will do things and I will start things/achieve for what I want, but I am not someone who will trample over others .I'm ambitious, but not cutthroat.I heard UCLA has massive grad deflation and getting a decent GPA as a south campus major is extremely difficult especially since I'm on the pre-med track (because of my major) although I'm not a pre-med. These kids will kill to get the grades and I can see myself drowning. I can do it, but I'll just be extremely stressed and not as happy.

So is going to UCSB a horrible choice over UCLA?

Does undergrad *really* matter if you get into a good grad school?

Any advice/experience from both school would be awesome (just nothing mean!)

I'm 17 years old, never had a baby, and in a monogomous relationship with my boyfriend and we both have been tested and cleared of STDs. My mom made me get birth control because shes scared ill get raped in college. Mirena seemed the best as it lessens my periods (I have extremely heavy cramping/bleeding) and would last all of college and the rest of senior year.

However it's been a week now and I have had cramps EVERY DAY. I take 4 ibuprohens to make it go away and sometimes even that doesn't work (I might have to take 6!). It feels less like a cramp and more like a sharp stinging/achey pain but it's not throbbing like cramps do. There also a feeling of numbness/stingyness near the opening of my vagina (but no pain inside).

I've also had a decreased sex drive and appetite. My abdomen is bloated and I feel nauseous.

I just feel yucky :(

Is this normal? How long will this last? Is it because I haven't had a baby? I know it's only been a week, but cramps EVERY DAY makes it seem like it's not worth it.

Hello everyone.

I am 17 years old, 18 in July and a senior in highschool.

I am in a monogomous relationship (using condoms for birth control for about 6/7 months) and we have both been tested and cleared for any STDs.

Now my mother is a bit paranoid and wanted me to get birth control for college in case I get raped because she doesn't want me to go through an abortion. Okay. Well, I figured it would be fine and me and my boyfriend could try unprotected sex (since normal sex isn't that fun for me honestly) and yes, I know there are other factors etc.

Looking at the different types, the Mirena IUD seemed best as I also suffer from extremely heavy periods (I have very low iron during them) and it would cover all of college and the rest of senior year.

Well, I got one inserted a week ago, the insertion itself was painful but barely lasted a minute. After, I felt crampy and nauseous and was bedridden. After a few days the cramps settled down, but a different pain emerged. It was more of a sharp throbbing pain in my lower abdomen/opening of my vaginal area (but it doesn't hurt inside the vagina) that's pretty constant throughout the day and always starts around 11 am.

It really hurts and I need 4 ibuprohens to numb it and sometimes even that doesn't work so I'm thinking it's cramping but something else. I don't have back pain or headaches but sometimes I feel light headed and nauseous when I have this pain.

It's been a week and I'm getting scared the pain won't go away for a long time and I want to consider a different kind of birth control. Lighter periods, but cramps EVERY day? Doesn't seem worth it? :(

Will it go away? How long does this usually last? Is it because I haven't had a baby yet? Or I'm young? Any answers are appreciated so long as they arn't rude!

I applied for 8 UC Campuses last November and I'm applying to five more this winter.

While filling out supplements for the common app, I realized I could use the same essay I wrote for the UC schools. I went to find it and I realized there was a typo. When you paste your essay from whatever word processor you use, there's a lot of weird techinical typos that end up like ?? instead of ".

So instead of "humanity" it would come out as ??humanity?? and you had to correct it.

There was one huge one: One such time was during a movie night fundraiser; my assistant promised the showing of a rated R film a?? something I never agreed too.

(I also realized I used the wrong too.)

I'm freaking out a bit because my dream school is Berkeley and I'm wondering if this really ***** up my chances because I didn't check my writing 10000%

What do you guys think? I'm a pretty qualified applicant and this essay is my weaker one - 250 words compared to the 750 one I also wrote (my strongest essay).

So I'm 17 years old and my parents have never bothered to buy me clothes ( I haven't hadthem purchase anything since i was in 7th grade). So all my clothes are from middle school, which is eh, but I haven't really grown.

However, I've spent the past two years working and saving up and I have about $750 (I help pay rent, bills, and use a lot on gas etc.) The only problem is that I have a really abnormal body type and I hate trying on clothes, most of them dont fit. I'm also not really a fasionista since I haven't had clothes in forever.

My stats:

5'4 (barely average!)

114 - 120 lbs (my weight fluctuates between periods, and when I love food)

32 DDD boobs (they're big, and they're natural)

Skinny legs (thigh gap thing)

I have like an inverted triangle body shape.

So does anyone have any good shops or fasion advice for me?

I'm looking into things that arnt TOO expensive (I would pay 20/25 max for a shirt and maybe 50 for jeans if they were GOOD jeans).

I like low cut things (collars kinda choke me) but I don't want to appear slutty, because the INSTANT you show a centimeter of cleavage you're a whore >>;

I have a lot of family issues, I even addressed them in personal statement.

I decided I could easily handle 5 AP Classes... and well... it's not looking good.

Grades:

AP Environmental - A-

AP Calculus AB - C

A lot of issues have been affecting me. Parents might be divorcing soon, taking care of my sick mother, working... it's hard...

Will these grades kill my chances at getting into a good school? I want Berkeley, but I doubt it'll happen to be honest. I have a 4.2 GPA and in the top 10% of my class. I'm scared.

So... basically me and my boyfriend got horny and went into his car. I hopped on his lap and we began grinding and he put it in a position hat was nearly straight up and my knee slipped and i fell down hard on it.

Basically he said he heard a snap and that i folded a bit. It didn't hurt at first, but he really is bad at feeling most things.

I am 18 years old and am recently sexually active with my 18 year old boyfriend.

He will be going to college soon and I will finish up my senior year.

He will visit once a month, which means I will probably have sex with him once a month starting in october.

I went to a gynecologist and she explained the different options I have:

The Pill - taken every day at the same time, light to no periods. Miss a day and everything is screwed.

Nueva Ring - put in for 3 weeks, then one week without. Heard it can fall out, hassle getting a prescription every month.

IUD - put in once and works for either 3, 5, or 10 years. May forget to take out and I'm a little skeptical it can last so long.

Armband - injects small band in your upper arm and needs to be taken out every few months (or a year). It can move around and cause nerve damage and infections. If it moves, it can be impossible to take out.

Patches - wear patches and rotate every 4th week.. Need new prescriptions every month, patches could come off.

Injections - take every 3 months, completely shuts down ovaries. No period. Have to wait a year for ovaries to come back to normal.

Things to keep tabs on:

I will be going to college in a year as well. I am physically active and extremely busy, especially during senior year. I will have sex with boyfriend once a month at most.

That being said, i'm probably going to forget about the pill. The patches seem skeptical and the arm band thing freaks me out too much.

So IUDs, Nueva Ring, and injections seem to be more reasonable.

I'm a bit scared of birth control - what if will feel like, the success rate, the side effects, how periods will be etc.

Does anyone have any experience with any of there? Any more information? I have to make a choice by next week. Please no rude answers.

(My boyfriend and I are STD free and he's getting checked out if has sex with someone in college - which is an issue i won't discuss here)

I am 18, my boyfriend 19, and we've been together for 5 1/2 months. I put a summary at the bottom if this is too long.

My boyfriend, we'll call him R, has some intense jealousy issues. When he gets jealous, he gets into dark moods and isolates himself and thinks horrible thoughts can last for an hour to a day or two. He gets jealous of whenever I mention another guy, but at first it was people who he deemed "suitors" (people I'm friends with who have either wanted me or if we've had a past). I didn't talk about those people to him, but i recently found out he got jealous of:

A kid I helped on the internet that lives in Canada (we live in So Cal)

A friend I just got in contact with after he moved 10 years ago

One of my best friends

He claimed I hurt him 3 times in one week and I realized I can't talk about any guys whatsoever, so I stop. He is now in Mexico and will be back tomorrow.

A few days ago, I go out with the childhood friend and tell him very bluntly (I'm going out with Austin). And he ASKS specifically about how it went. I was very blunt and honest - it was nice to go out, we went to a coffee shop, and i showed him around at local ice cream places and bakeries. He was at a party and sends me a message the next morning.

The message said (paraphrasing since this is already long): Hey babe, I had a good night. I found out I was a sexy beast. I walk in and all the ladies legit swoon. I loved it. I talk about stories and they soaked it all in. It was great! The guys were broly, but the girls... cute. They would give me a lot of stares and im like kk... that's cute ;P I saw a girl with boobs and she reminded me of you. My uncle told me to get the girls and im like lol girlfriend remember?

And I felt very hurt by this. He was intentionally hurting me and trying to get back at me even though he ASKED me what happened. He hurt himself and took it out on me. I send him a long message explaining I don't want to play these mind games, i can't make him trust me, nothing happened, and his jealousy is consuming him. I tried to remain calm and told him we needed a break until he came back from mexico (we can only talk on fb, since his phone doesnt work). He never replied.

I found out through multiple friends that he's planning to go skinny dipping with his best friends and other girls on my birthday. And he's messaged over 12 girls.

I'm very angry and hurt and feel like i want to break up, but I should talk about this to him in person and not make rash decisions. I know guys like to make their girlfriends jealous from time to time, (my friend told me so) but I don't know if this is crossing the line... what do you think? No rude answers please ;c

TL;DR/Summary: Boyfriend has jealousy issues and gets jealous after hearing me hang out with an old friend and sends me a long message expressing how much he loved and received attention and flirting from girls at a party, I respond with a message explaining myself and asking for a break. He hasn't replied and i found out he wants to go skinny dipping on my b-day.

The server was crashed if you go to apscore.org directly but seemed to work if you logged in first and then checked your scores.

So I click to view my scores and... I only see the Euro exam score i took the previous year in 2012.

My 3 other APs i took this year didn't exist or weren't uploaded (I took Bio, Lang, and U.S. History)

The profile I have is linked with my SAT but uses a different email address than I put on my AP Exams, could that be an issue?

Also I don't have my AP #, so I'd have to call if I wanted to try that way.

What do you think the issue is?
